This place is awesome…read more Brandon is a great guy to get a hold of and works with and around your needs. I planned a last minute trip for my three guy friends and myself due to one being on leave from the Navy and they had a blast. Patrick and Gus happily greeted us, even upon our late arrival and we were on our way. We purchased the go pro deal and the group package(so that they can take all four of us out, rather than having two at a time). The only inconvenience was that the go pro died, but Patrick was awesome enough to film through his phone (high definition) and capture the memories. I haven't seen the outcome of them yet.. but I'm hoping it'll be a good turnout. We were suited up in our life vests and headed off to open water in the docks. We each enjoyed a brief "s turn" tutorial so that we can get used to turning with the jet packs on our feet. We each got to stand up on our own and when in the right position, the pack launched us into the air. Depending on your stability, you can get some pretty high air. It was an exhilarating feeling, but I was also more focused on balancing so that I could get higher. My guy friends did great and all got pretty high. I would definitely do this again, with more experience and courage. Also with our time more planned out so that I could void the rescheduling fee. Overall though, we had a blast and you would definitely want to try this either as a group, tandem or even just yourself. Depending on the quantity of people, the more time you can get individually since they only have one jet pack.

The business was sort of hidden/hard to find, so we gave them a call and they were able to point us in the right direction. Once we were there, paying and getting on the kayak was super easy! They also have lockers for rent for $5 for your whole trip. This place is also dog-friendly! The dunes itself was very pleasant to kayak around and easy to navigate. We went around 9:30am, so it wasn't super busy nor was it super hot. It felt perfect breezy! Super fun experience, and I would highly recommend them!

AXXIS Motors was able to get my ski running again but when I got home, I checked the oil and found water in the oil. I let them know and they offered to do an oil change but they are an hour away. This is something they should have checked.

This was by far the worst whale watching tour I've ever taken. I've done whale watching multiple…read moretimes before -- in Boston and other locations -- and every other tour actually went out into deeper waters where whales are usually found. This tour, however, barely left the coastline. If whales could be seen that close to shore, I could have just stood on the beach and saved my money. The trip was advertised as 2 to 2.5 hours, but it only lasted about 1.5 hours. Most of that time was spent heading back toward the harbor, and then we sat near the harbor entrance for around 20 minutes just watching sea lions. I honestly don't understand why anyone should pay $50 per person just to look at something you can easily see from the shore. It felt misleading and disappointing. The boat never seriously attempted to go offshore, where whales are actually located. What made this even more frustrating was that I specifically asked the staff before booking whether we were likely to see whales, and they assured me we would. Do not waste your money on this tour.

It just brings me so much joy. There were only 10 of us, which I think is a perfect amount of people for a tour like this, not too full. And Captain Erica drove us right to the action! We were in the middle of Minke whales, humpbacks, and fin whales! Fin whales are the second largest animal on earth! And gorgeous, so sleek. They taught us a lot about ocean life on the ride, I'll never forget this trip. And there were easily hundreds of dolphins and a few sea lions. My cortisol levels dropped to zero, for sure. However, in my experience, the area receives a lot of fishing pressure, and the catch is often limited to smaller fish. I originally purchased two trips through a Groupon to try out the fishery. On my first trip, we only caught very small whitefish and sculpin. If the size limit was still 10", we would have maybe had 20 keepers. If anyone had larger than a 1lb sculpin or 2lb whitefish, I would be surprised. Jackpot was a sheepshead. Unfortunately, I missed my second trip in June and later contacted the landing about redeeming it, especially since the yellowtail bite is strong right now. I was surprised to learn that I would need to pay a $55 rescheduling fee, despite already paying more than $100 for the trip, even with the Groupon discount. For regular or experienced anglers, I would not recommend this option. Parking in the area can exceed $40, although the landing mentions there are less expensive lots nearby. My credentials are not important, but I fish frequently and have considerable experience. Based on that experience, I did not find this trip to be a good value.
