It looked like they were closing soon so there wasn't too many options to choose from but from other donut places they still had a good variety. The service was good since I was the only one in there. It seems like a to-go establishment. I didn't see any chairs or table which is okay. Now I've tried many donut places and this is probably the best croissant donut I've had. It was light and when bit into it sunk right into my teeth it was great. The plain cake style ones are smaller then regular style donuts (the regular style or the glaze donuts are pretty big twice the size). The plain cake it lot more dense but still nice moist. Pretty good donuts. I always like a classic, old school place that turns out a solid donut and this is it. I don't love all the new places that are setup like a trendy bistro but I do appreciate the creativity and new concepts that they seem to generate. At the end of the day though, on a certain level I like to feel like I'm walking into an urban Winchell's some time in the late 70's and this place has more of that feel to it. There was a wide variety, but all basic donuts, this is a no frills donut shop.I got 4 donuts to go. We got home and sampled our donuts; jelly, chocolate cake, blueberry cake and strawberry cake. Whhhaatttt? I can't believe this place has such a low rating! My boss brought these in today for Valentine's Day and it was legit one of the best donuts I've ever had. I had a long john donut and it was so light, flaky and delicious! I couldn't wait to Yelp this place because it was amazing. Get your hurt down here! This place is killin the local donut shop game. It's not fancy and I think that's why I like it so much. It's the type of store you would find in an inner city somewhere and makes me feel like in not in Vegas anymore. I have been going here and getting the Steak and Cheese Croissant Sandwich and if you are sleeping v on this spot or are letting that one 2 star review deter you I feel bad for ya. Before the pandemic, I use to come here at least once a week on my way to work. This place was introduced to me by my brother. He use to work in this area as well and this was a frequent spot for him. Nothing special when it comes to their donuts. You can find anything here that you can find at any other donut shop. What caught my eye was their sandwiches and croissants. Again there's nothing special about them, but when the workers/owners care about their business, you know that they care about their food and put countless effort to make it to the best of their ability. The usual croissant (bacon, ham, and egg) is my go too. I've also had the pastrami bagel! Which I also recommend for any pastrami lovers. So why the 4 stars you ask at a donut shop, that's just like any other? Well their customer service here is great. As I mentioned before, you can tell they care about their customers. And to me, customer service is just as good as how the food is. And that's where the rating here comes from. When work picks back up, you better be sure i'll be back at this spot. read more

AMAZING family style sandwich and donut shop. I accidentally stumbled on this amazing location on a delivery app when I was looking for decent donuts in the SW at a normal price. I wqs so impressed as they have completely replaced Lee's Sandwhiches for me in fresh quality ingredients and croissants whether breakfast or lunch. Anyone whose been in Vegas for a while knows Lee's used tp be the best Asian style sandwiches in town and even before the pandemic all their locations went to garbage no exaggeration. They hired lroces even more and every single order not even occasional was suddenly gross flat stale breads and disgusting ingredients among all their drinks. They wwre serving McDonalds or gas station quality with all mgmt and employees bot giving a dam hating their jobs and taking it out om the customers at a gourmet price point. Never thought I would find anything close until I accidentally stumbled on Sunset Donuts. They have a simple menu but anytjing from sandwiches, donuts, drinks, frapps etc are just made to perfection and without price gauging locals. Sunrise Donuts is a welcome addition to a neighborhood that lacks breakfast/pastry options. It's just North of the 215 at Decatur, next to the Subway. They are open 24/7. Although donut is in the name, I was surprised when I walked in to see a smorgasbord of items. Besides donuts and pastries they have ice cream, tamales, boba drinks and snow cones. Even burritos and french bread pizza! I wasn't in the mood for donuts so I decided on a small taro smoothie with boba. I was disappointed when I received it. Instead of being blended nice and smooth, it was still chunky with ice. The flavor was good, but I would have preferred a more thoroughly blended drink. I will probably make the trek to China Town for a better boba, but I will be back to try some of the other items offered. read more

I've come here twice already and I've gotten inconsistent service both times. The first time, I ordered a dozen donuts and the lady behind the counter proceeded to put whatever she wanted in the box. Not a big deal because I'm not picky. It was just weird that she didn't bother to ask me what I wanted. The second time around, she sold me 2 ham and cheese croissants and threw them in the microwave WITH the plastic still on it. I also had to buy donuts for the office, and when I asked for a dozen, I somehow had a choice of what I wanted this time around. For some reason, the lady behind the counter kept on getting confused as to how many dozens I wanted. ONE. JUST ONE. As far as the actual food goes, it's not amazing. It's way cheap for the price, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. They have other stuff like ice cream and boba, but after my fiasco with the donuts, I'm not even going to bother.
