We have taken two classes so far, and it's been 1:1 session with Sean, who I think (at the minimum) is the manager. He is very friendly and patient. I appreciated his approachable demeanor because both times he worked with something my LO had not been exposed to before, which is great. My daughter didn't want to leave each time. Sean is still fine tuning the program from discussing it with him, but given the 1:1 attention, I suspect it'll continue to cater to each child's interest/development. I had the very unfortunate opportunity to use them to complete a 9 month course and Bill, Craig, Elke and the team are fantastic. VERY helpful, understanding, and willing to work with you. Yeah there are charges for missed or rescheduled appointments but it's as clear as day when you sign up. If you took a minute to see how much work goes into keeping all that scheduling straight maybe you'd understand. If I ever had to do that again (God forbid) I'd 100% choose this place.

Like all of you, I was new to acting at some point. With me, it came later in life. I was already a…read morevery successful entrepreneur and internationally published photographer before deciding on a new career path which ultimately lead me to ASOOC. So I decided to give this studio a shot being so close to me and not having to drive to LA more than I was already doing for other classes and auditions. What I found was a very friendly and knowledgeable staff with everything you could ask for in an acting school. Although still relatively new to acting, in my short 18 months I've landed a highly reputable talent agent, was the principal role in 2 national commercials, and was cast as a supporting role in an upcoming feature film by a major studio. I'm currently going on network auditions 2-3 times a month and have built a rather impressive resume thus far. All of this is because of the core basics I have learned at ASOOC. Without my acting technique, I would not be where I'm at today with so much more to learn and show. Their 7 Pillars of Acting technique has grounded my performance in every way possible allowing me to be in the moment under any circumstance presented to me. I went to coastline beauty College for a pedicure. The school looks so broken down inside. The day…read morebefore I had been to Paul Mitchell to have my roots done. So you can imagine the shock of walking into this place. The price online was different than what they told me. Twice as much. It was a very hot day and I asked, "do you have AC". They turned on a fan on and turned it toward me. They didn't have a big pedicure chair to sit in where you put your feet down into a bath of water. They had a movable thing that they sit on and then I put my feet on it. I also put my feet in a bucket of water below me. The first girl that worked on me couldn't even cut my toenails with the clippers. My nails are not difficult to cut. An older gentleman had to take over and he pinched me with the clippers. Luckily. no skin was broke. The instructor was standing there when I said, "Ouch" and she didn't even blink or even apologize.This gentleman didn't even know how to put the nail polish on so when I got home, I had to cover my nails with more polish. Not sure if it's worth going back to this place. I would pay double the price at my nail person and get better service and not have to drive so far. I was the only person getting my nails done and there was a gentleman getting a five dollar haircut. No other customers. That should've told me something. There were quite a few supervisors just sitting around and eating. One last thing, I don't know how this the school gets accredited. I think if the health department walked in, they would be closed.
