The hype is real yall. The tapioca pearls here are absolutely perfect. The consistency is perfectly chewy with a sort of honey or sugar infused inside which is rare to find in other boba places around Memphis. My favorite drinks here are the classic black milk tea and oolong milk tea. I think tenn tea makes good fruit teas while this poke world makes incredible milk teas. I recommend the mango tango and strawberry lady rolled rice cream if you like fruity ice cream! The workers here are so nice and really get to know their regulars. The poke here is average, but their highlight is definitely the bubble tea. Their loyalty program and weekly discounts really makes you wanna keep coming back for more! This time I had a little bit of an issue with the food, I ate a poke bowl for the first time in a couple years, paired with an avocado smoothie. Checked this place out with some gals because I heard it's good and it's one of the few places in Memphis that offers boba. We got the honeydew green tea with boba, Thai milk tea with boba, and mango black tea with boba (not pictured). The pearls were cooked nearly perfectly, not mushy! Okay this is the second place in Memphis to sell Poke and I'm in love!! It's a bonus that they make bubble tea and rolled ice cream! I love the decor and the way it is set up inside. Feels like a Cali vibe! Super clean and friendly service! The price is very reasonable! This spot is solid for being in Memphis. They have poke and desserts here. To order, you fill out a sheet and hand it to the worker at the register. They then give you a number or buzzer for when it's ready and then you pay. When you pay, that's when they also ask if you want a drink or boba with your order. You can add as much toppings as you want, however, there are certain items that they do charge extra for. For example: avocado. They give a pretty good amount even though the bowl seems small. I do wish that the bowls were a tad bit wider so that it is easier to mix the poke. Overall, good spot! read more

This place is amazing! My wife and I recently moved to Memphis from LA and finding places like this are far fewer than what we're accustomed to. The staff was very welcoming, and the food quantity and quality was fantastic. As I was eating, the owner (I'm assuming it was the owner) brought out a small plate of delicious watermelon slices to all the tables, thanking everyone for visiting. My favorite poke place in Memphis! I love how simplistic their menu is, yet they have many choices to choose from. Their poke bowl ingredients taste fresh and are so full of flavor. I'm literally sitting in my car as I give this review. I am new to the area and was pretty excited to check out this Poke spot-however upon entering the establishment I received 0 acknowledgement-not a hello, or we'll be with you shortly, nothing. Mind you, there are no other customers there beside myself. The workers were preparing food (for pick up orders I assume) so I figured I'd give the benefit of the doubt and wait a few mins. There are some days where it's really packed and are some days where it's steady. The service is outstanding. Sometimes they get carried away but they always pick up the pace. I got a pretty simple poke bowl as well as the 4 other people I was with. My pineapple, chicken, mango, cucumber, and sauce was not fresh. The best part was honestly the rice and edamame. The drinks though, they looked immaculate. We didn't get any but they looked incredible. If I go back, that is what I will get. I wouldn't sit in either. The music was extremely loud and the show on the television was EXTREMELY inappropriate. Their COVID precautions are quite poor though. They have you write out your order and don't sanitize the pencils. The water is serve yourself and it just didn't seem right. The Poke bowls taste really good. However, bring a knife if you intend to eat it there. They don't cut their meat and vegetables small enough to be bite sized, and they don't have knives for you to use. (Don't come on a first date if you want to eat with proper manners.) I had to put the chicken on my fork and take several bites of each piece. I threw most of the cucumbers away because the slices were huge, and I didn't know how to eat them without using my fingers to hold and bite them. I had to manuever the onion to fold in half so it would fit in my mouth, which was a challenge. Also, they have not updated their bowl order form with current prices. I thought I was getting a 2 protein bowl for $10.99 and paying $1.00 for avocado. However, after they charged me $15+, I saw on the screen that 1 protein is now $10.99 and 2 proteins are $12.99, plus the avocado is now $1.50. If that information would have been on the order form, I would have only ordered 1 protein, and I would have skipped the avocado since I can buy a whole one from the grocery store for less than $1. Also, the service was just average. The workers are not friendly. Will I be back? Probably, since I end up eating in Cordova a few times a month, but I like Poke Bros. in East Memphis better. read more
