NOT a place for families! We told our server that we were a party of 6- 4 adults 2 KIDS and she didn't say anything. AFTER we were seated and ordered drinks we discovered they didn't have a kids menu. We were going to just have our drinks and leave but they said they did off menu for kids and listed our options, not telling us prices. The kids wanted chicken tenders and then they arrived they asked for dipping sauce and they had none. the waitress seamed insulted we asked for ranch. the tenders were super dry, as was the sandwich I had. My mother in laws English muffin was dry with no butter. I'm had better food at IHOP. then the bill came and the kid meals were $15 EACH. we expected $6- $8 for a kid and they only ate the fries ad the chicken was dry, bland and with out a sauce inedible. they also tried to add a 18% gratitude- probably because they could here us saying how bad our food was. the manager was rude and insulted me for having a glass of wine. I highly recommend you skit this place and hit the Italian place across the street. read more

We called ahead for a party of 13 (9 adults, 4 children) and arrived 20 minutes later on a Sunday morning. The staff was professional, considerate and accommodating. Fabulous pancakes but I found the Omelettes less convincing. They serve cappuccino and cafe au lait. The regular coffee is....well, standard. Staff friendliness was average. O.k. when we ordered, but nobody dared to greet us when we entered. Everything was very clean including the restrooms. Parking was easy as there is limited space available in front of the restaurant and more around the corner. I stopped in here with some of my friends the other day for breakfast I ordered the egg breakfast. It came with 2 eggs, bacon, a slice of toast and potatoes. It was good, the eggs tasted really fresh. My friend & I split the chocolate chip pancakes. They were good but a bit dry. Came in for brunch and was pleasantly surprised that they were diligently observing social distancing. We were seated promptly and the food arrived quickly. Though the food was okay, we've had better at other breakfast/brunch places. So why the 1 Star? We had asked for the check and it arrived but we had to pay the cashier. I normally tip about 25 percent so I asked the young man behind the counter for change. Instead of singles he gave me two five dollar bills. I told him I needed five singles, he said "oh ok" then an older woman with bleached blond hair(perhaps one of the owners) gave me five singles which I promptly gave four dollars to the waitress who served us. As she was thanking us, the woman behind the cash register interjected that I had "not given her a five dollar bill". I responded that I was sure I did, but she insisted I had not. Perplexed I gave her my last five dollar bill and went back to my seat. It was then that it dawned on me that I had given the young man behind the counter the bill, and I'm not sure whether he gave it to her or not. Regardless, I saw them exchanging words under their breath, and I knew I had been been taken for five dollars. Rather than make a scene, my wife suggested we just leave so we did but I was still angry over the slight of hand that resulted in what amounts to a theft. Yes it's only five dollars but in my view, deception in any form or quantity is wrong. Suffice it to say we will never be frequenting this establishment ever again, and warn others to watch their wallets closely. read more

The 2 of us got to restaurant, put our name in waitlist. 15-20 min wait; Busy busy. (Good thing, right?) We then were informed that there was no more crab cakes "because you guys came in and we are so busy." We both ended up ordering same thing-waited for 45 mins only to get food that was over cooked (supposed to be an Florentine Benedict) the eggs were like rubber and English muffin was not toasted at all. I had requested extra goat cheese, 3 specks of goat cheese. Sad really. Waitress was informed- she said, "the cooks will not remake the dish just the 2 eggs for the top" (the pic is showing what dish looked like after I slightly deconstructed, since I had to show waitress the lack of on rest) I refused the food. Instead I drank my 8oz apple juice ($6.00 for a small glass of AJ) and pouted. Just joined the museum and will be down at least 3x a month. Came in for breakfast. Place was almost empty, only a few people sitting at the counter. Hubs and I ordered an eggs benedict and an item off their specials menu. The atmosphere inside was stuffy, like a hot apartment whose AC was broken. The vibe here is very much that of a greasy spoon diner. There's a counter, grills behind it where they make the food and heat lamps planted right in front of the tables. The cappuccino was awful, there was no froth and the espresso was burnt, undrinkable at best. Husband ordered a coffee that tasted like water. After a 35 min wait we received our food. The presentation was lovely and eggs benedict was decent. Husband's special was edible but he didn't finish it, which says a lot because he normally finishes everything regardless of the taste. We left super disappointed and felt sick after our meal. There are SO many wonderful places in the area to eat, I would highly recommend not choosing this one. read more
