It was great that she tried to call them. So after confirming no go on OEM (one with toyota logo) she arrange for aftermarket glass (brand was Fuyao which is manufactured in the USA) that met the same specs as OEM glass. At first I arranged for it to be done on Friday but had to call back since my wife said she did not feel safe with the cracked windshield which started to spread toward the driver side. After calling Pauline back she was great at rescheduling for today Wednesday between 10-11am. This morning Lam called before 10am and said he was on his way and would arrive in about 15 to 20 minutes. He was ontime and let me watch him do his work. In less then a hour he was done removing the old windshield and installing the new one. He did a great job and made sure the area was cleaned of all the left over glass and dirt. During install he explained the process and gave good instructions for waiting to remove the tape and washing the car. Lam was very friendly and nice to talk too, he was great at his job. I am very impressed! My Acura RDX windshield had a couple of cracks caused by flying rocks driving on the freeway. Yesterday morning 10AM, I found OAGS on Yelp with practically 5 stars rating, so I decided to call and the business owner (Dennis) answered. He was friendly and super easy to talk with. Once I confirmed my car year, make, model, VIN, and my already opened claim referral number from my auto insurance provider, Dennis was on it! Since I have $0 deductible and Dennis confirmed he can replace my windshield right away with OEM, he 3-way called the auto glass claim department of my insurance carrier (without me even having to provide him the phone number) and we established my authorized agreement to move forward of my insurance claim with OAGS. After the 3-way call and since I had time before heading to work at 1:30PM, Dennis was able to dispatch his replacement tech to my house within an hour with an OEM windshield. The replacement tech (Armando) arrived and he was also very friendly. He did his skillful job diligently in my garage since it was a very hot day and left at 12:40PM. Dennis kept in great communication with me via phone about the next step: ADAS recalibration, the process of realigning the forward-facing cameras and sensors mounted on my car windshield. Since I had to go to work, Dennis was flexible with me scheduling to go into his shop for the ADAS recalibration the next day when I am free after 2PM. The next day (1:45PM today), Dennis texted me a friendly reminder that his calibration specialist (Eric) will be waiting at the shop for my 2:15-2:30PM appointment. I arrived at the shop on time and met Eric. He must be that good at his job because he skillfully finished the recalibration within 20 minutes and I was on my way home. The entire OEM windshield replacement with my opened insurance claim was excellently completed in practically 24 hours and I did not have to pay a single penny, because my deductible was $0. Dennis is the best and I highly recommend everyone to give him the opportunity to serve you as wonderfully and professionally as he did with me...all that via phone without even meeting the guy in person. After several chats, then a costly ($1,582.45) visit to Tesla Santa Clara-Northwestern Parkway, Fernando installed a new sheet of Expel XR Black Ceramic to my new rear backlite glass for no charge, as promised. As first reported, my rear defroster ribbons were damaged pre-install. This Tesla service center claims this to be wear and tear for a 2018 M3, even when simply cleaning the rear glass. Online chats and Tesla forums will show that some Tesla service centers will cover this defroster failure for no charge as "goodwill" or "defect," -- just not "warranty." My apologies to Fernando as when he said "cleaning," he really meant a simple cleaning of the glass prior to install! It could have happened to anyone -- including me. It was not clear to me at the time what could have happened to cause this type of damage. My bad for the misunderstanding. (I suppose the takeaway here is it's best to get your car tinted when the rear defroster is new, not after years of sitting in the sun.) And, after further review of my original invoice, Fernando did give me a cash discount as a gesture of goodwill. I look forward to returning to GSAG&T to get my other vehicles tinted.

She was over at my place because she was going to pickup my kitten to pet sit for 3 days. I helped carry the things to her car and that's when I saw the crack. On a Sunday 9/29 at around 5:30PM, I called in hopes to get an appointment, but little did we know they were able to take care of it for us that evening. We did have to wait close to an hour for them to confirm if they have stock, but come 8:15PM the job was finished. It seems silly to replace a windshield for a very old car but we are hoping this car will last another 2-5 years, so taking good care of it is still our priority. Kudos to her dad though for keeping the maintenance up on the car. I don't do that, but I can supply financial help if needed. It would have been better to put the tape on the trim not the paint. I called and spoke with Gina. She denied any responsibility and then later offered to pay half. I called my ins company. Gina agreed to the full repair. Soon after the trim on the driver side blew off. I called Gina to schedule the painting and trim repair and she reversed saying that they would pay 50% of the paint repair and the trim was "wear and tear." When I disagreed and stated my ins policy she replied "you are yelling at me and I am going to hang up." I am shocked that this is how a representative for any business would behave.
