Once in a while, they have a BOGO deal (Buy One Get One) - which I really appreciate as a loyal customer! Every weekend this December, they are running the BOGO deal. It's gotten to a point where they always know what I'll order when they see me My fav drink is the Cloud Mango Cheese Slushie Shout out to the workers - I know it's super busy during this BOGO days. Highly recommend staffing up during these deals. I appreciate the owner door being generous and giving back with the BOGO deal Happy Holidays!
We came here on Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. We ordered an assam milk tea and a lavender milk tea, both with boba. The lavender green milk tea was a highlight - the tea and floral flavor was so well balanced and not overwhelmingly sweet. The boba was also a perfect texture. The service was also quick and the interior of the shop was super cutesy/floral! I will definitely be back for this drink and to try some of the snacks next time I'm here!
The drinks were pretty tasty but were on the sweeter side for sure! I usually order 25% at most places but at this shop I definitely couldve opted for 0%. I think perhaps the creamer they use for the milk tea is already a bit sweet by itself? The strawberry yakult was extremely sweet even at 50%, probably the fruit bits and yakult made it sweeteer than we thought itd be. The assam tea flavor was strong though and very fragrant, reminded me of TP tea! Service was good, the worker was quick and she was very nice! The store ambiance is cute but it definitely feels a bit messy with the cardboard boxes placed on the counters. The seats did look a bit dirty, but it was a cute place overall!
Showed up for a quick hit of caffeine on a weekend. Parking was easy and the store was not too busy. There was almost no wait and I got the strawberry lavender green tea with lychee jelly. Something that surprised me was how it actually had what appeared to be candied bits of lavender in it. The lavender flavor was nicely balanced with the strawberry and overall was pleasant, if a bit sweeter than expected. I will note that the store itself is a little dingy, but overall a nice experience.
My friend and I came here after a gym session in the afternoon - we weren't hungry yet, but wanted some snacks/milk tea as a reward. After looking through yelp reviews, we thought this would be a good place to try out. Cozy Tea Loft is located in a shopping center that has a big parking lot, but since Cozy is located off to the side with the fast food drive thru, parking was somewhat crowded unless you walked further away. We found parking after a few minutes of waiting and went inside. The first impression - what a cute place! The decorations of hanging clouds and cherry blossoms made for a lovely vibe. It would be a nice place to hang out with friends/family or get to know a new friend/date. Since we wanted some snacks - we ordered our drinks (milk tea and milk tea with red beans and mochi), popcorn chicken, takoyaki and sweet potato fries. We ordered with a staff member (it seemed like she was the only one working) who was very helpful in answering our questions about the items on the menu. After ordering, we sat down and waited. It was fun to look around at the decorations. I enjoyed my drink - I thought the flavor was good and I liked the red bean and mochi topping. My friend also liked hers, but we both thought the drinks weren't anything out of the ordinary. A good solid milk tea - maybe we should have tried some of the specialty drinks. The popcorn chicken was yummy - the chicken was cooked well and still juicy. The takoyaki were decent, but the sweet potato fries needed some salt/seasoning. Overall, a cute place to hang out with a good variety of drinks and snacks. The staff was hard working and trying to get things out in a timely manner, but since it was just her - we did have to wait a bit. I would go back to try some of the other drinks and for the popcorn chicken.
Lavender green tea is good. Tastes as expected. I got 50% sweetness and I wish I had selected more for my sweet tooth's liking for this particular tea. The spicy popcorn chicken was spicy, juicy, and tender. I was worried it had steamed in the bag during transit but it was still really delicious.

I arrived when the tea shop had just opened and the barista took the time to greet me and the rest of my party even though she was still preparing things in the back. The inside is cute and sweet with a claw machine for patrons to play with and a few toys like Jenga and a Crocodile Dentist Toy, although I would probably replace a few of them because a couple of them were broken. It was very clean inside and had a few tables and free wi-fi for people who might want a nice and quiet place to chat with friends or work on resumes. I ordered a tieguanyin milk tea at 25% sweetness and it was nice and milky with a strong tea flavor. My sister ordered a torched creme brulee milk tea which was sweet enough even at 50% sweetness and had a rich creaminess. The drinks were refreshing and wonderful to enjoy on such a bright, sunny day. I don't go to this area very often, but I would go here again if I were ever in the area.

Not bad! I got the Cloud Mango Cheese Slushie at half sweetness. It was such a sweet treat! My favorite part of the drink was the delicious silky milk pudding at the bottom. Also loved the fresh mango chunks. However, 50% was too sweet and I'd prefer if the slushie were a bit thicker and less watery. I also tried my friend's creme brulee milk tea at 50% which was far too sweet. Safe to say this place definitely caters to sweet tooths so I'd highly recommend doing the lowest sweetness level if you don't want something too sweet. There's the option to either order on the kiosk or at the register with one of the workers. The ordering process went smoothly and drinks came out shortly. The space itself is cute! Could be cozier if there was warm light instead of white light.

Whoohoo we get another Taiwanese boba spot here in Cupertino, spoiled are we. Cozy Tea Loft is truly cozy. They also sell lava toast and popcorn chicken for xiao chi or "small eats." It seems like a great spot for students like high school and younger to hang out. They have cute decor and a warm, welcoming vibe inside. Parking is ample and shared with other shops like the salon and CVS nearby. We agreed that their special Taiwanese pineapple green tea was the winner. It was so tasty and flavorful with the little itty bits of pineapple. Boba was QQ and perfectly chewy. Pricing is pretty average for Bay Area boba, but without the horrible wait time like at TP Tea, and with more creative drinks compared to Tea Top. Definitely adding Cozy Tea to the South Bay boba rotation spot. Welcome to the area Cozy Tea, hope you're here to stay.

I got the French Raspberry Green Tea. It came out within 10 minutes. It tastes like artificial raspberry. I didn't like the artificial taste of what I think is syrup. This store is part of a Taiwanese franchise so I had high hopes for it. This place is an okay place to hang out. If you want late night boba, you can come here but I don't recommend it unless you like boba that tastes like fruit syrup. The parking lot is big but come during nonpeak hours. read more

I really like the boba here, and the price is also great. Last time I got it, it ordered from DoorDash and I got both taro milk and matcha milk. It's very sweet though, so if you don't like ur drink overly sweet I'd get 50% sweet or less. 80% is already extremely sweet. read more

Ordered a pineapple green tea with litchi jelly at 25% sweet and the litchi jelly overpowered the entire drink. We didn't taste much tea flavor or pineapple sadly. Other drink was torched crème brûlée milk tea at the recommended 25% sweet. This one also didn't have a strong tea flavor so it felt like a sugary watery milk drink. I got the Q.Q. toppings and those were decent. One of the boba was more chewy than the other but I didn't bother to figure out which. Ordered through the app so didn't talk to anyone. Not a fan of the automatic tip added in the app either. read more
Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out. As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service. Overall, I hope to return to try many more of their delicious drinks. read more

It's was pretty good. I recommend getting a higher sweetness than you would normally get. I prefer the fruit teas over milk teas here too. There's a self serving kiosk and drinks got out pretty fast. Overall pretty standard tea shop. read more

Overall, the place is pretty nice even though it's in a small plaza. The drinks were pretty bland. Therefore I recommend getting normal or 100% sweetness. Very cute interior design. Everything is pink and there's Even a little claw machine. I think the place is still pretty new therefore, service is super quick . read more
Decently cute place with lots of pink and a cool theme and plenty of seating but overall mediocre tea and boba. The attentive person behind the counter was great! We got 3 cloud teas, one white (sea salt) foam green tea with lavender and boba 25% sweetness, one white foam oolong boba 0% sweetness, and one yellow foam (creme brulee) assam black tea with litchi jelly 25% sweet. The white foam green tea with lavender was nothing special and just tasted like the lavender torrani. We were hoping for something a bit more special. It was kinda weak tea too. Foam was okay. The yellow foam creme brulee was disappointing. It had hardly any flavor. The assam black tea also just tasted like water. Overall, I'd pass on this place read more

Assam Black Milk Tea Judgment: A- tea is dark with roast, almost like from a teaspresso cream is light and softly sweet the cream carries the tea on a marshmallow, a fluffy cloud on a mildly chill wind that gets your hands in your pockets but you're not shivering low hanging fruit but yeah it's cozy, in taste, interior, and service (just a chill guy and gal) pog pearls interior smell reminds of og verde tea cafe next to my school growing up, a happy time no wait/turnaround kind of in an unassuming area so it feels like it's a very reliably hangoutable place $6.73 (including tax) 12/22/24 heppi noo ear!! read more
I have been here a couple of times thanks to the recommendation of my friends and I have loved it since. They are one of the few tea places that have lavender tea. It's my absolute favorite type of flavor and they do it right! It isn't too sweet and the lavender scent isn't overpowering like other lavender drinks I've had. It also has a very refreshing taste. I usually get 80% sweetness and 30% ice, if you want to try it. They have a variety of drinks so you will find one you'll like. The tea barista is super nice and will help you if you aren't sure what to get. The process was quick and they get your drinks to you fast. You can also earn points if you put in your number. The store, in general, is super cozy. They have cute decor, a crane game, and other games to use if you want to sit and hang. You can also study here with a group, which I see a lot of people doing as it is a pretty quiet space. It is pretty hidden but you should come if you are interested in floral, foam, or creme brulee drinks read more
Stop by this boba shop when we were around the area. Interior is neat. It is a self-service order using a touch screen. Beside Boba, they also have toast. We ordered torch brown sugar Boba milk and Taiwanese pineapple green tea with 20% sweet. You can not reduce the sweetness of torch brown sugar Boba. There are many topping options to choose from. It took a while for our drink to be ready. It was pretty slow service. The shop was not crowded but seems like many online orders. There is only a person preparing the Boba at that time. The other was inside preparing non Boba order. The brown sugar Boba is good and not too sweet. I like it. The pineapple one is, I can say, average. If we visit again, we will try other drinks. read more
Straight out of a scene from the Barbie movie! It's very VERY pink in here. And also fluffy with the cloud decorations. Matching the decor is the special Cloud Series teas with slightly salty cheese flavor. This seems like a popular series that I need to try, if I can come back and NOT order the *Torched Creme Brulee Matcha*. For those of you didn't know, I am THE biggest matcha fiend. So much to the point that people gift me matcha protein bars, matcha powder, and shirts with matcha puns on them. So yeah, I know my matcha just a bit. The matcha is silky smooth, and the creme brulee topping is just so satisfying! Definitely enjoyed every sip. Now I wish I had gotten a second one so I could wake up to another amazing Matcha drink in my fridge. The only thing is that I wish they had a dairy substitute of some kind. Most boba shops do have oat milk, almond milk, or non-dairy creamer as a replacement (at extra charge) for those who are dairy intolerant. I am semi dairy intolerant, so sometimes I don't want to take a risk. I'll let you know if I end up being able to order anything else other than the Matcha Dream in a cup. TIP: Stick to the fruity teas or non-milk teas if you are dairy or lactose intolerant. Unless you think it's worth the risk! DATE TIP: Same tip as above, but probably way less worth the risk if you're bringing a date. read more
Cozy Tea Loft is a fantastic boba option that opened up in the Strawberry Park neighborhood. They are located in a plaza next to CVS Pharmacy and Burger King. It might not seem like much from the outside, but I highly recommend checking this place out! I really like this place for 2 main reasons--the drinks and the environment. The drinks are all really good; they have some unique, interesting options that make you feel like you're drinking more elevated boba. They are on the pricier side, but they are really good. I've never went wrong with anything I've ordered; in the past, I've tried Taiwanese Pineapple Green Tea, Cloud Mango Cheese Slushie, and French Raspberry Yakult. My favorite was definitely the Cloud Mango Cheese Slushie--it had so many fun tastes and textures involved. The ambiance is also SO cute. The layout is very inviting and warm, and the color aesthetic is pastel pink. It kind of reminds me of cherry blossoms! They have a decent amount of couches and chairs to sit at, as well as a claw machine and board games. I really like to come here to study with friends since they have strong Wi-Fi and several power outlets. Overall, I recommend coming to Cozy Tea Loft to grab boba and study or hang out with friends! read more

Yum! Definitely going down in our books as an our go to tea spot. The ambience is really pretty with tons of seating and a cute backdrop mirror they have next to their restrooms. Service is very face and friendly, even tho we did order off the kiosk. We ordered their Honey Tieguanyin oolong tea and Royal collection thick milk tea with milk jelly! Flavor wise, the tea was super fresh and delicious and the consistency was always on par too! Will definitely come back and try their other items like their foam series because it seems like that's what they are known for! read more
Came here cuz it looked sooooo cozy on Yelp! It's a smaller store than I expected but I loved the lighting and the aesthetics. Decided to order a Lavender Milk Tea w/ Sesame Cloud Foam and I really liked it! It was light but comforting to sip on. Kudos to the worker who also paid extra attention to our drinks! Since I didn't get any toppings with mine, she recommended I drink by sipping from the cup rather than through a straw so I can get the best taste out of the tea and the foam. Found this place on Yelp, looked like a new place i hadnt tried before. Open late as well which is nice. I had no idea how cute it would be inside! Feels like cute Japan inspired deco. Has a toy claw machine as well. Spent $7 and didnt get what i wanted! It's difficult. The boba- got the hokaiddo milk tea, 25% and less ice. It was sooo good. Best milk tea i've had in awhile. Would def recommend to check this place out. They have such variety and u can build ur own as well. Tastes like quality tea. read more
This is a great tea place to stop by at night, a small shop with some seating. The service is quick and the cashiers are nice. I ordered an Assam Black Milk Tea with QQ toppings, with 50% sweetness of course. And it tasted perfect! If you are more of a sweets person, I would recommend 80% or 100%. An authentic boba shop originated from Tainan, Taiwan! My favorite drink here is torched brown sugar boba milk. Their torched cheese foam is what makes the drink special. It adds more flavor to the brown sugar boba milk. Their royal thick milk tea is another drink that I order pretty often. It's on the sweeter side, so I usually get 25% or no added sugar. I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, so if I come here at night, I go for mango yakult 25% sugar with no ice (as pictured.) Cozy Tea Loft has definitely become my go to boba place in a short period of time. read more

Stumbled upon this boba shop and was surprised to find a hidden gem! I ordered the Assam milk tea with boba. The milk tea was so yummy, it had a balanced yet strong tea taste and sweetness. There is a self service kiosk you can place your order on. There's some seating inside as well as a few tables outside. Would definitely come back again! read more
Very friendly customer service and my drink was prepared pretty quickly during their soft opening! Definitely had high hopes for this place since it's a chain from Taiwan. It's a cute cafe and the cup design is very aesthetic too. I tried the Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea with a 50% sugar adjustment. The tea flavor is there, but it tasted quite watered down to me. I also got pudding in this drink, which doesn't have much texture... I wish it had more of a firm and jello-like consistency, but at least it's not too sweet! Pretty good. read more

Tea shop from Taiwan. And, THE first west coast location...the second in the entire nation (the first US location in NJ just opened in October 2022). We all know how this goes... IF the lines at TP Tea, Chun Yang Tea, and Wanpo were any indication, you better ditch those pole dancing shoes for allbirds because you'll be standing in a hella long line. At least that's what I thought so got there 15 minutes before opening on a Saturday and there was no line at all, not even when the doors opened. Guess word hasn't gotten out about Cozy Tea Loft? Soft opening earlier this month is Cozy Tea Loft, the latest Taiwanese tea shop to open in the South Bay. Their first location opened in Tainan City in 2014. They're open for takeout and have indoor seating. You can order via QR code or in-person. Online ordering and delivery on 3rd party apps to come. M E N U * BASE TEAS: Assam Black Tea, Tieguanyin Oolong Tea, and Lavender Green Tea * SERIES: Honey, Cloud (salty cheese or crème brulée), Torched (brown sugar or crème brulée), Japanese (hokkaido, okinawa, etc.), Fruit: taiwanese pineapple green tea (only one), and Seasonal Slushies * SIZE: One size only - $5.50-$6.75 * SWEETNESS (runs less sweet than other tea shops): 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% * TOPPINGS: Boba, golden boba, grass jelly, QQ, pudding, coconut jelly (65-75 cents each) D R I N K * Tieguanyin Oolong Tea w/ salty cheese foam ($6.50): https://tinyurl.com/2rrs4sea ***50% sweet Starting with the positives, I appreciate that they use sippy lids for the cheese foam topped teas (it defeats the purpose when the cup is sealed with plastic and you have to use a straw). The cheese foam was very creamy with a nice balance of cheesy salty sweetness. Good viscosity and not overly thick; enough for some of the tea to seep through so you can a sip the tea and foam together. Everyone has their personal preferences, but I prefer my teas with a strong, bold taste (when available, I go for roasted oolong). The tieguanyin oolong tea was very light and floral; the tea flavor was too light for me. Their 50% sweetness was comparable to 30% at other tea shop which works well for me. As a reference, my go-to for teas with cheese foam in the South Bay are Sunright Tea Studio and Tan-Cha (both SoCal based). * Taiwanese Pineapple Green Tea ($6.50): https://tinyurl.com/j6k922rv ***50% sweet This wasn't mine but I took several sips and liked it better than my drink. And, this is coming from someone who usually avoids ordering fruit-based teas because I find them too cloyingly sweet. Strong green tea flavor with bits of fresh sweet pineapples made for a very refreshingly balanced drink. Not overly sweet at all even at 50% sweet. S E R V I C E The owner, Yuan is such a sweetheart.
