Stopped by Sunrise Burritos on my way to Ridgway State Park from Ouray, the lady at the resort told me I just had to grab a breakfast burrito from here. The guy working the truck was extremely friendly and I ordered the sausage burrito. It was a pretty decent size but it reminded me more of like a southwest style of burrito, not the worst thing just kinda unexpected for Colorado breakfast burritos in my opinion. Didn't grab a photo of the burrito but I sat by the river and enjoyed it which was a whole vibe. read more

Me LOVES a good breakfast burrito! Seriously, it's a guilty pleasure of mine but I'm very picky when it comes to my burrito. Wimpy, frozen, fake ingredients. PASS...I want the real deal and the bigger the better! So here's the 411...I drive by Sunrise Burritos ALL the time! Read the reviews, looked at photos (all three burritos) and idk, they just didn't look beefy enough. Welp, since my bro and his gal were in town and we were all hankering for a BB, I decided now was the time to check them out! We got two Bacon Burrito's with hot green chile, a third with 1/2 hot and 1/2 mild green chile and a Sausage Burrito also with 1/2 hot and 1/2 mild green chile. Super yummy find in Montrose, thanks to my fellow yelpers! You can easily miss it so look for a tiny cabin basically in the middle of the parking lot. Interesting enough they have drive through on both sides. The menu is simple but has something for everyone (vegan and vegetarian options), you will also have a choice of mild, half and half and hot green chile. The lady was very friendly, and we got our perfectly grilled burritos super fast (they definitely know how to run their business). Burritos were delicious and exactly what we needed for a long drive back to Denver. read more

Cute little hut in the parking lot selling breakfast burritos! The lady (I think the owner) was extremely nice and just felt like everything was made with care. Burritos were big and plenty of stuff inside! Would recommend the 1/2 and 1/2 sausage if you like something with some kick but not overly spicy. Great flavor and a tad pricey, but not unreasonable. Woah, this place is awesome. I had the bacon burrito,1/2 & 1/2, it was soooo good!!! I forgot to take a photo, as I scarfed it down. We were headed to Durango and I wished I had gotten a chicken to eat for lunch. Will be in the area until the end of the month, so I will definitely be back! The staff this morning was super great. Had the sausage burrito, with the hot option, and it was very good, though I hoped the hot would have been spicier. Fast friendly service. I found myself ordering right behind a couple of firefighters ordering, I expect, for the department, or at least the whole truck. I didn't experience a slowdown at all. My mom and I were starving on our way to Montrose to pick up my sister and stop by Walmart for supplies for our ski trip. We googled breakfast and this burrito place was the closest thing (in parking lot next to Walmart). It's a tiny little shack with a drive up window and short menu. I got the bacon burrito and my mom got the sausage burrito. It. Was. Amazing. Has tons of filling, including real (very tasty) bacon and a hash brown. I got the 1/2 and 1/2 spiciness and it was perfect. My mom thought it was too spicy but it was delicious to me. I'm from Texas so I like spice. We will definitely stop by again!! read more

Decent breakfast burrito. Comes with black beans and your choice of meat. Grilled in a panini press. The green Chile sauce is good. It comes in hot and mild as well as 1/2 and 1/2. We did the hot and it was warm but not destructively so. Would have liked potatoes on it. I thought they came with them but I didn't see any. read more

I only pass through Montrose a few times a year, but I always make a point of stopping here, no matter what time of day or if I'm even hungry. And I recommend it it anyone I know who is in the area. Literally anything you order will be amazing and the service is friendly but efficient. read more

Stopped for three burritos. Ordered two no meat, one hot and one mild, and a bacon mild. The mild didn't add much flavor and the hot want really hot, so go for at least the 1/2& 1/2 if not the hot. Good sized but not enormous. The temperature if the burrito was just shy of warm, not as warm as I would have liked, but smelled heavenly with the toasty outside (good tortilla). The potatoes are tater tots, so you know what you're getting. I'd go back, the price is right. Oh, and the hours on Yelp are wrong. They close at 1:30 on weekdays and 12:30 on Saturdays. read more

Nice spot for a casual lunch, but if you're looking for table service or something fancier, this is not the place. Very much like a cafe with an adjoining boutique and candle factory. Easy lot parking.

The line into this place was extremely long. They had a lot of cute spots to sit, which was nice, but the wait was uncomfortable (especially due to how hot it was inside). My sandwich came out, and it was okay. The chicken was dry, and the sandwich didn't have all the toppings it should have, which made it drier. I ended up picking at it and instead focused on my watermelon and fries. I'd try other places in town, since there are many. I'd maybe come back to try a pastry. Those looked really good and tempting.
