Worst experience ever. Just wasted 2 hours of my day and gas that I can't get back. They were the one who called me to schedule the appointment. How can you schedule an appointment with a patient without knowing the equipment needed? Traveled through 3 freeways, being on time for the appointment and had to wait in the lobby for another half hour, and to be told that they don't carry the item. Super disorganized. The girls who work in the front office do not know if they are comong or going. The Doctor invited me to attend my fathers appt when he recieved his prosthetic. She clearly said it is a bigger room he will be in and so you will be able to attend. Only to be told the day of I had to wait outside. Fine by me but know what you are talking about before you talk. I feel bad for future patients. The same lack of information problem I had with staff here I could hear playout over and over again while the receptionist talks on the phone. This was prior to being asked to go sit out side the waiting room of course. Maybe I can get a job as office manager and put protocals in place so the customer service and patient experiance improves. read more

I read the negative reviews and have to say that I had a very different experience. The front desk was staffed and she greeted me as soon as I entered, she used my name when addressing me and explained clearly what she needed to do to get me checked in. The lobby was clean and comfortable. I was called to the back within 3-5 minutes of arriving and my entire appointment was completed within 25 minutes. My clinician was very professional, explaining the process clearly and I felt comfortable laughing and even joking a little with him. My only real dislike was the elevator in the building which isn't actually Hangers issue but the property owners issue. The elevator was slow and did not smell clean and being that it is an Orthotics and Prosthetic Office maybe a first floor location would be a smarter more easily accessible for clients . read more

Hanger called me to schedule an appointment to pick up my elbow strap. I showed up the day of my appointment and they told me I didn't have an appointment, WTH..right. There still is an hour left until the place close I see the physician leaving and explain to him what happened. He said don't worry about it somebody will take care of me. So I wait 19 mins later the receptionist tells me there's no one here to help you so you have to reschedule. So I rescheduled for 4 days later, I come back & see the same physician & he literally takes 2 minutes to hand me my elbow strap. He really couldn't do that the day I was there and had an appointment that they some how forgot about. Upon leaving the place I had to sign out with the secretary but she has me waiting awhile while she's having a side conversation with a co-worker. Maybe I should of lowery my expectations of this place before hand but the service hear is awful. No respect for their clients time. read more

I don't know where to start . I would give a negative star if possible! Unfortunately, the care I received was subpar and very unprofessional from the office staff to the doctor. I am a health care professional and I understand that things can be stressful during Covid , but the bedside manner was unacceptable! First multiple mistakes with scheduling appointments, which I can understand to a certain degree . However , the physician Michelle Chun was negative about my prognosis , condescending, and made a rude comment ( including hand gestures) that made me feel very uncomfortable. I was definitely caught off guard , but mostly disappointed that this healthcare professional and facility isn't treating clients in distress with kindness , patience, and understanding. Demand decent care and skip this facility! Appalling! read more

Seamus is my prosthetist and he is awesome and very dedicated. He doesn't give up till you get a good fit and is super knowledgeable. I've heard a lot of bad things about Hanger clinics so I was scared to come here but meeting Seamus helped set my mind at ease and he even helped me decide how much was best to amputate and what my prosthesis options would be with the different types of amputation I had open to me. We worked for months to get a good fit (docs botched my amputation) and I'm getting back in my leg post revision and things are looking/feeling good! He helped me reach my goal of getting into my leg for a concert and always works with my schedule. The staff is always so friendly and I haven't had any issues with insurance so they know how to get me what I need. I'll be getting my permanent leg soon and I know going forward I will be in great hands! It's been a big comfort through this whole ordeal to know that I've got a great prosthetist. 10/10 highly recommend. read more

Last week, spent two days in 2 hours on the phone plus email the authorization letter plus insurance card copy to this office to get an appointment at 9am on today. 8:55 registered and 9:10 is being call to the reception. if I have appointment is the question. Present the woman authorization letter and tell her, Yes 9 o'clock! She said, No, we don't have any appointment record. The office have 3 patients are sitting include me. 1 no appointment. I don't have appointment, I doubt about it. Then 30 minutes after my appointment, still sitting wait for the care. Up to now, I don't see anything that this office deserve any star. I am so impressed with Hanger.From the first time I called really helpful and I had to cancel a few times but they understood . The receptionist was super helpful and really friendly .They really help you to get the best Prostetic for you . Seamus they man who helped me is really amazing . He went beyond what I expected . The facility is amazing and very clean ! I would Defently recommend Hanger to anyone ! Very professional and super NICE ! Seamus was get every time I go in he helps me feel comfortable and Whilling to adjust my Prostetic every time and helps you make sure it works for you !
