I have used Sunny Hills many times and this is the first time I was disappointed in the work and the price. I know costs have gone up there thier increase is excessive. I had to ask the cleaner to put something under the feet of the furniture so the wood would not bleed to the wet carpet. They missed a few areas, and left the edges of the carpet frayed (this has never been an issue in the past). Afer nearly 10 years, I will be finding new carpet cleaning service. read more

I am a repeat customer. They did a great job. Price was ok. I will use them again. They cleaned my carpets read more

The only company I would trust for cleaning, carpets and drapes Last year they even did my area rugs. Very nice job picked them up, cleaned them delivered, and put them back in place. read more

Marco at Sunny Hills Cleans did a great job cleaning our patio furniture and outdoor rug. On top of that, the cost was very reasonable. We were very pleased and will be calling them for regular upholstery cleaning. read more

Marco and Mark cleaned our carpets and all our upholstered couches and chairs yesterday and did a fantastic job. They arrived on time, covered the entryway with drop cloths, and worked tirelessly throughout the morning. Marco determined that the fabric on one multi-colored chair may bleed, recommended not cleaning it, and deducted it from the pre-estimated cost. (It can be cleaned in the future with a particular solvent). We appreciated the attention to detail and the final results. Friendly professional service. read more

We have used this company multiple times for air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and carpet cleaning. They always do a great job. Prompt and professional. Great service, and very knowledgeable too. read more

Terrible customer service! I was scheduled for carpet cleaning between 1pm and 3pm today, and since the girl who answers the phone didn't call me to remind me of the appointment like she said she would, I decided to call them at 12:20pm to make sure that I was still on their schedule. And wouldn't you know it, they had tried calling me, and since "I didn't respond," they couldn't get to me today after all. A couple of things here: 1) They had one digit wrong for my phone number, which was caused by either not hearing it correctly in the first place or not writing it down correctly. I'm going with the latter, since the number they used sounds nothing like the actual number (9 vs 2), and I can see how someone could write a "9" that could end up looking like a "2." So, they were calling the wrong number. 2) Since I was already on their schedule, I don't understand why they couldn't come after doing whatever job they were doing at the time, especially since they're open 'til 5pm. (Just checked again to make sure.) To their credit, they did offer 20% off for Tuesday next week, but I had already moved the furniture, and I only have Fridays off. So, after calling 8 different carpet cleaning places, Sparkle Carpet Steam Cleaning came and did the job for me. They had even finished for the day and were already home. Now THAT is good customer service! Plus, they did an excellent job. read more

As the person who just called to follow up on my service said "some things you just can't some back from". Poor attitude of employees, arrived late, hidden gas and waste fees, I do not recommend their services. read more

Followup. Here's what they did for me: Replaced the lining using a company of THEIR choice. I waited two weeks. The lining was substandard and the company used a large needle to attach blackout lining. This is a no-no in the world of professionally done blackout lining. (I only know this because when we originally researched blackout lining, I was told by multiple drapery companies that a small needle must be used to avoid long lines of "needle holes" into which sunlight makes its way.) Additionally, the drapes are now all lopsided off the floor. They originally touched the floor, level. Now they are an inch off in spots and up to two inches in other spots. Very random and really noticeable. Oh, and since the lining is new, it shows BEHIND the drapes in areas. BOTTON LINE: MY VERY EXPENSIVE, CUSTOM MADE DRAPES WENT IN FOR A SIMPLE CLEANING AND WERE ALL BUT DESTROYED BY THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY. THEY TRULY DO NOT SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Here is my suggestion for their next ad campaign: SUNNY HOLES CLEANS THEN WE RIP, SHRED AND SHRINK Call us today for a headache tomorrow. read more

Ever since they cleaned my air ducts my asthma hasn't been bothering me as much. Thank you.

Very frustrating scheduling process. I attempted to schedule a morning appointment three times and was promised at 8:30-9:00am arrival time. Each time nobody showed up as scheduled. I would call asking where they were and was told they would arrive at 12 or 1 pm when I wasn't available. I called again today for our third morning appointment attempt and again they said they had an "opening at 1pm". I set aside my entire morning and moved furniture yet again. Foolish me for giving them a third try. Derek and Teresa at the office have very poor communication and follow through . read more

Very professional! They cleaned my couch covers and they look great. Always running promotions too so always ask!

I'm not a fan of giving a business 5 stars, but this was well-deserved. Mike, from Sunny Hills Cleans, was fantastic and extremely professional. He was prompt in getting back to me, thorough in communicating with me, and very personable. We were looking to rent out a house, but it had some funky discoloration spots going on. We made one phone call and the Sunny Hills crew was on it! They were fast and efficient in helping us clean our place, and within a few days, we've already got renters lining up for the house. Great job! read more

This was my first time using Sunny Hills, they did a great job cleaning the carpets in my house. My carpets had spots all over from dirt and after the cleaning, the place looked spotless, great job! Octavio was a great help, he really knew the business and was very friendly. I will definitely use this service again. read more

I had Sunny Hills come to my place in Newport Beach they clean the carpets and a sofa. I thought they did an excellent job. Brian was a technician that came out he said it been with the company for many years really a great guy. He was so good I give him a nice tip. I will definitely use them again and I can highly recommend him. Brian also told me about the other services of air duct cleaning area rug cleaning I have used them for area rug cleaning I do not have air duct since I have radiant heat but it was nice to know that he mentioned these to me and I do appreciate that. read more

This was my first time using Sunny Hills, and I was impressed by how clean my house was afterwards. We had some dirty spots and discoloration but they came out to my house and their cleaning did wonders. The thing that I liked the most about my experience was the customer service. From start to finish, their staff explained clearly, was responsive, and friendly. If you're looking for a good cleaning with great service, I'd highly recommend them. read more

Safe for the environment, pets, and especially for kids...a no brainer! I met Mike and had him come down for an estimate on some cleaning needs in my home, 2 sets of couches (microfiber and white italian leather), a very large area rug, 2 microfiber ottomans, carpet in the living room, and cloth blinds. He came in explaining the entire process to me and my wife, and we felt confident that he'll do a great job. We schedule the appt, and a crew of 2 technicians came in and re-explained the process. Even showed us the "white towel" test before and afterwards. WOW!!! what a difference. The towel test before was dirty, and clean after wards! They did not bring a heavy cleaning unit that you'll find in a grocery store to rent, but hoses from their truck that reaches inside the house. Now that's quality service as they don't want to ruin my wood floors. On top of that, they covered the floors so it won't get all marked up or get dirty! It took about 1/2 day to do all that and for some items to dry for 24 hrs (carpets and rug). The outcome was terrific and we were so impressed. We'll definitely use them again and referring their services to our friends and family. Call him and ask for Mike at x22. He'll take care of you right! read more

I have consistently used Sunny Hills, and been pleased each time. They are professional, efficient, on time, and careful. This past time Brian and Caesar came. Even though other cleaners advertise and offer huge "discounts" I will always go with "tried, true, and excellent" -- who wouldn't?? read more

We have used Sunny Hills Cleans multiple times for our carpets, furniture and drapes. This time we waited much too long to clean the carpets, and the stairs were especially bad. Ignacio came out and did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, worked around us working from home, and we were amazed at how clean the stairway got. Would highly recommend. read more

We'd used this company for quite some time. The last time they took our four area rugs to clean they brought them back smelling horribly of chemicals. They could not be used in our home. We stored them to air out for five months before we could use them again--checking them periodically. We were told that this smell was due to a new cleaning agent they were using. We have not used them since. Previously we were happy with the two young men who did a good job of cleaning our upholstery. They were thoughtful and caring. The cleaner they used at that time did not have an odor. They cleaned our drapes and carpets for a number of years, but seemed to be rather flippant when I called about the nasty smell. read more

These people are rude, crude, and very dirty. I really feared for my well being. The way my wife was treated was extremely unprofessional.

Highly recommend Sunny Hills Cleans for drapery cleaning. Previous owners left some custom drapes that needed cleaning. Scheduling the pick up and re-hang service was completely painless with Teresa, and I appreciated that she called to have me sign a waiver that some of the stains may not come out. I had to change the delivery/re-hang date 3 times and she was very pleasant to deal with. Marco did a fabulous job re-hanging these rather high curtains. They look beautiful, and the stains were completely removed. I would not hesitate to use their courteous and professional crew again. Edit (I am not in San Francisco as it shows above, I'm in Newport Beach!) read more

i cannot speak for the home service of water leak clean, or in home carpet cleaning, but this review is for my shag rug which i took into their store.... my son vomited all over our beautiful shag rug.. .of course, we tried to spray it and the smell never went away. then we decided to rent the BIG GREEN from LOWE's which is a heavy duty vacuum. nope, smell never went away... until we took our rug here! they were so nice in assisting the hubby with a wonderful back to school special price, so we dropped it off for a week. they cleaned, aired it out and after a few days back at our home, NO SMELL but a clean scented fragrance. oh boy, did we save so much money from buying a new rug so go to this place if you need ur rug cleaned! thank you! read more

An insurance company sent these people to to us to clean up after an interior water leak nearly a decade ago. The service was lackluster, but acceptable. However, ever since then they have had telemarketers calling our home several times per month to tell us about "specials". They won't stop calling and they hide behind a bank of numbers making it difficult to block them. Anything in the range 714-259-516# seems to be them. Whether or not their work is good, letting these people get a hold of your contact info is an invitation for a decade of annoyance. Google for these phone numbers and you'll find a host of irritated people that can't get any peace from these people. read more

I have used Sunny Hills for years and have always had great customer service from everyone. I do miss Cathy she was the inside rep who called religiously and kept in touch. Leslie is doing an outstanding job as her replacement and filling Cathy's big shoes. I called these guys to clean my air ducts. They were quick, and customer service was great, but I thought it was way overpriced. For the five vents is was $175 and it took them less than an hour. They also put all of our furniture legs up on blocks so they didn't ruin in the dampness. I use Sunny Hills for my all my clients' drapery and upholstery scotch guarding & dry cleaning needs.
