Teas are one of my favorite drinks to get when I'm thirsty. This establishment is so close to my job, and their drinks are very tasty. The young lady working the front was sweet and thorough making sure the drinks I ordered were the right sweetness, iced correctly and if I needed add ons. Rose milk tea (4/5): A nice light rose flavor that compliments a simple and classic green milk tea base. Dropped by on a weekend afternoon, the tea shop was not busy at all, did the nitrogen infused drink trend fizzle out? Ordered a jasmine nitro green tea with grass jelly and an assam black tea with boba. I liked how they honored your preferences for ice and sugar levels which were customizable. My Jasmine nitro came with 25% sugar, no ice and small bubbles floating on top. Supposedly when nitrogen gas is injected to the tea drink, it helps tune down the tartness of tea leaves resulting a subtle sweetness. My drink tasted creamy and smooth. The tea aroma stood out. Nitro did enhance its texture and flavor. The shop was lackluster and untidy. Sofas were very uncomfortable to sit on as there was no back support. The irregular shaped wooden table was aesthetically pleasing and a piece of art, yet not practical imo. The adorable colorful boba plushies on display buzzed a breath of fresh air to the dark academia vibe. An accidental juxtaposition. Service was effervescent just like the nitro bubbles. Pleasantly surprised! Jasmine Nitro Milk Tea was so smooth, creamy, and fragrant. A little too sweet with the honey boba but with no boba it woulda been perfect. The Medley Berry was a really refreshing and yogurty drink! Can definitely taste the berries and didn't feel very artificial. I wish it came colder though. The workers made the drinks so quickly. Randomly came in here because we were craving boba. Plenty of parking and the place is casual and clean. Customer service was great. It was our first time and we didn't really know what to order, their menu has a lot of options so that's good! I was deciding between the mango milk tea and the watermelon and the worker told me they use fresh watermelon while they use syrup for the mango so of course I chose the watermelon. The hubby chose the blueberry (they use fresh ones) I like how they allow you to choose the level of sweetness and ice. I really liked my watermelon drink, I chose 25% sweetness and regular ice. It was really good. The boba pearls I had however could have been cooked a little longer; they were a bit firm but overall it was nice and chewy. As much as I hate to say it, N7 is not what it used to be. As a high schooler, I used to come here afterschool all the time. Now as a returning post grad who came back to try the place out, the quality has significantly diminished. I got the strawberry matcha, one of my favorites back in the day. After making our choices - house milk tea, 50% sweetness for me and a cold brew latte, 25% sweetness for the bf. We sat down at one of the couches - very comfy - and waited. My bf really liked the burned wooden coffee table and was admiring that while we waited for our drinks. They came out in about 5-6 mins and we went on our way. Bf said his drink was okay. I enjoyed my drink - it was lighter in tea flavor, but refreshing for the warm day. The cheese foam on top was a good contrast to the tea. Overall, I probably would not stop by again. Other than the house milk tea, many of the other drinks weren't very appealing to me as I prefer black tea over green tea - which many of their drinks seem to have. I always come to this plaza for Mitsuwa and Curry Life, but have never decided to stop by this place until now. I came here on Memorial Day and it wasn't too busy. Super busy parking lot due to all of the nice establishments though. The inside had an unfinished, concrete vibe to it. Two big couches with wooden tables is the general seating, so it was perfect for my friends and I to lounge / catch up over tea. Gender neutral bathroom is available with code asked from the staff. You can order from the kiosk or at the cashier, but the kiosk has an automatic 4% surcharge on it...Don't really understand the point of having these if people are just going to choose ordering from the register anyways. Good amount of options with the nitro infused milk teas and variety of tea flavors. You can go basic or a little extra with the nitro option, which I have yet to try what's that's all about. My boyfriend opted for the Thai House Milk Tea and I got the Litchi Peachee. Good amount of toppings given (+ 0.75 cents) and had a bouncy texture. Wasn't hard and a bit chewy, but there's not much flavor. Their Litchi Peachee at 75% sweetness was just okay. Not the best authentic fruit tea I've had, but it got the job done on a warm day. Their Thai house milk tea was really creamy? And had a very ~ vibrant ~ color. Consistency caught me off guard a bit, but there's a subtle Thai tea flavor even at 100%. Not the best I've had though. This boba spot is a must try when visiting San Jose! It's one of my go-to spots the last 2 years and I can't get enough of their House Milk Tea that is nitro infused. We got the jasmine cheese crema and yakult freeze and this was the perfect way to cool down and satisfy the thirst on a hot day. The jasmine cheese crema didn't have the strongest tea flavor but it was very light, creamy, and smooth, and the yakult freeze had strong yakult flavor and was very icy as name suggests. We went during a weekend and there weren't much customers so I dont know why the petite girl on the counter was snappy at us when we asked a simple question. Ordered at the front & the girl was nice. Today was the first time my drink was so bland & watery. The boba was ok. I got 75% sweetness bc it's usually a little sweet but it tasted like it had 0% sweet and barely any tea. I rarely write reviews anymore but this place deserves more love! Crowded parking lot on a Sunday afternoon, I was lucky to snag a spot as someone was leaving. The cashier was super helpful with the customizations I asked for. I ordered a mango green tea without milk, 25% sweet, with mango boba and lychee jelly. Pricing was comparable to other spots in the area. I LOVE that 25% sweet here actually means not too sweet. Often times I order this exact drink from other places, and 25% sweet is super sweet, and even 0% sweet is somehow too sweet because they use a pre-sweetened mango juice or something. I can actually taste the green tea flavor in this drink with just a hint of mango, which is exactly what I wanted. Very refreshing on a hot day. The mango boba just tastes like standard clear boba to me, not much flavor but the texture is perfect. Lychee jelly is great, comparable to other places. My only complaint is that like many other places, it's hard to get the boba and jelly so you end up with a lot leftover at the end. They need bigger straws or smaller boba. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 4/5** If you order at the kiosk, there's an additional surcharge, so order at the counter! When I tried to order less ice for my strawberry matcha, I was told they couldn't adjust the ice level on the matcha drinks. This didn't make sense because 1) it's not like a slushy/smoothie where ice is required, 2) having worked at a boba shop before, if we're worried about it affecting the ratios, we'd adjust milk/sugar/tea to compensate, and 3) they literally can just add *less* ice...more on this later though. **Price & portion, 3/5** The matcha drink I got was a smaller size than the milk tea my friend ordered, but size differences across drinks aren't marked on the menu. **Taste, 2/5** I got the strawberry matcha half sweet. The subtle sweetness in each sip in the first few minutes was perfect. But wow, the matcha was super bitter and left my mouth really dry; the drink itself was powdery and gritty instead of smooth and creamy like I was hoping. And because they wouldn't reduce ice AND used crushed ice instead of regular ice, it melted FAST and quickly started to dilute the drink, making it less creamy, less sweet, and more watery with every sip. I had really high hopes for this place. However, I was let down by the matcha, which tasted like either artificial sweetener or bad matcha powder. Although my drink was ordered at 50% sweetness, the synthetic sweet flavor was just so overpowering. The inside of this place was cute, and my friends seemed to be ok with their drinks, so maybe it was just mine. I've also tried the Jasmine Nitro Milk Tea and Strawberry Hussle, both of these are great drinks as well. They're located in a busy plaza with Mitsuwa, a Japanese supermarket. I waffled between going to Teaspoon and N7 for probably the entire time I was in the Mitsuwa and Daiso of the same plaza and I ended up choosing N7 purely based on vibes. Nitro milk tea sounded pretty intriguing to me -- I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the drink. It was a sizable serving, but it was a little too sweet for me and not enough tea flavor. I got the house milk tea at 25% sugar with boba so I'd probably try 0% next time. Would definitely be interested in going again to try out some of their other drinks!
