Best Biscuit Around! Sunrise biscuit in Louisburg has never disappointed! The biscuits are always hot and fresh and the employees are always pleasant. You also get a very large biscuit! I am not local to Louisburg but I will continue to drive the extra mile to support Sunrise Biscuit!

I stopped here recently, they are doing drive thru only due to Covid, and the service was very fast. The menu is pretty big for mostly breakfast-y foods - you can add cheese, tomatoes, etc to all types of biscuits with different proteins. The unsweet tea was actually pretty good! I'm guessing this is a popular spot for the locals as there was a small line and the restaurant is located right on the main drag. Next time, I'll try one of their famous biscuits that I've heard so much about!

This place is phenomenal! After growing up in a rural area of NC I had as yet to find a place near Raleigh that tasted like "home". This place is so good. Highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and nice. Love it!!!

Great cinnamon rolls and fantastic sausage egg and cheese biscuit! Better than Bojangles.

Yes, I was actually awake before 7AM.

Greatest biscuits in the Triangle! Better if you drive-up. Quicker service. One in Louisburg and Chapel Hill, NC.

Great biscuits. Drive thru service is week. The cheese on their biscuits could stand some improvement, but that is the only quibble.

So we pulled off, took out the trusty Yelp app, and this place popped up. Pulling it, it was clear that they were popular and busy. We went in and there was a wait, about 15 minutes. We decided to hang around instead of worrying about "making good time" and are glad we did. Once we got a seat, we received great service. Our server always kept our drink full, and checked on us just enough. We never felt like we were searching for her. Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see that the prices were not unreasonable, even though it's a very trendy place. in fact, they had a $10ish lunch menu available with a few selections that even included a drink. I was more in a lunch mood so I went that direction, and got a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time even with a full restaurant, so this is a well oiled machine. For the price, I was pretty impressed. I would say the sandwich was about the size of your average CFA chicken sandwich, but had a bold buffalo flavor that I liked a lot. They didn't skimp on the fries, and the ranch complemented it perfectly. We finished up and our server was on top of things getting us the check, so really we still made "good time" on our drive to the coast. I would recommend Brunches to travelers and locals alike!

After arriving a few minutes early we were told it would be "a bit" before they could seat us. "A bit" turned out to be more than an hour and even then they sat us at multiple tables throughout the restaurant. After being seated, we were promptly ignored. Fifteen more minutes went by before our sullen, unpleasant server took our drink orders and eventually our breakfast orders. She was not only extremely slow and inattentive, but blatantly disrespectful to one member of our party by rolling her eyes and making gestures when she thought we couldn't see her. Once our order was placed, we waited then waited more. We had decided to leave if our food had not arrived by 12pm and go to Bojangles in Vanceboro, but at 11:50, over three hours after arriving, our food finally showed up. My omelet was enormous and overflowing with ground sausage. It was OK, but would have been better with less sausage. My shredded hash browns were cold. The biscuit that accompanied the omelet was cold and hard. My dining companion liked her french toast, but noted her eggs, though properly prepared over medium, were cold. Same goes for her home fries. However, the buttery syrup, served with her french toast, was served warm and was absolutely amazing. Wow! It made my biscuit edible and was the best part of our meals. The restaurant is attached to a hardware store in a rural part of Craven County. It definitely has a country vibe and was spotless. Incredibly slow and disrespectful service combined with OK-at-best food make it difficult to recommend Voder's Dutch Pantry in any capacity to anyone.

We chose outdoor seating and even though it was warm, it wasn't that Miami heat, so we were perfectly happy enjoying the outside. It also got us seated a little quicker. We had some time to look at the menu while waiting and ended up ordering the chicken and waffles, meat lovers scramble bowl, the Bissell Breakfast, and the biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs and hash browns. Our food came out pretty quickly and maybe, just maybe, it was the long ride talking, but this foodie family likes to taste each other's dishes and we all agreed everything hit. My chicken and waffles came with a strawberry butter. Yep, that was hitting. The cheesy grits with the Bissell Breakfast, hitting. The gravy on the biscuits, also hitting. And that scramble bowl that was loaded with meaty goodness, you guessed it, hitting. Our waitress was super friendly and took great care of us the entire time, which made our meals hit even better. Safe to admit Metro was a 'hitting' first choice on our Raleigh visit.

The only concession made to frilly decor is the artificial yellow Marigold that crowns the paper towel holders on each table. The menu includes: Burgers and Sandwiches, Soups and Salads, Appetizers and Speciality Plates. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Be sure to check out the Daily Lunch Specials. The only thing missing is a cold beer. The Thursday Special, 1/2 Pound Riblets, is exceptionally good. While the meat does not exactly fall off the bone and takes a little work, there is plenty of it and it's surprisingly tender. The BBQ sauce is a nice balance of sweet, heat and spice. The hand cut Fries are best when smothered in the self-serve Cheesy Sauce. Another special, Chop Steak with Onions & Peppers is another winner. It's more like a cube steak than a hamburger steak and has a distinct chargrill flavor. Remington's Cole Slaw is some of the best I have tried. The cabbage is fine-diced with a hint of sweetness and refreshingly crisp. The BBQ Plate is OK, but not the reason I go to Remingtons. The pulled pig is rather bland and lacks that unique Eastern NC BBQ tang. We particularly like the Geronimo Burger. This double patty monster weighs in at a substantial 1/2 pound with just the right amount of zesty Chili and sweet Cole Slaw. All burgers come on a large, soft but chewy, slightly sweet bun. The Buffalo Wings were meaty and tender enough, but the Teriyaki Glaze just didn't taste right (next visit I'll try the BBQ). I did like the BBQ Beans - slightly sweet and slightly tangy - a nice combination. Be sure to ask for the 10% Senior Citizen's or Veteran's Discount.

The establishment is comfortable and casual, somewhat bare bones. The biggest thing I noticed was the front of the restaurant is very smoky, my eyes were watering. The cook area is right in front of you when you wait for your order, so the smoke is kind of billowing out. The employees were very friendly. Parking lot is pretty small, location is right off S Bickett. On to the food - my cheesesteak was pretty good. Sweet potato fries were undercooked. Baked beans were different than I'm used to, pretty spicy and had large onion slices. Burger was good, coleslaw good, onion rings not good. We'd order food from here again but might choose different items.
