We went to celebrate my birthday, and I even got to use a buy-one-get-one-free deal they sent me... such a fun bonus! Everything I ordered was spot on. The Pomegranate Sunrise was perfectly balanced--refreshing with just the right amount of tartness, and the alcohol level was just right. I paired it with the Market Hash and Million Dollar Bacon, and wow... every bite was packed with flavor. They even offer gluten-free toast with strawberry jam, which was such a great touch! We grabbed seats at the bar which had a delightful vibe, and the bartender really made the experience--upbeat, friendly, and incredibly helpful. All in all, this visit sealed the deal. We've been to this location of First Watch a couple of times now and have had good experiences. Their menu has a variety of items including pancakes, french toast, egg dishes, lighter options, etc. as well as a kids menu. A lot to pick from for everyone. My favorites here have been the french toast and million dollar bacon. Their veggie scramble is a good option if you're looking for something that has veggies and is a bit lighter (although they do have more hearty ones too with other meat). This place is very popular! We arrived on a Friday at 10 AM and there was a short wait to get in. We love that Decker and all of the Weight staff is super friendly! The coffee is OK, it's a little dark for our taste. It's nice they give you a full carafe if you want a refill. We ordered the pancake platter with eggs and bacon. The pancakes are a wheat pancake, which I liked, but my husband didn't love. The eggs were cooked nicely and you get four pieces of tasty bacon! I ordered the frittata omelette with the salad and artisan toast and a side of two turkey sausage. My meal was very nice. The turkey sausage was pretty good, but since Don had so much bacon, I ended up taking it home. We look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu. read more

Came in with my sisters, some of our kids, and Grams!! We had a little birthday brunch. Service was a bit slow, but good. We each got different things- my turkey Club was ok. I asked for the sourdough to be toasted, and that definitely was a great addition. The sandwich was lacking in flavor. It needs something acidic like honey mustard, pickled something, or the greens to be dressed in a tangy vinaigrette. Daughter salad was good. The waitress was very attentive and making sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, though.She was very busy in her section with large parties. I had the biscuits in Turkey. Sausage gravy and eggs would roasted potatoes, meal and as for a side of gravy and that bowl, there was the side of gravy, which was way too much, but absolutely delicious. The BlackBerry iced tea, this refillable was so refreshing and delicious. I ended up having 2 glasses and the whole meal cost about 25 bucks. This mail was delicious. I didn't have to put any seasoning on anything. Potatoes, season perfectly eggs, my eggs had cheese on them seasoned perfectly, the biscuits in gravy with the sausage, perfect combination for me.That's a great sign of good cooking.When you don't have to salt or pepper to anything, you're literally just start eating and that's what I did. From the moment we sat down, our server, Von, set the tone patient enough to handle our indecisiveness (which deserves an award on its own), and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. We love this place so much yesterday we came back for breakfast today. Sierra and Vaughn were our servers yesterday and Matt was our server today. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is open and the decor is welcoming. We had the Chickichanga. It was a delicious omelette filled with chorizo, chicken and avocado. It was topped with sour cream and a pico de gallo hollandaise sauce. So far it is our favorite and one of the items that brought us back in today. We also enjoyed the million dollar potatoes and million dollar bacon. The million dollar potatoes are country potatoes, diced up with an Alfredo sauce with million dollar bacon on top. The million dollar bacon was bacon coated with maple syrup and sprinkled with black pepper. Today we ordered an extra which was the lemon blueberry cornbread. Third time was not a charm. My third sitting here. Sat at the bar, it was just me. The server was wonderful, pleasant and attentive. I ordered the steel cut oats, described as served with with a blueberry muffin; milk; brown sugar, berries, bananas, and pecans. It arrived, no berries, a thick hard clump of room temp, oats, very little milk. The muffin was cold with a sweaty top, indicating it was refrigerated or frozen and had not been warmed. I was handed my check and told to go to the cashier. No problem. I did. I waited almost 10 minutes as the hostess continued to wander around, checking in new guests, and handing out to go orders. Oblivious to those waiting to check out. The entryway was now full, she started to assist yet another walk in, so I politely stepped over and said I'd like to pay, at which point she said, okay give me a second. I didn't respond with, I've given you nearly 10 minutes. Proceeded to pay. The server should get five stars! The overall experience raised from 1 star to 2 based on the server alone. Had breakfast/lynch here today to try out this new location. Our server was very helpful and gave us great service. I had a 1/2 sandwiches and cup of Italian wedding soup. I liked the roast beef and havarti sandwich. However the soup just wasn't popping for me. It had these little tiny pasta balls instead of noodles so those were a texture thing for me I couldn't get past. The 2 tiny meatballs that were in it tasted like they were freezer burned? I don't know the soup just wasn't working. Luckily my daughter was hungry and ate it so we didn't waste food. I should have stuck with a solid breakfast option. I had the pleasure of grabbing breakfast here this morning. I walked in about 20 minutes after they opened, so the place was pretty open seating wise, and I was quickly nestled into my one person booth within minutes. I ordered their purple haze drink, a long with the elevated egg sandwich. The drink was phenomenal! Sweet, and a bit tart. Just what I never knew I needed. My food was also delicious. The gruiere cheese really made it. The sandwich came with a side of potatoes, which were indeed seasoned to perfection, as the menu claims. My server, Jasmine, was fantastic. Now the reason why it took me so long to visit this place, is location! It's in the middle of a bunch of other business sharing the same parking lot. They recently opened this First Watch in Queen Creek and we had to stop in. It's one of our favorite places when we're in N Mesa and I knew this would be no different. We sat at the bar per usual and Jasmen took our orders. We both opted for something different this time, both off the 2 For You Menu. I choose the 1/2 sandwich of the Market Veggie & the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad while my friend ordered the Ham and Gruyère Melt & the Cobb Salad. Both were amazing! Unlike the one on Power in Mesa, this one has a bit longer hours and is open until 2:30. We'll definitely be back. There are so many options on the menu that I'm still drooling over. read more

They are getting some kinks out with the staff and the menu just logistically, but overall, I think that they will be fine, the management is very nice and very helpful the staff is great and the place looks beautiful. favorite breakfast restaurant experience finally happened! Months ago, I heard my favorite breakfast restaurant was moving to Queen Creek. I was elated to find out that it was right in between where I work and where I live and perfectly/ inconveniently located on the way to and from. I have been on the VIP experience list for quite some time, and as I patiently waited for news about when it was opening, I was emailed this past weekend and invited to the soft opening where my family and I enjoyed three, free meals at the new restaurant. Everything is gorgeous, clean, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely new looking/modern and chic in decor. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a whole team of friendly and upbeat individuals. We were escorted to a table right away since we had a reservation. They gave us a booth since it was myself, my husband, my toddler, and my baby. Our server came over and she was so sweet and efficient. We didn't wait long at all for our food to come out. I've always wanted to try the super food bowl so I ordered that. It's a Chia seed bowl that comes with granola, fresh fruit, and a side of toast with almond butter and sea salt. My son loves the yogurt parfait from the kid's menu so he ordered that which is Greek yogurt topped with granola, fruit, and a side of sourdough toast. My husband ordered the Monterey Jack club, and I took a bite of his. It was delicious as well as the side salad that accompanied it with lemon vinaigrette also tasted amazing. It was so kind of FW to treat us. I felt bad because we didn't have cash to tip and there was no bill so just know, we got you, First Watch. I came back today for day one and they were so kind to give me this amazing Tumblr (featured). I'm so excited that FW is in the QC hood and believe me I will be spending money there, going there for breakfast and getting my favorite, banana/granola pancake that is off the menu Enjoying my avocado, toast, my morning meditation juice, and the Project Sunrise coffee that I love. It's a great place to take the family. It's not too loud, busy in the morning-but easy to get a spot. You can get pick up or delivery. There is a bar, indoor and outdoor seating and parking is readily available in the lot. We love first watch. Now having one within 15 minutes of my house is a great perk! My son had a soccer game so we dropped in to celebrate on Saturday morning. While checking in we seen some friends so asked if we could all be seated together. 9 of us and no issues. Very friendly and accommodating . I am so disappointed with First Watch. We have eaten at this location multiple times and have always had a great experience but yesterday was Mother's Day and it was the worst experience. They decided to open the back bay and both doors on a hot day with no AC. The flies were everywhere. I spent more time swatting flies away from my food and couldn't even enjoy it because it was so hot inside. We complained and was told we weren't the only ones to do so but nothing could be done. No manager came by to apologize or even offer a discount. Then they ran out of to go boxes so I had to wrap my sandwich in aluminum foil. If I wanted to sit with the heat and flies I would have asked for patio seating. For a day that should have been stress free for a mom turned into me wishing I would have stayed home and cooked. Although our server was good and apologetic, we will never return just based on this experience. read more

Stopped in today for a late breakfast. A Tuesday, but the place was hopping. I ended up sitting out on the patio, which is very pleasant. My server was Uber friendly and efficient throughout my visit. Coffee pot topped up at the right time and food came out pretty fast. The menu is pretty extensive, but a lot of it is carb heavy. I opted for a turkey egg white omelet with veggies and feta cheese. Also got a large fruit bowl and a order of bacon. The feta addition just kinda missed the mark in my omelet. A sharp cheddar would have been much better imho. I left the large pieces of toast off my order (but they look good as they were going by my table for other diners). My server nicely included a small cup of additional fruit as a sub for the 'no bread'. I like my bacon a bit more crisp than what came out. It was good though (4 slices), and the omelet had 3 tomato slices on the plate. I think from a pretty green tomato. They were hard and not too flavorful. The coffee is good and I like they bring out a pot so you can help yourself. Same with some cold water in a carafe. All in with tax and tip, I'm around $30. There's a lot to like about First Watch, it's probably now in my top 5 breakfast stops, but it won't be my #1. read more

I was very disappointed in my visit! My husband and I left after we waited over 15 minutes for someone to take our order. It was frustrating because the restaurant was not busy! Our waitress took a long time to bring us just plain old water & then she said she would be back to take our order. She never returned and I even told the host/ manager up front we were still needing to order. Why she couldn't take our order I have no idea!
