David Atwater's The Bakery is a welcome arrival. Offering a variety of scratch muffins, pastries, breads, cakes and pies, our favorites are the fresh blueberry muffins (and blueberry muffin "holes"!) and the Anadama bread. Located just off Main street in the Municipal Parking lot, The Bakery opens at 7am and has a few small tables if you don't have to rush home to feed a crowd. During our visit it was very busy and my wife found a couple books that piqued her interest. I do think due to how much of the area is touristy and distance from me I likely wouldn't seek this particular location out again. Much closer locations with better overall set up. Nothing outright negative about this one besides some areas really lacking space for a busy store making it hard to move. Glad to have now visited this one!
