We came to this donut shop after noon, so the donuts were already old and stale. The only donut that tasted good was the croissant donut. The apple fritter was a major disappoint. Cute mom and pop shop. The owner is a sweet Vietnamese lady and their SANDWICHES ARE BOMB! we got their bagel breakfast sandwich and croissant breakfast sandwich. Both sandwiches were MASSIVE and so filling. We also got a few doughnuts from them and they were fluffy and delicious. Forgot to take a picture but we are absolutely coming back. I usually opt for locally owned, independent donut shops whenever possible. This has been my second time here I enjoy their donuts because they're not overly sweet, have plenty of options for everyone. I called ahead of time for a dozen and a half and they were able to accommodate and pick out what I wanted. Location is great, off of Decatur right before the 215 entrance. I flew home on an early morning flight and was seriously craving donuts & coffee. After leaving the airport, I even drove out of my way to get to this place. The closer I got, the more my mouth started to water. I pulled into the parking lot, all ready for warm, fresh donuts, only to find the shop completely dark and closed. Instant disappointment! Their website says they open at 3am, but it was 4:30am and still no sign of life. Not exactly the ending I pictured after making the extra drive. Maybe the hours online are wrong or something unexpected came up, but it definitely threw off my plans. I'll give them another try the next time I'm in the area and update my review then. read more

Went here 3 weeks ago and I'm so glad I finally did. I previously tried to go here about 1 year ago on a random Sunday because I saw it after eating in the same plaza, but I remember they were closed. I'm so glad I came across this place again. The lady may have also been the owner of the place, but she was the sweetest human ever. She was so friendly and warm and helped us immediately. We got a half dozen - choco long john, sugar twist, bear claw, old fashioned, choco twist, and glaze. My goodness. I could not believe I was missing out on such well-made donuts all my life here in Vegas. You know that feeling when the food/snack that you've just tried was so good and made you feel so nostalgic and you think to yourself --"yeah, that taste was impeccable and classic in all the best ways?" Oh my goodness! We are new to the area and I've been searching for a good bake shop. I brought my kiddos in and we got 2 sprinkle doughnuts, a Bavarian Chocolate covered, and a cinnamon roll. Most of them didn't even make it home! Lol Both kiddos devoured their Bavarian and sprinkled doughnuts. So when I got home I tried my cinnamon roll and can see why they couldn't put them down. The dough was so fluffy and the cinnamon to frosted ratio was to perfection. I wish I would've looked them up before I went. The young lady working the register seemed new otherwise I would've asked more questions. (She was so sweet but looked a bit nervous on how to handle the register. We've all been there love, don't worry you'll pick it up.)To my surprise they have coffee and smoothies there too! In my opinion, the best donut shop in that area! Their donuts are fluffy and delicious. They have an assortment glazed, chocolate, maple! All delicious! I like simple delicious donuts so this place is perfect for me. And i order a cup of coffee to go along with my order. They have real creamer: half and half so that's another plus. My only tip would be find out which day they have their fresh donuts as it isnt every day. I can tell on some days, that I am having two day old donuts. Not terrible but I prefer when they're fresh. The thin glaze gives them a nice sweetness. Incredibly delicious. All the other donuts here are great as well. The raised donuts are so light, moist and fluffy. Their raised donuts are vegan except the maple bacon. The cake donuts are nice and moist. They have strawberry cake donuts here which we'd never seen before. Not far from the Highway Patrol or 215 it was early-afternoon that eighteen fried Pastries were delivered, low prices undeniably part of the appeal and more on par with Krispy Kreme or Winchell's than Pink Box or Glaze. Surely frying from a Mix, the price alone evidence of that fact while anyone familiar with old-school Doughnutries across America can easily spot the difference between these and something involving a little more effort, it remains surprising to see Cherry Cake alongside the more typical Blueberry version, an instant reminder of childhood in the Midwest provided by each bite. Better for Cake than Yeast, both bars and rings of the latter lacking the springy texture of competitors, Frostings taste decidedly artificial thus making the Old Fashioned and Apple Fritters a superior choice for those who can't make it elsewhere. read more

What a pleasant surprise seeing this place while driving around visiting the area from California. I am a donut connoisseur and these donuts are the real deal. My wife and I came in twice on our trip. MUST TRY: glazed croissant donut. Never had I seen this anywhere and it's absolutely delicious. And I'm a big fan of cake/old fashioned donuts, of which are also very delicious here. If you like cake donuts, they make a strawberry cake, which is also pretty rare and I've never seen before. Blueberry cake and old fashioned were just so nice. Raised donuts are also terrific. The lady who serviced us both times was super nice and friendly. Must love this tiny Sunrise Donuts shop down the street from Starbucks when staying at Springhill Suites (Marriott). Easy walking distance. It's a happy place to grab your bagel, donuts, croissants, coffee, beverages, etc. Starbucks doesn't have to be your everyday stop around here. Cambodian cashier is nice and friendly. The donut shop only have two tables with a few chairs. Not much, but the quality and freshness for breakfast items are excellent. They sell boba milk tea too. Great flavors and selections. You can see everything at the front display counter. All types of credit cards are accepted. Bright lighting inside. I wish the place would have more tables and chairs for dining inside. It's a grab and go environment. My croissant was very fresh, not flaky, and milky or buttery in texture. Surprisingly, it was an excellent croissant not too greasy. It actually sticks together. On the hunt for a local donut shop this morning and came across Sunrise Donuts. We don't like the crazy donuts with all the crazy flavors but more so the original donut taste! We stayed at the Marriott near the stadium and did our Yelp search for this little gem and totally glad we did. Sophie was the sweetest we told her we were hungry and didn't care what we got. She whipped out a big ol croissant stuffed with egg, ham, bacon and cheese with siracha. Dang was it good. We got 2 chocolate donuts and a coffee that she made for us right then and there. So hot and fresh! Conveniently located near stadium and airport. We dropped our car rental off immediately after breakfast and got there in less than 8 min.
