They took so long to get back to me and when I called they let me know that my insurance denied my claim. I had to do all the work, and then they told me I had to pay out of pocket for the orthotics. Very expensive! So I canceled the order and I'm going to another clinic that actually cares about me and is willing to explain and be proactive about a call back. If I wouldn't have called, they would have not called me back and I would have waisted my time going into a follow up appointment just to let me know that I had been denied. I'm obviously still frustrated with the whole matter. I'm glad to not go there ever again.

Even though we determined that he could not provide the device that I am seeking, he educated me about my current AFO; the alternatives for what I'm seeking and removed my frustration that I had. Unfortunately, he is not accessible to me through my HMO, but based on our interaction regarding what I'm seeking, I would recommend Kolman. Rick and his team work hard to make a good fit for your prosthesis and they have a personal touch where you really feel like they know you!! Many of their prosthetists also have missing limbs as well so they have first hand experience with the difficulties that amputees can face. The office is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it!! I know some people even fly in from out of state.
