Visited on a Friday afternoon. Tucked away into a plaza, next to Planet Fitness. Inside is very open and airy. Booths along with tables and chairs line the place with a counter in the back. Bathrooms are all the way down along the hallway to the left. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Told to sit anywhere. Waitress asked if we've been there before we hadn't. She explained that they have a coffee menu in addition to full breakfast and lunch all day. Waitress was nice. She would check in on us throughout our stay. They had a special's menu and I went with the s'mores iced latte. It was served in a beautiful fluted glass. Topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I really didn't get a lot of coffee flavor? It just tasted more like chocolate. Got the berryFrench toast. The French toast wasn't too thick bread wise. But also wasn't thin toast either, perfect sized toast. It was beautifully displayed, along with the compote and berry toppings. So delicious! Did not have the taste of it being cooked with 20 other menu items on a flat top. My husband got the bass omelette which included kielbasa. That was absolutely delicious! You do not see kielbasa a lot especially in an omelette. The kielbasa had a great smoky flavor and the omelette was a good portion. The tater tots were crunchy and flavorful. Our meal came out quick and hot and able to keep moving with our day. read more

Good service, nice and clean space. We ordered our food and no exaggeration - the food was delivered to our table 2 minutes later. I really don't know how that's possible unless everything was just premade and quickly heated. The food was decent. Prices were a bit steep but I'm ok with supporting a small business and spending a few bucks more. It's really just an elevated Coney Island at the end of the day. read more

First time eating at Sunny's and will definitely be back. Loved the aesthetic, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful and service was quick. I had The Avo Toast with potatoes and my mother had scrambled eggs with tater tots and bacon. We were both very satisfied with our meals and the cafe selections are a really nice addition. The only negative was my coffee was served in a glass cup and it was very hot to the touch and kind of inconvenient to drink out of until it cooled down. Otherwise 5 stars! read more

Ordered take out, didn't even take 10 minutes for it to be ready. I got the steak burrito and their Presley French toast!!! Even for take out the presentation for the French toast was amazing. It was loaded with bananas and covered in peanut butter greatness. And the burrito was packed full of juicy steak. It was a good amount of food, I ate half at first then came back for later. Next time I'll have to slow down and take pictures of my food! I seriously cannot wait to get another cheat meal from my coach, so I can eat here again! read more

Second time coming and this time I ordered the Calabri and Zack ordered the bacon burrito. We went on a Saturday hour before close and they were pretty dead, they were cleaning up for the day but place was still clean. The Calabri was very good and flavorful like I said before everything was different than the normal breakfast/lunch it was more gourmet. Staff was super nice and friendly. Will be back. read more

Decided to try out Sunny's the other day after we heard about them on a few social media sources. Inside is very spacious and new, even still smells like fresh paint. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Sat down and ordered a couple standard coffees, I say standard because they do have cafe style coffees like cappuccino and macchiatos, but we opted for normal coffee. Nice thing is the coffee comes in normal size mugs, not the half size coffee mugs most restaurant have where you run out of coffee in 5 minutes. Coffee itself was ok, nothing spectacular. I order the kicker omelette and my wife had the day off omelette. I also got a side of sausage links, and got sourdough toast. My wife subbed her toast for pancakes for a little up charge. My wife said the pancakes were really good! I was very happy that they offered sourdough as a toast option. The sausage links, they were just normal links that you get everywhere, nothing special, but they had an off smell that I couldn't place. They tasted fine but the smell was weird. My wife didn't notice it so it may have just been me. So I got the kicker omelette. Essentially and omelette stuffed with chicken, jalapeños and Muenster cheese with a spicy crema sauce on top. The sauce was good, I liked the spiciness of it. The rest of the omelette was good, but I felt it lacking a variety of ingredients. Like it was STUFFED with chicken, and then a couple jalapeños with sliced Muenster cheese, but it was like too much chicken since there were no other ingredients. In my opinion it could have lost some of the chicken, and added in onions and green peppers to help give more depth of flavor as it kind of got boring after half the omelette was eaten. My wife had the Day Off omelette. Essentially bacon, sausage and cheddar cheese inside an omelette covered with sausage gravy. The gravy was good. She also added onions to the omelette. Her problem was that both the onions and the bacon had some burned bits that gave the omelette a bitter taste, and she had the same issue that the omelette was kind of single noted towards flavor and got boring half way through. Now both of our omelettes came with their diced potatoes. When they first came out we were excited because they were different as they are made similar to how seasoned tavern fries are made where the outside is a crispy seasoned crust if you will. To be honest, they were good. Our issue was after a couple of bites, although being good, we realized it wasn't the type of potatoes we wanted for breakfast. We would have preferred hash browns or another type of flat top cooked potatoes, which unfortunately is not an available option at Sunny's, their only option are these potatoes or tater tots, both fried options. So all in all although we had issues with most of what we ate, I am hopeful for them and will probably return "eventually" to try some of their other options to see if they are better. read more

New place in strip mall by Planet Fitness. I had the bacon burrito with enchilada sauce. Good and very filling. Filled with bacon, eggs, potatoes, onions, peppers, and cheese. My daughter had French toast and said it was good. We both had water so cannot comment on the coffee but they had some options other than your regular cup of joe.
