This has to be one of the sexiest smoothie bowls I have ever ordered... This place can get super busy on weekends yet the workers are always kind & friendly. They take the time to make your order feel special with cute hearts or smiley faces. I came in on a weekday & they took their time crafting this beautifully executed bowl & it was fantastic. A quick scan of Sun Life Organics' dense and complicated menu left me with a single impression: this is expensive healthy food. With "Signature Bowls" (acai, dragon fruit, Greek yogurt) ranging from $15 to $41 (Billion Dollar Bowl), matcha drinks running around $11, and smoothies in the $13-$14 range I surmised I was paying mostly for ingredients and the Larkspur Landing location as the space itself isn't much more impressive than Jamba Juice. I opted for the Hawaiian Bowl ($16) featuring acai topped with hemp granola, strawberries, bananas, and coconut shreds. It was good and ample but missing the honey (additional $2) that usually tops these sorts of things. I'm someone who'd rather grab a fresh grapefruit than pay steep prices for lots of natural sounding ingredients but perhaps I'm in the minority; they appeared to be doing a brisk business. Simple as it was, this might've been the best acai bowl I've found in Marin County. For that I was thankful. Sun Life Organics is pricey to overpriced depending on your mindset. Major decline in quality and portioning for ACAI Bowl. Fradulent, More like you're paying for a bowl of granola and air, than a proper acai bowl. Hardly any acai in bowl. Bowl was 80% granola and only 20% acai. Had to dig to find it. Like they ran out of their pink, fresh in house acai (where you can see some of the skin in, that stood out to me previously) and use what seemed like something squeezed out of frozen costco acai packet (didn't bother to blend it or stir it). If this case, rather have been told that they are out of their acai, than get this. First experience was delicious and fresh, and well proportioned, beautiful bowl. Last two visits, were disgusting letdown. Ashamed that I had recommended this place to many others...and on behalf of Sunlife, for delivering such a scam product. Had to review this place for their Pink Goddess juice drink. Pink is my favorite color, but I love the ingredients in the drink and it's so good! And how fun is the name?! It's my go-to order at SunLife Organics. It's a small shop, with a couple of tables outside (not shaded unfortunately for someone pale like me who tries to avoid being out in the sun). Parking is usually not too hard to find even when it gets busy in the shopping center. It's pricey as others have said, and I wish they stayed open a little bit later. They carry some niche brands of snacks (ex: Glownuts & Senor Mango) and offer a good amount of made-to-order smoothies and bowls! Not cheap but we had a great experience! My order did take about 15/20 minutes to come out... the wait was worth it though! Sunlife Organics is beyond amazing! I remember wanting to go to the Malibu location back in 2016, but I was excited to hear they were bringing the taste of Malibu to me in Marin! I will say, don't be in a rush when ordering anything from here. As you may see from their menu, there's a ton of ingredients packed into their smoothies, juices, and açaí bowls. It's unrealistic to order a beverage with 12 ingredients and expect it to be made well in under 5 minutes. They really take their time with the measurements and portions--even decorating their açaí bowls to look super pretty. Some of my favorite items here are the Brazilian Bowl, the iced matcha latte, and the Million Dollar smoothie. They all taste very healthy and don't have that sugary taste like Jamba Juice. It's especially refreshing after a workout! In terms of the ambiance, they encourage you to not be on your phone, and there's a big sign saying they have no wifi. Although I do not find myself talking to other people around me (like the sign encourages), the space both internally and externally is very bright and lets the sun beam through. I honestly really take in the environment around me, and *occasionally* scroll through my phone without wifi. The white interior makes the space feel a lot roomier and it often smells really good--like fresh fruits! Not to mention, they have shelves and an assortment of merchandise, books, energy boosting snacks, hand soaps, lotions, and a refrigerated section of beverages that are hard to find elsewhere like Kin Euphorics drinks (drinks co-founded by supermodel, Bella Hadid) and sea moss gel. I do enjoy browsing through the shelves and seeing what they have. Right outside, they have wooden picnic tables and two giant crystals on the outside. The crystals make a nice touch and really elevates the space/sets the tone for walking into Sunlife. The items on the menu are indeed pricey, but it's really worth it because of the time put into making it, and you really can taste the quality of the ingredients altogether.
