Last Tuesday my boyfriend and I decided to have a breakfast date since we were in the area! It has been years since I was last at First Watch and he has never been before. The menu is simple but has a lot to offer. My boyfriend can be picky so he opted for the trifecta- bacon, eggs and a Belgium waffle. Yum! Can't go wrong with any of those! He said the waffle was very fluffy and the best he has ever had. The hot syrup is a nice touch! I had the breakfast tacos, which I am still thinking about two days later! Can't wait to go back soon! We wanted to take the babies out to eat some breakfast this morning. I suggested First Watch because I really liked the other location. We saved a spot in line on the website. We were seated immediately and they helped us get some high chairs as well. We were able to move the bench back in order to fit both high chairs. They also have boostet seats as an option. Our waiter was super nice and gave us a kids menu. When I ordered the pancake, I was not expecting a massive pancake! This pancake was the size of the plate and the kids only ate a quarter of it. They are only 11 months old. I ordered the Floridian French Toast and my husband did as well. The jam that comes with it is so delicious. They both had so much fruit all other the french toast. My father in law got the traditional breakfast. We were going to let the babies try the potatoes, but they do have a little spice on them from the pepper. My father in law said they were really good though. Also, they had some unsweetened blackberry tea that they said was good. Overall, the service was great and the food was delicious. The restaurant is pretty loud, but kid friendly. I was actually happy because people couldn't really hear my babies screetching. We will definitely come back again. read more

Went to First Watch on Saturday, November 30 for breakfast and the food was not that great. They were busy but we were sat right away as the hostess was very accommodating . We asked for a booth but it needed to be wiped down. When the hostess asked the busboy to wipe it down, he visibly was upset and angry as he snatched his towel and gave us very mean look. He must have been having a bad morning but he should not have been displaying those manners to good paying customers. Next, it took at least 10 minutes before our waitress acknowledged us, we were about to leave when she came over so we decided to stay as we were famished. We ordered immediately as we didn't know how long she would take after we ordered coffee. To our dismay, my food came out first and my husband's food came out 5 minutes later. We like to eat together so I waited for his food to come out before I ate but as you know, that's a lifetime for eggs in which they did get cold. I ordered the traditional breakfast and the eggs were scrambled hard when I requested the to be scrambled very soft, and the potatoes were burnt. When I asked for more potatoes, my waitress said they were all like that but that's a lie as I seen other meals come out and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the trifecta breakfast and the pancake was lack luster. Needless to say I will not go back to this First Watch. read more

Cute little brunch place, I've been here a couple times and I usually opt for something sweet, but today I decided to try a summer seasonal brisket hash and it was pretty good. My friend got strawberry tres leches french toast and that looked so delicious. I think sweet is definitely the way to go here. The drinks are delicious and the service is good :) I've never had to wait a super long time to be seated, so you can forsure just pop in if you're nearby! Birthday breakfast with my son and he remembered this restaurant along Hall Road in Sterling Heights. They have very unique menu items and also have quite a selection of smoothies. My son ordered off of the fall menu options and his meal was called Modern Croquet Madame which was Challah bread griddled with melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack, fresh tomato and crispy bacon, then topped with a cage-free sunny-side up egg, Parmesan cream sauce and fresh herbs. Served with lemon-dressed organic mixed greens. I ordered the smoked salmon and roasted vegetable frittata and asked for it to be made with egg whites which was a small additional charge. The frittata was made with Wild Alaska Smoked Sockeye Salmon, house-roasted shallots and tomatoes topped with Parmesan, a chive cream drizzle and fresh herbs. Served with ciabatta toast and lemon-dressed organic mixed greens. We shared a bowl of the butternut squash bisque soup and it was very tasty with definitely a fall taste to it. First Watch is one of my faves and I'm always on the search for one when I travel. This location did not disappoint. Everything was yummy and my favorite drink (Purple Haze) was the best one yet. I added a wellness shot to it for a small fee. We got on the wait list before arriving and didn't have to wait long once we checked in. Service was so-so, the waiter could have been a bit quicker. Also, she brought us the wrong check and it took us forever to get hold of her to get the right one. Other than that, we had a great experience overall! read more

I am a very big fan of first watch, I often find myself here for a good breakfast the morning after a night out. The potato's are so good with some onion and flavored to perfection. I'm a big fan of French toast and they do it pretty well. The only time I had any sort of negative experience was when my friend got some poor selection of fruit and it just wasn't looking very fresh that morning. But it hasn't happened again since! The staff is also always so calm and polite as well. read more

Got takeout for brunch this early afternoon! I wish I would have taken more pictures of the food, but I was so hungry and it was so good haha! I had the Million Dollar Hash, which is a fall feature. It had bacon, squash, goat cheese among other things. I think it also had a little bit of hot honey, which, to my surprise, was really good on the eggs. My drink was called the Caramel Honey Crunch iced coffee?? Or something similar. It was very good, but very very sweet and more of a dessert coffee. Loved the high ceilings and open feel of the restaurant. It was packed but moved along. They have unique items on the menu which made it fun since it wasn't a traditional plain breakfast. Had their blueberry lemon corn bread, and their trifecta breakfast which was scrambled eggs, bacon with a special multigrain pancake (huge) made with ricotta cheese and topped with fresh lemon curd and fresh cut strawberries. They have special juice beverages and very tasty mimosas! Definitely will go again. Nice healthy choices. read more

I generally love First Watch and have eaten at a few of their locations. I've never been to this one since it's not in my typical range of driving, but I was here and hungry, so I decided to stop in. The menu was electronic only which I was fine with. I wasn't sure what to get, and asked my server for a few random ideas. I secretly wanted the breakfast tacos, but the waitress said that they don't have many options to substitute the Chrizo with something non sausage. You don't have turkey lunch meat or anything? I don't want sausage of any kind. Lots of pork based products on the menu here and hard to substitute stuff out with. I narrowed it down to the breakfast sandwich, and eagerly waited for my food to come out. When it did, I loved the way it looked and was thrilled to finally have a decent meal in front of me. But, the sandwich was a bit disappointing for a variety of reasons. First, the bun was huge. I felt like the sandwich was mostly bun. Secondly, the one egg I got inside of it was falling out because the avocado made it slippery. I tried to smush it back into the sandwich, but no such luck. After the third escape, I let the egg win and ate it separately. The only thing left in the bun after that was lettuce, mayo and some avocado-and a humungous bun. I didn't finish it because why would I eat bread with nothing in between it? I think they could have done better with the insides of the breakfast sandwich. Maybe added another egg, or offered an option to add chicken in there to hold it together? Just my two cents. The hash browns were fabulous though, and mostly filled me up. Would I go back here? Of course. But since I don't eat any pork, and a lot of the stuff here is pork based, maybe not as much as I would like. read more

Brand new addition to the Lakeside Circle and a good addition it is. They built this store next to Verizon and BJ's restaurant and Brewhouse. I went to BJ's a year ago and never returned, we went to First Watch this morning and plan on returning next week...what does that tell you. All service personnel were pleasant, well-groomed and efficient. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the '2 for you' lunch special. For $8.00 I had fresh, hot broccoli cheese soup and a delicious chicken avocado chop salad. They used fresh avocado, plenty of tasty chicken and lots of other good ingredients. Mom had eggs, potato's and biscuits and gravy; she loved it! Her meal came with two fluffy biscuits and chicken gravy. The inside is spacious with plenty of seating for both table and booths. There is plenty of parking space right outside. I already had my fill of morning coffee by the time we came here but if you come you must try a cup of their coffee; it is full-flavored and smooth. read more

This place is so clean and beautiful inside. I don't remember if there was anything at this location beforehand. We started with the morning mediation and some chocolate milk. (Restaurants should provide whole milk chocolate milk that doesn't taste like cardboard.) The bacon is fantastic. The chocolate chip pancake was huge and also very very good. The farmhouse hash had good chunks of potatoes and avocado in it. It was delicious. The prices are a bit crazy, but I guess I'm paying more to be "healthier"? read more
