They do close at 7pm which is early from other States I have gone to. It's not very big but it's still a great mall.

Louis Joliet Mall is the biggest place to shop in this big suburb. Has a lot of places to go inside even with many being closed. The quality of the stuff isn't is good as it once was and there's not much good other than seeing a movie. Better malls are certainly around but this one has a lot of interesting history about it. It's been around here since 1978 with it being one of two malls that had opened recently. The other was Jefferson Square Mall, which opened a few years earlier and closed in 2002 and was demolished pretty soon after that. Has gone through a few anchors. There's a Cinemark movie theater, JCPenney's, and Macy's. Basically the theater opened in 2009, and has since brought in the most business. There also used to be a Bergner's and Sears. A Sears subsidiary actually financed the mall's construction. There's been many instances of vacancies. The Carson's closed in 2018, but reopened later. Panera Bread, T.G.I. Friday's, and Tilted Kilt have closed. The Sears closed in 2019 and has not been replaced. Got to say it's been around for awhiles. It's not like it once was but it's still hanging on. There's still lots open but there's also tons of vacancies.

The team there was great and took the time to help my daughter and me. She wears contacts and the suggestions they made on the type of contacts she should wear based upon her lifestyle were priceless! We've tried cheaper places, like America's Best, and the exam that you get here is so much BETTER! Love the professional ophthalmologists here they KNOW the current medicine in eye care! Even if you don't buy your glasses here go for the eye exam!

When I asked if there was a number system I was unaware of, I got a snarky answer. The rest of the visit had me flustered and in tears. Not only do I have a physical handicap, but I had also been recovering from a pit bull attack. Hard to have an accurate exam with tears in my eyes. I felt so dismissed. 2nd visit pick up. Location of bifocal was too low. Remeasured and was told new glasses would take about 2 weeks. That's all Taylor said. Just expect a call when they're ready. 3rd visit, another pick up. Bifocal was ok. Couldn't take new glasses because I didn't have the 1st pair to turn in. Never heard anything about that at 2nd visit with Taylor. Was made to feel that I should be familiar with the Lenscrafters rules and regulations. Ok, wait. I paid handsomely for the visit and the glasses. Doesn't that mean I should be properly informed? Am I expected to be as informed as the employees? Now I'm out of town closing the summer house until 3rd week of Oct. (We left town immediately after the attempt to pick them up.) Need them for driving. What the heck did the girl today mean when she said I could have someone else come to pick them up? I'M NOT HOME. So the glasses I need are sitting in the store. I'm almost 70. Would have been nice if they let me take the correct ones and note on my account that I would return the original glasses upon my return in Oct. Don't ask me if I would recommend them to anyone. Oh no.
