Got some oreo brulee boba and brown sugar boba. Really liked both. The oreo one was surprisingly good. 50% sugar was sweet enough for me.
Suggested by a friend after lunch! Never tried it but the pistachio cheese foam was great! I don't see pistachio drinks very often so it makes me happy to see it. Can only order digitally, no clerks. The staff focuses on orders and they work fast.
This was my first time ever going to this particular Boba spot and goodness did we ever beat the rush!! There's only three tables inside, so we got lucky that there was an open table, as we ordered from the kiosk, drink makers were quickly in the back, preparing everything. The drinks came in rather quickly, and the music was upbeat. Seats weren't as comfortable as they could be, but I'm sure at this Boba shop they want you coming and going. Hee The only other thing I would complain about is the neon LED lights. Lol that's more just my problem because I have a sensitivity to Lite as I was playing catch-up with a good friend, my eyes hurt though. Lol probably because it was later in the evening and we stayed for two hours! Lol. My Lilikoi lite she drink was delicious with green tea, I forget the exact name though! Oops! I will definitely be back to get another drink, though!
My go to boba spot - quality is always consistently good no matter which location I go (have been to several in SoCal and this one in NorCal). The drinks never taste artificial or like they're made from powders - always super fresh. This location has a huge parking lot so no need to worry about that. You order on a screen at the kiosk and can wait in the 2-3 tables or benches they have for indoor seating. Came this time on a Monday around 6:45pm and only two drink orders ahead of us. They also text when your drink is ready if you want to wait in the car, or you can order ahead for pickup. For a non caffeinated pick me up, I got the mango yakult and my friend got the matcha oolong. I got 25% sweetness for the mango yakult but the drink was still fruity and tarty from the mango puree. My friend's matcha oolong was earthy and a perfect blend of both flavors. I have yet to find a drink here that I dislike - can't go wrong with any!
This is one of my favorite boba spots! The milk teas are very creamy and delicious, the tea is fragrant, and the boba is sweet and chewy. I usually order online for pickup and drinks are typically ready in 5-15 min depending on how busy they are. This Sunnyvale location has a couple tables to sit down but I have always just taken my drink to go. Highly recommend!
I've been coming here since high school and I never took the time to give this place that review that it deserves :0 Sam made an amazing recommendation today since I wanted to try something new! The Mango chamoy frosty is definitely delicious and reminds me of those bomb Mexican mangonadas I've had in Cancun shout out to her for being spot on and super face during the most busiest of hours ! Alondra & Alison also did a great job greeting me and answering all my questions as well as my friends! They definitely help keep the place bright and sunny with how clean and well maintained the space is at first notice! Definitely glad to see these three working here since their speediness helps to get dozens of orders out in just a few minutes! I didn't even noticed how packed the place was until everyone left after their order in less than 5 minutes !
Came by for the first time today with my sister. We ordered online. They were so busy we waited for a while before asking for the drinks and turned out they had been made. lol. Pretty casual hangout place with a few tables and chairs if you want to hang out. 5 stars for their mango tea. I tasted the mango as well as the tea aftertaste without being too overwhelming. I think I will have to come back to try other drinks.
This is the first time I prefer fruit tea and no real orange slices inside!! Also very little boba on boba tea too. Is this the reason their business getting slow??
Great boba place in Sunnyvale! Tried it for the first time today. I decided to go with the recommended sweetness level for both drinks, and I was a bit worried since they were both set at 100%. But both drinks turned out to be perfectly sweet. The fruit tea was the best I've had in a while, and the boba coffee was excellent too. I'll definitely be coming back to try more drinks!
It is very popular for a reason! You can get milk tea with a nice, strong tea flavor here, or you can get very sweet honey boba that does have a sweet aftertaste. They do have cute plushies and anime promos seasonally. Also, the cool cat seems to bring luck indeed.
Sunright , boba chain from socal, has been one of the boba shops on my rotation in the bay for a while. I would say I go here when Im craving something on the sweeter, less tea forward side. They specialize more on specialty mixed drinks like their creme brulee drinks and blended fruit tea drinks. Again emphasis that the drinks here are made very sweet, if you would like a general sweetness level I recommend getting 75% sweet, maybe even 50%. My typical order (also what I think is like a better version of the omomo bruleedrink) is their matcha milk tea, less ice, house milk, added cremebrulee and oreo toppings, 75% sweet. We also tried their new jasmine drink with pistachio foam top, thought it was very refreshing , not too sweet. Pistachio top didnt taste artificial, nutty flavor went well with the jasmine tea, would order again! This location was just recently renovated, love the new space, feels much more bright and spacious, they even have a few small table for seating now. Also they have a rewards program through toast, which you can also use to order ahead . Even if you dont have jt downloaded, as long as you put your phone number in when you order, you are earning points towards discounts for future orders. Service is always friendly and efficient. Overall highly recommend if you are in the area!
One of my favorite boba places in Sunnyvale area. They have the new pistachio cream line. Got the viral Dubai chocolate frostie. Chose the house milk at 75% sweetness. It was a perfect treat on a warm day. It was a nice swirl of dark chocolate frostie with pistachio cream. Didn't taste the pistachio that much though. It also had a little biscoff crumble and crispy noodles.
Atmosphere: The boba shop had a bright lighting, big space for crowds although not enough seating. This was not an issue for my friend and I, although for bigger groups it might be. Service: Our drinks came out pretty quick! There were minimal interactions as we ordered through a kiosk. Food/Drinks: I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea with boba with regular sugar and ice level and it was the most basic, to say the least, drink I've had at Sunright. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but I tasted more milk than black tea so in all, I ordered milk. No other taste to it. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Everything was clean, maintained and had a cute IG worthy decor for people like me. (camera drinks first!) Wait Time: I waited about 5-7 minutes for my drink. So that's a big plus! But I wouldn't mind extra time for a better drink. Value: The average price for boba is around $7-$8 so this priced a little under $7 ($6.25) Overall Experience: Overall, it was a solid experience. Not sure if I'd come back every week since I could find a better jasmine drink someplace else, but definitely a great place for a casual hangout.

Having had Sunright at least a dozen times (either by going in person or having it delivered) since they opened, I can comfortably say this is one of the best Boba spots in the area and it's definitely my go to when passing by. I've had the opportunity to try most things on the menu but lately I've been usually getting the grape frostie. The menu is extensive enough to where there should be something for everyone as there are your more traditional choices as well as some fusion of East meets West for creative new drinks. Sunright uses high quality ingredients, many of which are locally sourced in California. And yes, you can absolutely taste the difference. This is also in part due to their preparation process as they don't skip steps and cut corners. The staff is always on top of things and even in the beginning when wait times were ridiculous (waiting an hour for your drinks), they have always been working diligently and quickly while maintaining the high quality standard. Thankfully things have calmed down since then but I would still recommend ordering ahead of time when you head there for a smoother experience. Regardless, you'll be greeted with a sunny smile when you get there. The location itself is small and it's pretty much a grab and go at the moment but the decor matches the theme - bright yellow with a few white clouds - bringing joy and happiness once you step in. First time visiting Sunright and had no idea how busy it gets, which made me regret not ordering ahead of time. There is only one kiosk to order so we ended up ordering online when we got there and was able to skip past the people waiting in line. We still ended up waiting close to 30 mins for our drink. You get a text when your order is ready. Head up to the front/pickup area to let them know because the drinks are kept in the back if you order online. They will call out your number if you order in person. Matcha creme brûlée - got this with honey boba and the consistency of the boba was on point! Not soft and very chewy. Didn't taste much of the creme brûlée though. Sunright Fruit Tea - refreshing and paired well with agar boba. More orange juice flavor than passion fruit. read more

This boba spot exceeded all my expectations! We came in on Monday and there was quite a line to order at the kiosk. However they do have a QR code so you can order on your phone. It took at most, 10 mins max for our order to be ready! We ordered the cream pudding milk tea and yakult strawberry with lychee jelly. I have to say they blew it out of the park. The cream pudding and milk tea mixed so perfectly well together and created this amazing flavor. The yakult strawberry was DELICIOUS. It was refreshing and tasty. I think they do fruit teas very well here so if you're a fan of those, please come try this place! 10/10 so good. I can't to come back here and try their other menu items! read more

This place has become one of the most popular spots in the area that a lot of my friends know about and go to so had to try it. Went with a safe option of roasted oolong and cheese foam because it's always a good combo. The boba was soft and chewy just the way I like it so I see why others come here. The menu has a lot of options and it seems like the fruit ones are most popular. We ordered online beforehand and it's definitely a busy place so be prepared to wait. read more

The spawn wanted to swing by and grab a few drinks to end the day and this was the spot he picked. Arrived to a pretty busy store. That is a plus and a negative depending on the person. The plus side of it shows that people like the store. The negative side is that people like it so much that it has a wait time... The drinks are good but I wouldn't say great. I expected more flavor from them. The service was meh . It might have been due to the amount of people. Given that the store is so small, it makes it tough to move freely inside of the store when it's packed. I suggest ordering online and doing a quick pick up. Oreo crème brûlée (75%) tasted good but it was more like a watered down Oreo shake. Taro milk tea (100%) was average. I tried this before at 75% and I wanted it sweeter so I did 100 this time and that wasn't much different to me. Thai milk tea (100%) isn't as sweet as you might think it would be. The flavor is what it is...I expected a little more punch to it. read more
My favorite boba spot in the Bay! Too many good things I can say about this place, it's made it to my S tier for boba rankings ever since it opened - and I'd say I get boba 2-3 times per week. This location is super convenient with ample parking and stores nearby drinks and service are super consistent and solid, so it's always my first choice! The one thing is they don't have seating so it's more of a place you stop by at (and you can check out the Cardart nearby as well while you wait, a cool card shop with collectibles and card games, etc!) My go-to drink is Strawberry Jasmine Tea with honey boba or jasmine green tea jelly! Other favorites from friends: Yakult Orange, Oreo Brûlée, White Peach Oolong, Brown Sugar Boba Milk. Tip: order ahead on the Toast Tab app for more efficient pickup and to get rewards! I actually didn't know about the app until 2 years in and then realized I had free drinks stacked up. read more

Went for Dessert Food - 5/5. House milk tea had a great balance between sweet, creamy and astringent. The tea flavor was strong yet mellowed out by the house cream and sugar. Boba was on the softer side but still maintained a bouncy chew to them. Four seasons milk tea had a lighter mouthfeel with a floral scent. Its smoother texture made for a refreshing drink that maintained a good level of sweetness. Service - 4/5. Ordering can be done from multiple kiosks and staff is available for questions. Drinks came out quickly. Value - 5/5. Most drinks are just below $6. They are served in nice cups that are filled to the brim with flavors that won't disappoint. Great bubble tea location. We had dinner nearby and came here for a dessert / sweet way to end the dinner. Got the milk tea drink with boba and it was alright. The boba was chewy but was not cooked in honey or sugar, which is my own preference. Overall, my milk tea drink doesn't really stand out on its own. read more
This Boba spot is very close to my apartment, but for whatever reason it's taken us a while to actually get here. We've gone twice, and they definitely are packed on Friday nights and weekends. You order at a kiosk, and they do not accept cash. Make sure you print out your receipt, so that you can see your order number. They have a great selection of different drinks, and I love how they have oat milk as an option. The milk tea with pudding was very good, I loved the matcha with strawberry. I do wish they had a smaller size because the ratio of Matcha tea to strawberry purée is a bit disproportionate. The second time, I got the kids size chocolate drink with Oreo. It wasn't actually blended, and I'm not entirely sure if they actually used oat milk, but the boba was super fresh. We will go again, and I'm going to try to order the drink one more time to see what it's like, but overall I am impressed with the quality and the service has been great. read more
Great fruit teas! We were recommended this spot by a friend and ordered the Grapefruit Jasmine Tea based on her recommendation and it was fantastic! For the 50% sugar, it's the perfect balance of sweet and tart with a bit of bitterness from the grapefruit. The tea flavor really shines through as well! They only have one ordering kiosk so it's best to order in advance or once you arrive you can order via the QR Code they have displayed in store. We got our drinks about 5 min after ordering. Sunright is now my go-to whenever I crave something refreshing. I LOVE their toppings. It's consistently good and it has the perfect consistency (I'm not just talking about boba). Their drinks are on the sweet side though. Their recommended sugar is usually too sweet for me, but if I choose too low on the sweetness level, sometimes it tastes too bland. After trying their strawberry jasmine tea a couple more times, I can safely say I still don't like it. I really like their other fruit teas though. Definitely a solid place for a drink. Stopped by after a lunch with the coworkers. There was no line, no wait, got our drinks super quickly! We all got the Hokkaido milk tea with varying toppings and sugar levels. I got the drink with grass jelly, less ice, and 25% sweetness but the ice was still huge and honestly could've gotten 0% as this kept me up all night. I can't really taste the difference of Hokkaido versus regular milk tea but (hopefully) that's what they're actually using and I feel good about it. read more

I love Sunright Tea Studio! It's always busy so make sure to order online beforehand. Workers are always friendly and nice. I can see they're always trying their best to serve as quickly as possible. My favorite drinks are the taro boba milk tea and the strawberry jasmine tea with boba. They're both made with real ingredients and didn't feel artificial. Absolutely love this place! read more

I've been to Sunright a few times already, and all the drinks I've had were pretty good! The lines are usually pretty long, so it's definitely a good idea to order online and pick up to avoid the wait. I had the Crisp Plum Frostie, and it was more delicious than expected! Never had a drink quite like this at a boba shop, but its flavor is similar to that of Vietnamese xi muoi drinks. It pairs really well with the jasmine jelly (included in the drink), which is very fragrant. I ordered with 50% sweetness, but I think it may taste better with a higher sweetness level. I also ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea and Matcha Milk Tea before. Both were pretty good, but I liked the Sunright Milk Tea better. I also really recommend the mochi as a topping! It's super soft and pairs really well with any milk tea. Definitely will be back to try out different drinks! read more
If you're looking for a tea shop that delivers consistent quality then Sunright is the place. This shop is popular for a reason. You can order online or go into the store to order. I ordered online and even though they have a high capacity, my drinks average around 10-12 minutes after placing the order. There isn't anywhere to sit, so you'll see people standing inside and outside, waiting for or enjoying their drinks. I've only tried their frosties, which have not disappointed me. On my first visit, I tried the mochi matcha frostie with oat milk (25% sugar). Surprisingly, every sip I took contained a glob of mochi. The amount of matcha powder they used was perfect and strong, but not overwhelming. I've also tried the mango frosties and plum frosties. The plum frostie reminded me of a Vietnamese sugared plum candy (kẹo ô mai) in drink form. Or Japanese pickled plum/umeboshi, with added sugar. The frosties are perfect on a blistering hot day! Although I haven't tried any of their milk teas, my friend seems to really enjoy their wintermelon MT. Overall, the service is quick and the drinks taste great. I would advise following the crowd on this one because Sunright is top-notch. read more

My favorite drinks? + Grapefruit Jasmine Tea: So refreshing with real grapefruit. Any of their fruit teas are great, but their grapefruit just hits different. Perfect for summer time. + Wintermelon Latte: So flavorful and fragrant! If you love wintermelon like I do, Sunright really hit the nail with this one. The perfect milk-to-tea ratio. Nice and creamy, very sweet too! I recommend 50% sugar. + Cream Pudding Milk Tea: Their regular milk tea alone is so good! They use flavorful black tea. Match it with their cream pudding? OMG It adds an excellent custard texture to the drink!! I could eat this cream pudding all day! I added boba once to this and it was a bit of texture overkill for me, but if you love lots of toppings... I would recommend it! They also have half gallon jugs. Not a bad price and great for groups, parties, or... just a lot of tea that one person can drink over time from the fridge. This is a really popular SoCal boba shop, and I'm so happy it has made its way to NorCal. Definitely looks as popular as ever! There is usually a line out the door during peak times. Other than the chunks of ice I occasionally had slide up my straw, I really liked this. Reasonably priced (for boba Bay Area standard), strong sweet flavor, and tasty red bean toppings. It was a whole meal. I drove 15 miles for the the matcha red bean slushee pretty worth it for the aesthetic pic (LIKE MY PICTURE I PAID $7 FOR IT). Ask them to blend it better if you go, but overall solid place read more
I always find myself stopping by Sunright Tea Studio whenever I'm in the area. This place is a true TEA studio. You can taste the difference in quality and flavor with the tea options here. If you're looking for more of a sugar-filled drink, this might not be the place for you. I've been here a few times, but my favorite drink so far is the sunright fruit tea 75%. This refreshing drink has a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. My boyfriend stays true to the panda milk tea. Not too sweet at 75%. The boba is extremely soft and chewy. The only downside about this spot is that it can get pretty busy. There is only one kiosk inside and the line can definitely add up. Line too long? They have a QR inside to scan if you'd like to order online instead of waiting. However, if you really want to be efficient with your time, I would just go to their website and order for pickup to be sure. Give it a try! read more

Came around closing on a Sunday. I ordered a taro milk tea with 25% sweet and honey boba. The taro milk tea was good. There was real taro, and it was really smooth. I thought the taro would be sweet, but there wasn't sugar added. The honey boba was good, and after sitting a while in the drink, it sweetened it up. The ceylon tea was strong. I would probably get 50% sweet next time. The drink came out quickly. Definitely will come back whenever I'm in the area. read more

As Sunright's OG #1 fan since they opened in Diamond Bar, you know I have to come here when I'm in the bay too! So far this is the 12th sunright location I've been to out of the current 20+ haha Anyway, quality and service is great as usual! I got my go-to drink, the Four Seasons Tea with Cheese Foam (no sugar no ice). No complaints! Great tea flavor and BEST cheese foam I've ever had! I have yet to try a bubble tea shop with cheese foam that I like better than Sunright's! read more

Was really excited to try Sunright's Boba Milk Tea which they claim is their #1 customer favorite and it did not disappoint! It's the perfect blend of black tea, freshly made brown sugar syrup and chewy brown sugar boba. We tried two variations of the drink, one with their signature house milk and one with oak milk and they were both great. The signature house milk was indeed richer and creamier, but if you're looking for a lactose-free version, the oat milk is a wonderful alternative. Their 100% sweet level is perfect if you have a sweet tooth, but if you not I'd go with 75%. Next up is their Mango Frostie. Another delicious hit! Fresh mango with blended fresh milk and dried mango. I opted out of their Jasmine tea jelly that comes with it because I really just wanted to taste the fresh mangos and let me tell you, it was perfect! Super refreshing and none of that powdery after taste that you get from places that use imitation ingredients. Great balance of mango to milk ratio too. Lastly, the kid in me tried their Kid's Oreo Chocolate Boba Milk Tea. If I was a kid again, this would be my go-to drink. In fact, it might be my go-to as an adult! Premium Ghirardelli chocolate, oreos and fresh milk lightly ice blended with a scoop of brown sugar boba. It's like the Asian version of an Oreo milkshake. Simply brilliant and a must try! Their quality, huge selection and great service makes this one of the top boba places in the entire Bay Area. read more
Sunright Tea Studio took over the former Bee & Tea spot. It took a long time for me to work up to coming here because of the long lines and long wait times. There are still lots of people coming to order or pickup (their online order) and people working here are busy cranking out drinks. It's a busy popular spot for boba. The parking lot at this strip mall can de frustrating due to the weird angle some of the aisles, plus the narrow aisles and tight parking spots. There can be some congestion with cars coming in or going out of the exit to Maria Lane ; due to this, I would recommend NOT parking in any of the parking spots adjacent to the sidewalk right outside the shop entrances because it can be difficult to back out when leaving. I really wonder about the people who design parking lots. Do they consider the user experience? The good thing is that there is plenty of parking and finding an empty spot to park is no problem at all. Contactless ordering process. Ordering is by kiosk only or on the website. You can walk up and ask them questions, but you still have to go back to the kiosk to place your order. So anyone you see standing in random spots around the place are people who have already placed their order and are just waiting for their number to be called. *** White Peach Oolong Cheese Foam This one is a favorite. Order it less sweet & less ice. Perfect. We will definitely order this one again. *** Oolong Cheese Foam We often choose an Oolong drink at these boba shops as a litmus test. The Oolong was a good solid Oolong tea drink, but would not say it is the best we've ever had. The thing that stands out the most at Sunright Tea Studio is their packaging. Nice thick cups (which make Gong Cha cups flimsy thin in comparison). And nice thick plastic bags to hold your drink. The bag has a built-in divider in the center to keep both cups upright when you are carrying the bag. However, it's also difficult to reuse the bag afterward due to this construction. read more
My Taiwanese friend introduced me to this place and I was blown away. They are they are the inventors of boba tea after all. The boba is perfectly cooked and is consistent every time. The drinks here are phenomenal and if I wasn't trying to kick my boba addiction I would be here every day. They use the oat milk creamer that I like which is great for those that are lactose intolerant. Drinks I've ordered are the oolong milk tea and Ceylon black milk tea both with oat milk and boba. Ordering system in store is actually a touchscreen, so more staff to churn out those drinks. Leaves room for less error. This place gets packed. Lunchtime on a weekend here can be an hour wait. I'm not kidding. You can also mobile order by going on their website and making an account. Overall a great place. I have taken a few people here and they all are fans. I got the crisp plum frostie with 75% sugar and was delighted that it tasted like suan mei (a sort of sour plum flavor), which cut the sweetness. The aloe it comes with is a good complement. I would get it again, but next time I would go down to 50% sugar because my teeth were hurting. read more

Great tasting tea and easy to order via toasttab. I find their teas to be a strong taste while being smooth to drink. The boba is plentiful and chewy. Nicely coated in brown sugar. Every drink I've tried so far is delicious. I also like that they have fresh winter melon tea!! yes!! Theirs is so refreshing~ The sunright boba milk tea is also so good, a classic. The oolong milk tea is good too. Strong roasted flavor. The frostie (I had the crisp plum) drinks are great during the warm weather and come with a jasmine tea jelly which is pretty tasty although a little on the over steeped side. Even at 75% sweet; I felt like the drinks were still a bit sweet unless the sweetness was not reduced. I might try 50% and see how it turns out; usually I'm someone who goes back and forth with 75% and 100%. I don't think I've ever gone with 50% anywhere so we'll see! read more

Sunright has always been a favorite for me. I would frequent the Sawtelle location in LA. You can never go wrong with their drinks. Ordered the Cyelon Milk Tea and Peach Jasmine Tea. I think the peach jasmine is a new drink and it was really good. The peach and jasmine flavor was prominent. I just wish their milk tea was stronger since that is what I prefer. Their milk tea is more on the milky/creamier side, but still good regardless. I like that they have an option of ordering online to avoid the wait. read more
This boba shop is fantastic. You order using a tablet, although there was no seating available during our visit. The drinks arrived promptly and were delicious. Order a milk tea with brown sugar boba. It has certainly earned a spot on my list of go-to boba spots. Plus, parking is convenient since it is attached to a shopping center. read more

Best fruit teas in the area. Location: Sunright is located in a plaza where there is plenty of free parking. You can also use an app to order ahead or use one of the touchscreens to order. Drinks: Their fruit teas are so refreshing. My favorite drink is their Sunright Fruit Tea. They put real fruit slices in the drink. I order my drinks at 70% sweet with less ice but I prefer my drinks slightly less sweet. Service: You don't really interact with the workers since you order on the touch screen menus. Sunright tea has always been a favorite boba shop of mine! We happened to be in the area and decided to stop by in Sunnyvale. From the get-go, they only had one order station. Though there wasn't a wait when we were ordering, a line had formed while my boyfriend and I were ordering. From the other locations, there are usually two so hopefully they get a second station running soon. My go-to is always the Mango Jasmine Tea. It has been consistent and my boba tasted the same as any other sunright tea I've been too. So yummy and not so sweet. I absolutely love the mango purée that's used in this drink. My boyfriend got the Yakult Strawberry and he thought it was okay. Overall, a good experience, the employees were very kind no matter how they were! How long is the wait recently?
For me, it seems like 15-20 minutes in the evenings. You can order in advance on your phone. It's the same price ordering online and ordering in store.

You can try unchecking the box that says "boba (included)" and call to make sure they don't add boba. Or maybe order over the phone? On weekdays, there normally isn't a line so you can order in store too.
Is the taro sweetened prior to making the drinks, or is the taro sweetness adjustable?
They use fresh taro, and you're able to adjust the sweetness of the drinks themselves.

They're open from 12 pm - 5 pm. Online ordering is closed.

12-7pm everyday as of 3/16. I had to call and ask a few days ago because I believe Maps still shows that it closes at 5pm, but it's actually 7pm! Yay!
