Despite having been back in the granite state for over 3 years now, I hadn't exactly gotten around to visiting an actual "farm-to-fork" local grocery store until now. Primarily due to the fact that I normally pick up fresh eggs from my bestie in Derry, I ended up searching for a contingency plan in the event she was already sold out on her end. Such was the case today. First, a caveat: if you're happening by this store southbound, the parking lot entrance will be the second turn on the right just past the store itself. It can be a little confusing due to the second logo sign on the side of the warehouse building which, to newcomers, may appear to be an entrance point. I have no idea if and what they keep back there (probably just extended storage), but from what I could ascertain, the main store is the smaller building in the center of it all. Naturally, the interior is (like I said) small and pretty unassuming, if I'm being entirely accurate. What you see is what you get and this is a good thing. Because everything looked pretty fresh and tasty to me. I possess neither the space nor memory to recall every last item they have here. But in addition to extra large fresh eggs, they also feature baked goods (to include my all time favorite - FUDGE!!) and real maple syrup. That's right! None of that synthetic, overly sugary crap for us true New Englanders. This, and other grocery stores like it, are the places we go when we want true, authentic maple syrup. So anyways, I was here for the eggs. Now, I may be writing this review prematurely since I haven't exactly tasted the eggs yet. But from what I can tell, this place is legit. They even have Apple and Google pay, which actually surprised me. The Yelp page didn't list this as a viable option at the time of writing this review. I will certainly be submitting an update recommendation to the powers that be. The staff were quite friendly and approachable. Didn't really stay long to chat or anything though. Those were just my first impressions. The location is tucked away, but easy to get to. It also appears they have quite the local following. So, I definitely will return. At some point, I'd really like to get my hands on that peanut butter fudge and genuine maple syrup. Can't really recommend this place any harder for picking up fresh produce and treats. Been here a few times for their excellent ice cream, but tonight was the first time I've tried their corn... best corn on the cob that I've ever had. So flavorful, and the corn was falling right off the cob. read more

Adorable farm stand in Londonderry that has an array of gluten-free baked goods, including cider donuts! Fall time in New England means hot apple cider, pumpkin patches and apple picking. My family went late in the Macintosh season and ventured to the furthest row of trees in the orchard to find apples. A bit of a hike but worth the distance. The store had so many freshly baked goods to choose from but was out of gluten-free cider donuts that day. We scored gluten-free apple crisp and delicious cider instead. The regular donuts were served outside at the window, after purchasing a donut ticket inside first. They make rainbow bagels worth checking out! There was one row of parking in front and additional parking across the street and around the corner. read more

Went the other day to pick blueberries. Parking is great, no issues. Signage is great, tells you exactly where to go. At the stand, tell them what you want, they'll give you a bucket, and will point you to their best picking areas. Fields are trim and neat, easy to pick. We noticed the beautiful cherry trees ... red, yellow and orange colors ... don't worry, young George Washington was not there with his axe! Prices were reasonable, and help were over the top friendly! Going back tomorrow! read more

I picked blueberries here. Blueberries were delicious. However, the area that they were growing in had tall grass and I picked up a tick. I would be happier if they trimmed the grass around the blueberry bushes. I checked out the store, but I didn't find anything that I wanted to purchase. read more

So cute! First parking lots, goats outside and you can do the typical pay to feed them ans they are very friendly. There is pick your own flowers, blueberries and raspberries. We stopped for maple products and were not disappointed! Everything from hot cider donuts to local beers and jewelry! Definitely worth a stop in, something for everyone. My bestfriend and I came here and had a wonderful time! We were able to take many cute pumpkin patch and apple picking photos! You need to buy a minimum of 5lbs if you want to go Apple picking but it's only 10 dollars which is not a bad deAl. We were flying out of NH so we didn't want to carry all those apples with us, but we bought a few and they were delicious. The cute market inside has amazing seasonal goodies and the apple cider donuts are a must try. The service was amazing and The Whole farm was sooooooo cute! If you go apple pick do not cross the street just go right behind where the pumpkin patch is, because that's where we saw waaaay more apples. read more

I have not purchased fruit, nor do I intend to pick apples. I go strictly for the baked goods. They have priced themselves out of the market. Their banana bread with walnuts is $11.50 a loaf! That is ridiculous, when the loaf without is $3.95. Of course hubby got me with, as he knows I love my bread with walnuts, but the price is ridiculous. We will no longer be shopping there. Market Basket has delicious banana bread for much cheaper. The staff are very pleasant, but the owners seem very greedy. The ice cream was so high, we passed. We can afford anything we want, but it's the principle of being over highly charged that offends me. read more

I adore this place. If you're a PYO fan, you need to stop by! Not only is it just a quick hour drive from Boston off I-93, I loved their variety and that we were able to pick strawberries, blueberries and cherries all in one visit. Prices per pound were very reasonable and maybe even slightly cheaper than the supermarket, yet you're getting much fresher fruit right off the vines, trees and bushes. The fields are plentiful and there aren't hoards of people on top of each other like it is in some of the other very commercialized orchards. Highly recommended as a great summer pastime for all and we continued our berry fun by making some yummy baked goodies from our harvest :) read more

One of the best fruit picking experiences I've ever had. We did the cherries today and they tasted sweet and great. It is not too touristy yet and so plenty of parking and I like that they do not have playgrounds and such which bring a lot of crowds with kids which can be stressful with some of the other farms I've been to in the past. It's easy to buy a carton and they do not follow you suspiciously afterwards like I have seen with some other farms, they go by the honor system which makes for a better experience and better experiences by people means more visits in the future which my girlfriend and I will definitely be doing more of. read more

Sunnycrest is my favorite farm. The little store is awesome - they sell apples, applie pie, fresh apple cider donuts (DELICIOUS), and amazing chocolate milk (among fudge, maple sugar products, and many other things). It's cute and homey and makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I prefer picking apples here over any other orchard. For some reason, they just taste better. The people who work on the farm are amazing - I've run into them a few times out in the orchard and they're always so generous and happy. You can tell they are passionate about the apples and I want to hug them all :) read more

This is one of the best orchards I have ever been to. They have a wonderful selection of fruit from spring to late fall, along with other items to peak ones interest. The best part? They're not that expensive either! They are totally reasonable for all you get. And hot apple cider, yum. read more

One of life's great delights is picking blueberries and other fruit in the fields behind the barn/store. Peach trees, sugary-sweet Concord grapes, you name it.... It's so peaceful and hauling all the good stuff home makes everybody happy. They have immense PIY strawberry fields that ripen in June or July, and are equally good. If you don't mind crouching or crawling on your knees, they are well mulched with dry straw. Big, red gems are under every leaf. The owners are old-time Londonderry folks holding onto one of the few remaining farms, so please go there. read more

This is such a great farm! The employees are all exceptionally friendly. I have been here for apple picking in the fall and blueberry picking in the summer. Despite the fact that the parking lots were overflowing for blueberry picking, there was plenty of space for everyone. I never felt crowded by anyone. We picked 3.5lbs of blueberries, which cost $12. There was a plentiful amount of blueberries and apples to pick during my visits. There is a nice farm stand inside with lots of produce and baked goods. My son also really enjoys visiting with the goats. We will be back many more times! read more

We were bored on a Saturday afternoon and said, "Let's go apple-picking!" Sunnycrest was one of many around where we were, so we randomly chose it - and I'm glad we did! The orchard is pretty vast with a huge variety of apples. In addition to having reasonable prices for the pick-your-own apples, they have a nice little store that sells all sorts of produce, bread, maple syrup, cider, etc. It is just so adorable and perfect. In the end, the only regret I have is that I forgot to try their cider doughnuts! I've heard they're fabulous and I will be back someday to try one! read more

I came here for the first time this year when Apple Acres in Windham closed up shop for good. Mac's down the street is a laughable excuse for a fun, fall excursion with their "apple police" so I wanted something more traditional like Apple Acres offered. The pick your own options here were very good with a large variety of apples available, a small petting zoo and outdoor seating. The farm itself features their own home made doughnuts, pressed cider, sodas and baked goods, plus a large variety of cheeses, syrup, honey and vegetables. While not as sizeable or picturesque as Apple Acres, it is a very solid local choice for PYO and a morning or afternoon engaging in that old fashioned New England tradition. read more

Driving by and couldn't resist stopping for apple cider doughnuts. By far the best around. Not heavy and dense like other orchards. These are light and fluffy with perfect flavor. Fresh out of the fryer. Soo good! Also bought a bunch of fresh veggies and a pie. Looks like my diets shot. read more

We went to get pumpkins and fall treats. They had a few nice pumpkin patches, squash bins and mums outside. The prices were good, especially for the "gourd" items. Inside there was a good variety of items and nicely displayed. They had fresh milk and eggs, jams (sugar was the third ingredient in most cases, yeah!), some pastry, gourmet candy, maple products and decorations. The decorative gourds were 50 cents each so it was easy to get a bunch. It rained while we were shopping so we didn't get to tour the orchard. They had a few goats and a sheep with a pretty good sized pen to run around in. read more

Coming from the city, its nice to walk around and pick fruit. Its currently strawberry season but it ends around July fourth and blueberries kick in. The cherries ate also in season. They have other fruits such as apples and so forth. Keep in mind the picking hours are 7 to noon. read more

No big bag is allowed in the farm. in may case, a bag fit A4 is what they called "big bag". If you are a mom like me who has young kids and has to carry all kids stuffs around all the time, don't even bother to bring you kids here. For PYO apple, Currier orchard in Merrimack is our go to place. It's small and nice. The cider is the best. For small petting zoo, McQuesten Farm in Litchfield is better. Also, 5 minutes drive down the road toward south from McQuesten, there is a nice open playground which my kids love. read more
