Our weekend with Cheryl and Adam was nothing short of fantastic. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and decided to take the weekend and visit the North Fork. We came upon Sunny Side up and decided to give it try. What a great two days! My only regret is that I did not spend the week. Two of the best hosts and people you could ever meet. The breakfast's were unbelievable, especially the Polenta which rivaled my very Italian grand mother's. We spent a delightful weekend at this North Fork B&B. This family run Inn has 3 rooms which are clean and comfortable. Our hosts were so helpful. They suggested restaurants, wineries, and beaches. Every suggestion was terrific. We slept soundly, had a wonderful breakfast, and an enjoyable time. We would definitely return to this charming get-away. read more

I cannot get over how great our stay was at the Sunny Side up. The young couple that runs the b&b was beyond hospitable, funny, and friendly. The house and the rooms were adorable, and also super modern, comfortable, and clean. I had one of the best night of sleeps in my life on a really comfy king size bed, and the private shower/ bathroom was perfect. I also never ate such a good breakfast-- they really go above and beyond. (That food was unreal.) The location was also great. We didn't have a car, but it's walking distance to a few great wineries and restaurants. For everything else, we took short Uber drives. I would come back here in a heartbeat and give it the highest recommendation. Bonus: They have a hyperallergenic small dog who is a joy. read more

I can't say enough about how great our experience here was. We're regular B&B travelers and we're fairly picky and this cute little place exceeded our expectations. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious and all have en suite bathrooms. Cheryl is an INCREDIBLE cook. We ate like we were starving because everything she put in front of us was just that good. Both she and Louis were just the sweetest, most welcoming people. We just sat and chatted with them a few times during our stay. The house itself is cozy and has lots of sitting areas and a cute little porch to hang out on. I can't say enough. This is a great value and a wonderful find. We'll be back. read more

Cheryl and Luis were one of the most inviting couples I have ever met. They welcomed us with open arms. After an earlier almost cancellation due to my girlfriend and I catching a wicked cold, we were scared that we would have to delay our long-awaited trip to the North Fork. Cheryl was more the accommodating and worked with us so we could have the perfect weekend we wanted. I have been to a few BnB's now and this experience was by far the best. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. (The tub was amazing!) It was so nice to have a private bathroom. I have had BnB's where there was a shared bathroom, but that was not the case. Also, the B&B was in the perfect location to just about everything on the NOFO. Now, the food. Oh, boy. The food! It was delicious. Each day Cheryl blew us away. We didn't leave hungry, let me tell you. Also, if you are looking to have a day out at the wineries, and a few tastings, you're definitely going to want to load up on Cheryl's tasty breakfast. I haven't eaten like that in a long time. SunnySide Up NOFO is cozy, beautiful, welcoming and have some of the best hosts out there. I would come back in a heartbeat. Cheryl and Luis were wonderful hosts and their b&b was about the cutest thing ever. My mom and I stayed there this weekend, and due to an overly enthusiastic stop at the Tanger outlets before our arrival, we ended up at Sunnyside Up with way too many bags. Cheryl was concerned about our ability to maneuver around our shopping bags, so she graciously offered us a larger room without charge. Cheryl and Luis are the most adorable and lively couple, and they go out of their way to ensure their guests have a great time and are well fed. Well fed being an understatement. Cheryl is a master breakfast cook and is terrified by the notion that a guest might leave with a hungry stomach. Breakfast is certainly a major highlight of the stay. But really, it's the warmth and charisma of the hosts that makes Sunnyside Up worth a visit. I hope I'll be lucky enough to come back soon. read more

There are some places that deserve more than the standard 5 stars... and Sunny Side Up B&B is one of them. My mother and I decided to take a Mother-Daughter weekend vacation together for Mother's Day weekend and stayed here. Our stay here at Sunny Side Up honestly made the entire trip. The country home is just as cheerful and bright as owner Cheryl herself. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and everything is clean and fresh. The breakfast Cheryl made was so filling and delicious. Cheryl is one of the warmest, most cheerful people I have ever met. She went above and beyond by sending us home with fresh cut lilacs for my mom (when she learned that they were her favorite flowers) and left-over breakfast to give to my husband when I raved about how good the food was and how much I wished he was with us to try everything. She is a wonderful host and her passion for entertaining guests is evident. We came here as strangers and parted as family. That's just the type of place this is. Staying here felt like going home, but better. Our entire vacation was a blast but Cheryl and the Sunny Side Up family made it truly extra special. read more

Cheryl and Adam are the best hosts. There is so much to boast about our stay. From the coziness, beautiful vintage rustic decor, surroundings . . . I wish we had an option to give more than 5 stars. if you haven't been out east to the North Folk of Long Island aka, "NoFo", then you haven't maximized your Long Island/New York experience. From beautiful landscapes complimented by pleasant personalities, a weekend here is a must do. Our stay at "SunnySide Up" in the "Over-easy" room was fantastic. The service was exceptional, personal, and nothing short of five stars. Cheryl and her crew went from strangers to family in a matter of hours. She was abreast of all the happenings in the area. I mean, Siri and Yelp are cool, but everyone at Sunny Side Up made me quickly realize why human connection and personal service trumps any data driven solution. The itinerary included a trip to a few vineyards including the famous Pindar, a barnyard dance at the Hallockville Museum Farm, a walk along a few beaches, and golf. You are not more than 5-10 minutes from all the happenings and the downtown area. This was the escape that we needed. read more

I stayed at SunnySide up the weekend before Memorial Day this year. It was my wife's 30th birthday and I wanted to take her friends for a weekend getaway at the wineries. Because I waited till the last minute, everything was sold out. As usually, I screwed up and procrastinated. SunnySide up wasn't even supposed to be opened yet, but because they heard how desperate I was to find a place, they graciously opened up for us. This house was amazing!! Not only great food. but beautiful bedrooms, with awesome air condition. I have never even written a Yelp review before, but I had to for these guys. Literally walking distance from several wineries. My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Sunny Side Up! Everything about our stay was fantastic-- 1. Cheryl and Louie were such warm and accommodating hosts. She reached out ahead of time to check on any dietary restrictions for breakfast. They offered their bikes for us to check out the wineries and provided great recommendations for the area. We loved chatting with them! 2. The food was AMAZING-- easily some of the best home-cooked breakfasts I've had in a while. We ate until we were absolutely stuffed, and there was still more to go around. 3. We stayed in the Florentine and slept well both nights. Our room was super comfortable and clean. 4. The B&B itself was cute and in a great location. They have a nice porch and back deck with lots of seating. It was a little cold by Oct, but I could see it being a relaxing place to kick back in the summer. Since it's right on Main Rd, it was easy to get to a bunch of different wineries-- I think there must've been at least 10 within a 15 min drive (25-30 min bike ride). Apple picking is within walking distance, too. We will definitely be back! read more

Perfect spot to stay for a wine tasting weekend in the North Fork. Cheryl, the owner, gives the place the family touch that makes it feel like home. She is so knowledgeable about the North Fork as well and her recommendations for meals and vineyards were way better than everything I found on my own. The rooms are charming, clean and surprisingly affordable. But, the best part, which should be a calling card for Cheryl is the breakfast. Holy moly. She put together a spread the next morning that was mind boggling. We could have sat there all day. Will definitely return. You don't have to think twice about this place. read more
