Good food, great patio service on a Saturday. Pretty standard menu offerings, definitely get the blueberry and lemon pancakes with bacon! Nicely upscale corner diner.

Always gone to the Corner House for breakfast and it has always been amazing. Tried the fish tacos for lunch because its Friday and lent. 10/10 amazing fish was perfectly crispy and flaky. The sauce on top was not too spicy and great! Way better than same old fish sandwich. The same old fish.

Good food and good service. My friend said the coffee was burnt but he loved the sausage patties. I got my usual egg whites and rye toast. They have the good thick rye toast that I really like. I would definitely come here again. They also have an outdoor patio that was enclosed completely

I came here with another yelper to check this fancy place out this week and we both kind of had mixed feelings about our experience here. I will say, walking in, I *loved* the décor and how this place looks. Freshly updated throughout. Loved it! After getting seated, I reviewed the menu and was torn between the nachos (appetizer) and a gyro pita wrap. I went with the gyro because nachos sounded like so much food at that moment. It did take me a couple minutes to really decide what I wanted for some reason. Ok, so here's where they started to lose points. Everything was great up until now. I mean, don't get me wrong, we personally were having a blast chatting. But, behind our booth there was what sounded like a milkshake machine that was constantly being used. It was super loud and quite annoying. It was really disruptive. Ok, fine, we just tuned it out. Secondly, because we took so long to decide what to get (mostly me) our server kind of quit coming over to the table. We tried to flag down another waitress, but no luck. Eventually she did come back over to take our order, thank goodness! Food was tasty but for what they charge, we kind of felt it was a bit scrimpy. Unless you get one of their dinner entree's, no sides are included with anything else. It's ala carte. I didn't feel like ordering fries because I assumed the dinner portion was going to be on the larger side and didn't want leftovers. I kind of wish I had ordered sweet potato fries later on, but I don't have any regrets. Portions felt a bit small for what they charge. I figured if I had gotten a drink and a side, my bill probably would have been closer to $20. They have booze here as well, which I was super excited about! Overall, I like this place but in closing, prices don't match the portions. Most stuff's ala carte and plan on dropping a solid $20 after tip. It's not a huge deal but really. Make the portions bigger, give me something I can't get somewhere else. It's a gyro wrap man. Make it a special gyro wrap or something fancy like that, ya know? Overall I would gladly return here, but probably get a smaller dish, or maybe breakfast next time! Thank you Corner House.

I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. I never think of it until I'm driving by though. Today we planned to meet up for brunch so I suggested going here. This was a very small place that likely was a fast food restaurant in the past. The space is doubled with a nice outdoor patio. We decided to sit at the bar and of course, I had to order a mimosa. They have a happy hour menu, and plenty of alcohol so they are able to make you a drink but they do not have a bartender, so it would have to be simple. The servers were all extremely pleasant and we enjoyed being there. The food was delicious. We enjoyed a build your own omelette, where you can choose 1 protein, two veggies, and one cheese. We chose Ham, mushrooms, spinach, and feta. This was served with hash browns and toast. We also ordered a southern breakfast Burrito. Our food was phenomenal! We absolutely loved it here and would come back again!

Located at the northeast corner of 25 mile and Shelby road; it's a much smaller and modern brunch spot and it's beautiful inside. The southwest omelette is delicious, I would recommend it. I can't say it's my favorite one but it's good enough to make the trip for it. The chocolate chip pancakes are fantastic. We got here pretty early on a Wednesday and there were only a few other folks inside. The servers are very nice as well. The prices seem to be on par with other breakfast spots but again, got charged nearly $2 to add chocolate chips which made the kids meal almost $9.

This used to be the Shelby Coney, same owners, new look & new menu! Still diner food, with nothing priced over $13! Took my mom there for breakfast, and we both had omelettes, which were fantastic. The place was packed, probably since it wasn't open for 1.5 years while renovating. People really missed them, and it showed. The interior is smart & fresh, and word on the street is they'll be serving beer and wine soon. Parking lot is weird, but won't keep anyone away.

I really enjoyed it. The food is good, restaurant is new (at least within the last three years). Very clean and the service is outstanding. I had a cup of potato soup, excellent, left the plastic from the crackers on the table--gone by my third spoonful. The slip Jim was tasty with a soft bun. Only criticism was the bowl for the baby Greek. This will sound strange but the bowl was too small, the salad size was perfect but with the bowl you couldn't dig down in the salad, I was halfway done before I found the beets (my favorite salad topping). I should mention the beets were diced not sliced (I prefer slices). Also note-NOT OPEN ON MONDAYS. I will be back.

Just OK-We got a seat right away but needed some time to look at the menu. Got our drinks then waited... finally got the waitress to take our order. Had a chicken wrap which tasted ok, but the sides are al carte so add $3-4 per side to an already overpriced entree. Overall, it was an okay experience

I sat at the bar where Mae very thoughtfully helped me navigate through the extensive been menu. I was very impressed at the selections! She brought me three tasters and, honestly, each of them were fantastic. It seems fitting that I chose a pint of Conflict of Interest in the midst of a difficult decision! The food menu is just as impressive. I'm certain anyone can find a favorite. I ordered the blackened chicken gnocchi and found myself in flavor heaven. I've made and eaten a lot of gnocchi and this is easily the best I've ever had. Mae agreed with me and suggested it's because there's cheese in those potato pillows. I dunno but I would eat this every day if I could. If I thought they'd keep, I'd buy extra and take some home. Meanwhile the bar crowd was friendly and chatty as we watched soccer on a few TVs. It was pretty chill, everyone just kicking back with great beer, tasty food and a worldwide sporting event. That said, I'm not waiting four years to come back!

Sat outside most recently and brought our toddler. She got to run around and explore. The fineapple cider on draft is my favorite and so refreshing. Menu wise has so many options. So impressed with all of their drinks they make in house. Came another time for dinner with a friend to catch up. A large group took over the dining room. Stayed way past they were done with their food and drink. They stayed 5 hours and disrupted the restaurant. Our waitress gave us a small discount for how annoying these people were. She said staff were even over them.

Our food ended up taking forever to come out so we were rushed to hurry up and eat and leave when it came out. For appetizers we got the chips and dip and salads. The dip had a long piece of hair in it and we immediately sent it back and the waiter looked at us like we were crazy for not wanting it. The salads were pretty good - big portion with lots of fresh toppings and dressing. For entrees we got the buffalo chicken sandwiches and the grilled chicken plate. My mom asked for no buffalo and it came with buffalo on it so she didn't love it. Mine on the other hand was pretty average. It was a large portion and had a good amount of toppings on it that altogether was very flavorful. I did ask for ranch on the side when i ordered and it took awhile for it to come out. The chicken plate was just about the only good dish we had. It came with a good spread of well prepared food and was a healthy option on the menu. The worst part of this experience was when we asked for bags for left overs the waiter told us to go get it ourselves so we had to awkwardly go behind the bar to grab it. Overall the service was terrible- everyone was rude. The food was slightly above average but with the hair in it and messing up our orders i would not recommend. Even though this is in prime location there are so many better options in the area. I could see this place having potential for coming for drinks with all the tvs or on the rooftop in the summer but thats about it.
