    Dory waiting to be seen

My visit at Sunnymead veterinary clinic has been nothing but positive. From the very first phone call , I was greeted by professional office staff , I was quickly scheduled for the next day. At day of appointment, office staff was busy but I was acknowledged right away. Dory ( dachshund) was taken back and vet tech was super friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Minutes later Dory was Seen by Dr Kim who was attentive, informative and answered all my concerns. Based on this sole experience i would recommend this clinic to my friends . I plan on transferring Dory's care here as well.

I called after I woke up to a deceased pet, receptionist was very kind and empathetic during the call and at drop off. Price was reasonable at 70$ less than nearby places and open Saturday. I only used the cremation services; However, given the care they provided me with my shoe box full of dead snake, I'd definitely recommend taking your breathing pets . I was expecting 2 weeks turnaround and a sandwich bag of ashes given the price difference and the fact that my pet had no paws... She was ready 1 week later and pick up was just as heart warming and compassionate. She was in a small cedar box, wrapped in a nice royal blue bag (blue was her favorite color) with a cremation certificate, bereavement literature and a surprise keepsake. I cried at every interaction because I'm a crybaby, but once I saw the imprint of her tail I lost it . Stafreally went above and beyond with this one... Can't wait for the next pet to to die so I can recommend lol. RIP Woody .

I would give this place a 0 star If I could.... I do not recommend this place I understand that you have to wait to get prices after the diagnosis but to want to put your dog under just to check his ear. that is so wrong. I was looking though the window as they are calling me telling me that my dog was not letting doctor see his ear o could see my dog sitting there calmly and I told them I could come in and hold him and they would not have it . See pictures below you can se him just siting there with a muzzle Bering so good pictures below are of my dog sorry little blurry but you can see his not agresiva at all

If you have a service animal, a medically necessary animal, or anything time-sensitive... please read this. My family spent seven months preparing our service dog -- a $35,000 trained medical assistance animal -- for international travel. We've traveled with him to 16 countries using USDA-certified vets with zero issues. We trusted All Paws Riverside Animal Hospital with the Japan and Hawai'i processes. We followed every instruction. We completed every blood draw, titer test, appointment, and document. We spent thousands of dollars. And then everything fell apart. Behind the scenes, things were not what they seemed. The Japan certificate was submitted incorrectly and rejected by USDA. The office had all paperwork and deadlines months in advance. The Hawai'i certificate required multiple corrections because staff, not the veterinarian whose license was used, were filling out legal sections. We were asked for information the veterinarian should have been responsible for. Worst part? We learned by accident -- not from the office -- that the Japan certificate had been rejected. And only afterward were we told the veterinarian responsible had actually been on medical leave during the process. That meant: No qualified oversight. No chance to fix errors in time. And months of preparation became useless overnight. It got worse when we tried to get answers. When we came into the office to understand what happened, the situation escalated in a way I never expected. In my experience, the office manager, Jeri, raised her voice at me and spoke in a way that felt aggressive and completely unprofessional. I left in tears -- shaken, embarrassed, and without answers. I have never been screamed at in a veterinary setting in my life. It added trauma to an already devastating situation. Then--silence. When we later requested a refund for services that were never successfully completed, the office stopped responding. Eventually, they terminated care for our entire family of pets instead of addressing what happened. No accountability. No ownership. No attempt to make it right. Why I'm writing this. I'm not sharing this out of anger. I'm sharing it because someone else will trust this office the way we did -- with their pet's health, their money, and their family's well-being. If your animal's medical, behavioral, or travel needs require accuracy and oversight, please choose a clinic that takes those responsibilities seriously. I wish someone had warned us. No family -- and no service animal -- should ever go through this.

I thought I was going to lose him, and I felt like the little bit of joy I had left in my life was slipping away. But this hospital gave me something I'll never forget -- hope. From the very first moment, they treated my puppy with such care and dedication, and they treated me with compassion, kindness, and understanding. They didn't just see a sick puppy; they saw how much he meant to me, and they fought for him as if he were their own. This past year has been difficult for me -- I lost my mom, I've struggled with depression and health challenges -- and in the middle of all that, I found people here who reminded me that true goodness and humanity still exist. Alex, in particular, showed me patience and kindness that went beyond medicine. It touched me deeply and reminded me that I wasn't alone in this. Because of them, my puppy is still here with me. He's recovering, finding his strength, and showing me every day how resilient love can be. I will carry the gratitude I feel for Moreno Valley Animal Hospital with me for the rest of my life. They didn't just save my puppy -- they gave me back hope. If you are looking for a place that truly cares about pets and the families who love them, this is where you'll find it. With love : BEAN

The vets were measured in the tests they ordered, knowing that my 89-year-old aunt was on a fixed income. They had a plan, x-ray 1st, which told us a bit more, then bloodwork. The shining star of this clinic is Eileen, 16 year veteran vet tech. before sending out the blood sample ($300) she did a quick blood sugar test and analyzed the blood viaually. She came to the waiting room to let us know that the dogs blood sugar was so high their machine could not register it. She indicated that we could take the dog home, but survival was unlikely, without serious medical intervention, in the hospital ($3,000). After that, we could address the kidney and liver issues. We did not ask for a urine analysis. She did it because her years of experience told her that it would be a wise move. At that point, we discussed the reality of euthanasia. Why does this matter? Because any other vet would have sent out the blood work, then we would have gone back the next day to discuss it. They did not charge us for the blood draw or urine analysis, which enabled my aunt to pay for private cremation. They stayed an hour past closing to complete the procedure. This clinic is NOT greedy. Instead, they are truly caregivers. Thank you Eileen. You are worth your weight in GOLD.

NEVER GO HERE. Absolute cash grab. They do not care about your pet!!!!!!…read moreThey gave us * False hope * Thousands in charges (2k) * A dying dog left suffering * A rushed search for another hospital * And still lost a beloved family member We came in about two weeks ago because our dog appeared to have food poisoning. The staff recommended a long list of treatments, and because this dog was family to us, we agreed to everything they suggested if it meant he had a chance to recover. Before approving nearly $2,000 worth of treatment, I repeatedly asked the veterinarian (a Hispanic male vet) what the chances were that our dog would survive with these treatments. Instead of being honest or transparent, he avoided the question every single time and refused to give any realistic expectations. They told us to come back at closing because our dog "needed extra treatment hours." We came back at 5 PM exactly as instructed. Then they pushed it again and told us to return at 7 PM because the "extra hours would really help." Naturally, we believed them. We thought our dog was improving. He wasn't. When we returned at 7 PM, the vet casually informed us that none of the treatments had worked and that we now needed to rush our dying dog to an emergency hospital to be euthanized because THEY were closing. So after wasting our entire day, draining us emotionally and financially, they suddenly decided there was nothing more they could do -- yet somehow couldn't tell us that earlier? They couldn't even provide humane end-of-life care for a suffering animal in their own clinic. To make matters worse, while my family was devastated and trying to process losing our dog, they still slipped random charges onto the bill, including a flea and tick collar that had absolutely nothing to do with the reason we came in. This place is disgusting. Completely unprofessional, dishonest, and emotionally manipulative. I would never trust them with another animal, and I genuinely hope nobody else has to experience what we went through.

Headline: Life-Threatening Negligence and Fraudulent Charting - Do Not Trust This Clinic…read moreI am writing this as a medical professional who had to perform my own clinical audit to save my dog from this office's incompetence. My dog, Twinkie, was failed by Dr. Mean and her staff on multiple levels: 1. Fraudulent Documentation & Lack of Physical Exam: The records claim Dr. Mean performed a heart exam on Twinkie. This is a blatant lie; she never even touched my dog. Furthermore, a covering vet performed a suture removal but failed to document any of the clinical concerns we raised. Vitals that were taken by a tech on an intake form were never entered into the formal medical record. 2. Misdiagnosis & Dangerous Over-Medication: Despite Twinkie showing clear signs of anaphylaxis right in front of the staff, they "shrugged it off" and insisted she was having syncope (fainting) due to heart failure. Without proper diagnostics, they jumped straight to a heavy cocktail of Enalapril and Vetmedin and Furosemide. 3. Intentional Withholding of Records: I believe this office intentionally stalled sending my records to the cardiologist. Once they realized a specialist would be reviewing their "work," they likely realized they had jumped the gun. Because they failed to provide the records, I had to act as my own investigator. 4. The Proof is in the Recovery: After connecting the dots myself, I realized the Enalapril was dropping her blood pressure below baseline and the Furosemide was dangerously dehydrating her. I made the clinical decision to stop the medications. Within 24 hours of being off their "treatment," Twinkie was back to her old self--active and barking. A subsequent exam by a different, competent veterinarian confirmed she is healthy, her heart is fine, and she never needed the medication. Final Word: If I hadn't used my own medical background to challenge their narrative, their "treatment" for a non-existent heart condition would have killed my dog. Their clinical notes are vague, their charting is dishonest, and their diagnostic skills are non-existent. Go elsewhere.
