This is on my way to school & work & I must say I love it. It's not often to find a place the has a turkey & cheese croissant. I recently gave up eating pig & trying to limit my red meat intake & ham & cheese were one of my go to's. I'm glad this location offers this, and the donuts are magnificent. Co-workers have picked up from here & that's how I found out about this gem. The staff is friendly & the shop looks well maintained. Overall I'd say this is a great location, clean environment, & good pastries/baked goods. Thank you

Peter the owner was well known. I got there for a THTG order and there were three guys ahead of me. They all seemed to know him pretty well and it just goes to show how family friendly this place was. Donuts we sooo good!!!!

I will give this donut shop 5 stars based solely on the customer service!! The gentleman working the counter was so sweet and nice! I'll be back just to talk to him again! The shop is on the smaller side so there really isn't seating but I took my donuts to go and that works for me since I've got little ones with me. The cronut was my absolute favorite! They also offer it filled with strawberries so I'll have to give that a shot next time! The iced coffee was okay. I usually like let creamer in my coffee but it's already premixed so next time I'll just do hot coffee and mix in my cream and sugar myself. The prices were great and they had a ton of donut options. There were plenty of colorful ones (my kids go for sprinkles/m&ms/decorations/etc) so that was perfect for them.

I got 100 donut holes for only $20 and a whole free box of donuts just out of the kindness of their hearts

This is my go to donut place and one of the sweetest people ever. I expressed to them that I work at a high school and I was getting ready for testing so I went over to get some kids some donut holes not only did she give me a discount just all the kindness of her heart, but she gave my students Free donuts just because she was extremely sweet! It's so cute in there as well but I believe one of the best things about it is that it's such a great neighborhood donut shop and they are so kind and sweet. I wish I could give them more stars so 10 out of 10 recommendations.

Love coming here for donuts and also love that they can customize their glazing and designs to fit my party and holiday needs! I've come here a few times to get their donuts, always a solid place. We always order a sugar donut and a maple bar. Recently I've come here to buy donuts for some events and parties I've thrown: my sisters bridal shower, her wedding, and even for Chinese New Year (bright red with gold dots)! The owner is helpful and creative with ideas and her donuts come out beautifully. Go with the raised donuts with glazing (not cake donuts). We had baby pink and white donuts with white drizzle and chocolate with white drizzle for the bridal shower and wedding and it was an absolute hit. The donut wall came out beautifully and everyone enjoyed the donuts. It's more expensive than your regular glazed donut but well worth it. I order a few days in advance and they always have it ready for pick up on the morning of the event. And the owners are awesome and always polite and friendly.

DONUT HOLES FTW Clean, quiet donut shop with a lot of fresh donuts. Women working here were friendly and talking to customers. I got donut holes and they were light and airy with just enough sweet glaze it wasn't sticky like some places.

I've been coming here for about ten years. I get a maple bar every Friday. The place recently changed ownership and now I notice the difference in flavor and quality. My maple bar isn't fully glazed on top and the donut isn't as light and fluffy as it used to be. It's the end of an era.

So glad this is the nearest, local, independent donut shop to my home. Donuts have a GREAT flavor, Jalapeño Cheese Croissant is above par, Gaviña coffee, friendly & multi-generation family owned, friendly & reasonable priced to boot. Can't go wrong with Sunny Donut. Not your typical donut place. Better, way better. Their donuts are really good, not oily not too crispy. Just right. They even have the sort of 'luxurious' donuts with the fancy toppings for a really great and fair price. I will be going back to this place! Nice and friendly service too! read more

By far the B E S T donuts I have ever tried!!! We live down the street from this little donut shop which I would always avoid going to because of the small parking lot, but my goodness. I don't even mind now. They have the best glazed donuts ever! As soon as you take a bite, it breaks down in your mouth and melts. You can order your traditional one dozen donut box or order single gourmet donuts which are a little bit more. So many to choose from! You're missing out if you haven't tried this donut shop. Felt like a donut fix and saw this place driving by. Just went in before looking it up. What a nice surprise...shelves were nicely stocked at 11am..place was clean..even the tables. The man that helped me was very nice. Got my usual apple fritter and because they looked so good..i got a turkey and cheese croissant. Had to try the croissant first...should have warned out up first but even cold it was delicious. Lots of turkey. Haven't tried the fritter yet but it looks yummy as well. read more

Favorite donut place in whittier. From the outside looks like any donut place but dont let the outside fool you. Early in the morning they have a larger selection then in the afternoon. But even in the afternoon you will find something according to your taste and you won't be dissatisfied. read more

Very clean business. I bought an ice coffee, tiger tail, fruity pebble, Ham and cheese croissant and doughnut holes. The donuts are ok. The croissant was a little doughy. The ice coffee was a little too sweet for me. The fruity pebbles was moist. The tiger tail meh, not so soft. read more

I just phoned this shop requesting an order for a panda design. Although, they didn't have any or make them regularly. The employee was kind enough to offer to try and make one. Nice little family owned and operated donut shop with a lot of variety of donuts. They have some hybrid donuts that a crosses between cinnamon rolls and a glazed donut that I like. Coffee is good and I often get my lotto ticket here. Definitely worth a drive by if you're in the area. read more

I go here for the glazed blueberry donuts!!! Literally down the street from my house. Hands down bomb!! . I just found out they make Thai tea. Going to get that next time.. The Response written by sunny donut is ABSOLUTLY untrue! My wife and I as well as our two small children left the donut shop after being verbally assaulted, we never asked for milk instead. We bought nothing we left the shop and will never return and will encourage everyone we know not to support this business!
