I have used Sunny Hills many times and this is the first time I was disappointed in the work and the price. I know costs have gone up there thier increase is excessive. I had to ask the cleaner to put something under the feet of the furniture so the wood would not bleed to the wet carpet. They missed a few areas, and left the edges of the carpet frayed (this has never been an issue in the past). Afer nearly 10 years, I will be finding new carpet cleaning service. read more

They arrived on time, covered the entryway with drop cloths, and worked tirelessly throughout the morning. Terrible customer service! I was scheduled for carpet cleaning between 1pm and 3pm today, and since the girl who answers the phone didn't call me to remind me of the appointment like she said she would, I decided to call them at 12:20pm to make sure that I was still on their schedule. And wouldn't you know it, they had tried calling me, and since "I didn't respond," they couldn't get to me today after all. A couple of things here: 1) They had one digit wrong for my phone number, which was caused by either not hearing it correctly in the first place or not writing it down correctly. I'm going with the latter, since the number they used sounds nothing like the actual number (9 vs 2), and I can see how someone could write a "9" that could end up looking like a "2." So, they were calling the wrong number. 2) Since I was already on their schedule, I don't understand why they couldn't come after doing whatever job they were doing at the time, especially since they're open 'til 5pm. (Just checked again to make sure.) To their credit, they did offer 20% off for Tuesday next week, but I had already moved the furniture, and I only have Fridays off. So, after calling 8 different carpet cleaning places, Sparkle Carpet Steam Cleaning came and did the job for me. They had even finished for the day and were already home. Now THAT is good customer service! Plus, they did an excellent job. read more

Followup. Here's what they did for me: Replaced the lining using a company of THEIR choice. I waited two weeks. The lining was substandard and the company used a large needle to attach blackout lining. This is a no-no in the world of professionally done blackout lining. (I only know this because when we originally researched blackout lining, I was told by multiple drapery companies that a small needle must be used to avoid long lines of "needle holes" into which sunlight makes its way.) Additionally, the drapes are now all lopsided off the floor. They originally touched the floor, level. Now they are an inch off in spots and up to two inches in other spots. Very random and really noticeable. Oh, and since the lining is new, it shows BEHIND the drapes in areas. BOTTON LINE: MY VERY EXPENSIVE, CUSTOM MADE DRAPES WENT IN FOR A SIMPLE CLEANING AND WERE ALL BUT DESTROYED BY THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY. THEY TRULY DO NOT SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Here is my suggestion for their next ad campaign: SUNNY HOLES CLEANS THEN WE RIP, SHRED AND SHRINK Call us today for a headache tomorrow. read more

Very frustrating scheduling process. I attempted to schedule a morning appointment three times and was promised at 8:30-9:00am arrival time. Each time nobody showed up as scheduled. I would call asking where they were and was told they would arrive at 12 or 1 pm when I wasn't available. I called again today for our third morning appointment attempt and again they said they had an "opening at 1pm". I set aside my entire morning and moved furniture yet again. Safe for the environment, pets, and especially for kids...a no brainer! I met Mike and had him come down for an estimate on some cleaning needs in my home, 2 sets of couches (microfiber and white italian leather), a very large area rug, 2 microfiber ottomans, carpet in the living room, and cloth blinds. He came in explaining the entire process to me and my wife, and we felt confident that he'll do a great job. We schedule the appt, and a crew of 2 technicians came in and re-explained the process. Even showed us the "white towel" test before and afterwards. WOW!!! what a difference. The towel test before was dirty, and clean after wards! They did not bring a heavy cleaning unit that you'll find in a grocery store to rent, but hoses from their truck that reaches inside the house. Now that's quality service as they don't want to ruin my wood floors. On top of that, they covered the floors so it won't get all marked up or get dirty! It took about 1/2 day to do all that and for some items to dry for 24 hrs (carpets and rug). The outcome was terrific and we were so impressed. We'd used this company for quite some time. The last time they took our four area rugs to clean they brought them back smelling horribly of chemicals. They could not be used in our home. We stored them to air out for five months before we could use them again--checking them periodically. We were told that this smell was due to a new cleaning agent they were using. We have not used them since. Previously we were happy with the two young men who did a good job of cleaning our upholstery. They were thoughtful and caring. The cleaner they used at that time did not have an odor. They cleaned our drapes and carpets for a number of years, but seemed to be rather flippant when I called about the nasty smell. read more

Highly recommend Sunny Hills Cleans for drapery cleaning. Previous owners left some custom drapes that needed cleaning. Scheduling the pick up and re-hang service was completely painless with Teresa, and I appreciated that she called to have me sign a waiver that some of the stains may not come out. I had to change the delivery/re-hang date 3 times and she was very pleasant to deal with. Marco did a fabulous job re-hanging these rather high curtains. i cannot speak for the home service of water leak clean, or in home carpet cleaning, but this review is for my shag rug which i took into their store.... my son vomited all over our beautiful shag rug.. .of course, we tried to spray it and the smell never went away. then we decided to rent the BIG GREEN from LOWE's which is a heavy duty vacuum. nope, smell never went away... until we took our rug here! they were so nice in assisting the hubby with a wonderful back to school special price, so we dropped it off for a week. they cleaned, aired it out and after a few days back at our home, NO SMELL but a clean scented fragrance. oh boy, did we save so much money from buying a new rug so go to this place if you need ur rug cleaned! thank you! read more

An insurance company sent these people to to us to clean up after an interior water leak nearly a decade ago. The service was lackluster, but acceptable. However, ever since then they have had telemarketers calling our home several times per month to tell us about "specials". They won't stop calling and they hide behind a bank of numbers making it difficult to block them. Anything in the range 714-259-516# seems to be them. Whether or not their work is good, letting these people get a hold of your contact info is an invitation for a decade of annoyance. Google for these phone numbers and you'll find a host of irritated people that can't get any peace from these people. read more

I called these guys to clean my air ducts. They were quick, and customer service was great, but I thought it was way overpriced. For the five vents is was $175 and it took them less than an hour.
