I have quite a few conditions and she is good at managing them by ordering blood work at appropriate intervals. The blood work can be done there as they have labs on site. The nurses are quite good at that, can even get blood from me which is difficult for many! (They taught me the term for someone hard to get blood from is "hard stick" ) The office is always quite busy, but they dont massively double book like some doctors, so the wait times are not too bad, like max 20 min after scheduled time. They are quick to respond to pharmacy requests about refills which I appreciate. The front desk staff is couteous and seems to know what they are doing. The only thing is you have to check their hours when calling for appointment, as if they are not there it goes to a machined with no option to leave a message in the make an appointment options. I would recommend her.

My son is on quite a few medications and a couple are not common and yet they always have them for us or make sure they get them before he needs them. I recently was hospitalized and needed new medications on a Saturday just before they were closing and they made sure I had them!!! Yera has assembled a great staff and will go above and beyond to be sure all her customers are taken care of. They are serious about getting you your medication fast and if needed, they call the doctors office till your medication is right. They know you by name, care about you and you are not just a number. It's hard not to develop a friendship with them. I just love this pharmacy!! When my mom was going through cancer, Yera made sure her meds were on time!! When you call, you can actually speak to someone and get help!! The pharmacy is in a busy strip mall with lots of parking. They also deliver.

Upon arrival, you will see it is little difficult to find this office unless you slow down on Brookhurst street to find it. Once you park, they have the tinted double glass door and insidr, you will see about 20 chairs for the patients to wait and there are about 3-4 Korean ladies working busy. I was a new patient and i just went ahead to write my info and no one honestly cared that i was there, they were all busy busy. I gave them my insurance and ID and paid $15 copay...they gave me papers to sign and i returned them and waited maybe 5 minutes? I was called into a room and the lady staff was just doing her job.. asking regular questions like do you have any medical problems, blah blah... but nothing welcoming or friendly..she was definitely bored and tired of her work..I felt bad for her!!! anyways, she took some eye examines and left, and Dr Lee came in and did his usual observation as a doctor. I had to comeback and reschedule in 3 weeks , because I had an HMO, which needed an insurance authorization approval. So i came out and got a little business card with my appt date on it. I left and came out and left this review...and bottom line is..they did not have any great customer service but i was in N out in 30min..cant complain but i wouldve left 5 stars , only if they were 1.5 times friendly and welcoming. Im Korean, so I understand how these receptionists turn you off with their Unwelcoming attitudes. But nobodys perfect right? This place should be your mediocre Eye Doctor and you shouldnt really expect more than "heres your copay total and heres your next visit date" also. Just to get your check ups and tests, this place is MEDIOCRE at best. You decide.. hope this helps!

My appointment was scheduled for 1PM, and she stated that after midnight I would have to stop all eating and drinking (even water). I told her I was on medication and she stated that I can take it before 7AM with a sip of water. I never did a procedure like this before, so I just wanted to make sure and confirm that I was doing everything correctly. She snapped at me and gave me such attitude. I called her out on her unprofessional behavior and that I never did a procedure like this before, and just wanted to make sure. We started over, confirmed everything, then ended the call. Closer to the appointment, I was reading some reddit posts about other people's experience with having an endoscopy. I got a bit wary about doing the procedure and if it is worth potential complications. After thinking it over a whole day, I decided I would call tomorrow and cancel. They called me in the morning to confirm my appointment tomorrow. They kept having issues with hearing me over the phone, and she kept mistaking me saying that I wish to cancel my appointment, as confirming my appointment. Got a text message saying that my confirmation will come with a $100 fee since it was not within 5 days prior. I wanted to waive the fee because I was apprehensive about the procedure. They kept going on about how they can't hear me over the phone and kept disconnecting on me. After a few more calls, they finally admitted that they are having phone issues, on their end. My attached picture shows their website stating they are having phone issues. Their unprofessionalism was insinuating that the phone issue was on my end, disconnecting my call, and not having the courtesy to call me back, all the while knowing that the phone issue was on their end. Of course this was frustrating. After all this there is 0% chance I would want to have a procedure here; it's an issue of trust.
