This donut shop sounds very patriotic! How could I not stop in? I've seen other shops of the same name so it may be a local Southern Cal chain? Anyways, this particular location that I dropped by was pretty good. Everything from the service to the cleanliness to the donut selection was fine. There was still a bunch of donut choices that Sunday afternoon I stepped inside their doors. They had my Custard filled Chocolate donut available so I had to try it. It tasted good, but there was NOT enough custard. Took a few bites before I tasted custard. Very disappointing to me when the custard to donut ratio is so low. Also tried their Orange donut. I grabbed a dozen donuts, which came to $10.50, and bought some lottery tickets with my spare change. First thing I noticed was that all the donuts are really poofy! Best Donut shop in Whittier!!! The mom and the son (I'm assuming that's their relation) are awesome. The prices are reasonable compared to other donut shops that'll charge you $2-$3 more for items. They're always fully stocked on Donuts at all times of the day. When we come we always get a Dozen because it's just cheaper and the donuts last at least 3 days and we just take some for work in the mornings until its finished! Both the lady and her son are soooo sweet. They always give 1,2 or 3 free donuts extra! We drive past all donuts shops that are closer to home and come back here for their customer service alone.
