Another great breakfast Sunday morning at Sunny Side had my usual chimney supreme deep-fried coffee had way too much coffee, but it was so good. Beautiful day. Try Sunny Side out. I think you'll like it. Service was awesome. Of course I took the picture late after I ate 3/4 of it.

Veggie omelet w eggs (you can select egg whites), tons of veggies w xtra mushrooms and a side of sausage. Potatoes are yummy!

Definitely add Sunnyside Breakfast to your list! Everything we've ordered has been delicious! The customer service is good too. The potatoes that come with breakfast are some of he best around!

    Flattened Chimi with bacon

We decided to try this place after a hike nearby and it did not disappoint. I got the flattened chimi with added bacon and it was fire!!! The service was amazing, and the place filled up super fast. We sat at the bar watching all the yummiest drinks go out, and it was obvious half the people there were regulars which is always a good sign. Will for sure be back!

Small index sized note regarding not taking Entertainment coupons

The food was mediocre. We ordered the Denver Omelette and it was okay, nothing amazing. You have three choices for fries, but two of the three have a seasoning so I ordered the option that was plain, tater tots. The tater tots were cooked nicely. The reason for my 1 rating has to do with customer service. When the bill came, I presented my Dining Advantage coupon that I purchased on the Dining Advantage app. You essentially pay a price ahead for the coupon and then it's suppose to give you BOGO at the establishment. The server said that they would not take the coupon and that there was a sign on the door. I asked the server where this sign was located because it definitely not something most average customers would see. On my way out, I saw the sign to the right of the door on a small little index card. Hence why most customers would not even notice it. The problem I have here is that it's now on the customer instead of the restaurant to get on Dining Advantage to get this coupon removed. Think about it, why would Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge want to be taken off their coupon program when it's clearly bringing in business (like me) and then they don't need to honor it. I think I'm just so annoyed because the coupon brought us to this restaurant and if I had known I would have gone to Red White and Brew down the street that for the same price was better food and larger portions with leftovers!

Went Friday morning before going to spring training (Go Mariners!!), had to wait maybe 10 minutes before once we were sat the waitress was on top of it! Good menu selection for a picky eater and more adventurous eaters. I got the breakfast chimi add mushrooms as well as someone else at our table. I loved it! The salsa had great flavor with almost no spice which my table mate loves because they are a baby (self admittedly) when it comes to spice. Very cute interior and dim lighting for a breakfast joint. If you're close by, you should definitely stop in!

They have a pet friendly patio.

Are there temporary hours during covid/labor shortage? Would appreciate an update on their website or here vs. having to drive all the way out there to find a sign on the door like last time :(

We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

We have been curious…read moreabout this place ever since we stopped and talked to the person seating people while we were waiting for our reservation across the street. He mentioned a pickle martini, which I ordered at lunch and was very good. My wife ordered the welcome burger and enjoyed it except for them getting the toppings wrong. Our granddaughter really liked her mac and cheese and there was a generous serving of sliced fruit. And my Jose Burger had just enough spice and was very tasty. That what's the good. So we stopped here for lunch on a Friday about 12:30 with our 3-year-old granddaughter. Our initial server barely said two words to us and we felt like we were an imposition. When we ordered my wife asked did they have Pepsi or Coke products he said we have bottles and cans of everything, so she ordered a Coke. It was Mexican Coke which is fine, but $5, and it wasn't until we noticed other people had cans of regular Coke and realized he did not give us a choice. When we ordered our burgers, again he barely said two words and did not ask us how we wanted them cooked even though the menu says cook to order. When we got them they were very rare, see the picture, which we're okay with although we would have ordered them a little more done. My wife said no onions on hers, and of course there was onions on her berger. Later we were served by a waitress who was much more friendly and we realize was probably just not there yet when we sat down, so the initial waiter didn't really care what we thought since we weren't going to be his customers at the end. So sadly what could have been a very pleasant lunch was spoiled by the initial waiter, even though the food was good we may not be back.

Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act.
