This place is pretty hot as far as bagel spots go. I haven't really tried their other sandwiches because I have a deli for that kind of stuff. The one thing that grinds my gears is they don't turn on the fryer in the morning. That means I can't continue tempting the god of artery clogs and get an order of french fries... Unless I'm hungover and it's late enough in the day I'm having breakfast when most people are getting ready for lunch. My local liquor store's next door and sometimes I really feel like I'm completing the circle of life when I show up here. Anyway, the prices are great and the service is usually pretty prompt. I've tried this place multiple times because it's the closest one to my house but every time, I am disappointed. They don't cut the bagel, if you ask them to gut your bagel, they don't... you will end up having to redo your entire bagel once you get home. read more

For $5 I got the skimpiest bacon egg & cheese I've ever had. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time I go there.

Went in the other day and ordered an Italian sub hold the mayo and oregano. after I ordered I asked how much it would be as I didnt see a price on any of the menu display boards. I was told $9.10 with the tax. You would expect a pretty darn good sandwich for that price but you would have been disappointed, as was I. there was a ton of oregano on my sandwich and no cheese. Who makes an Italian without provolone? Wont be going back to this place. read more

Great place but ridiculous prices! $5 egg and bacon on a roll with barely any eggs at all! Not tomention how often they get the order wrong, consistently putting cheese when none was requested. I Used to love their coffee as well but recently they seem to double filter it leaving it tasting very watered down and for $2 a cup id rather go to McDonald's. They also seem to enjoy casual conversation with each other rather than paying attention to customers orders and orders ready to be bagged. Hope the clean up their act! read more

Called in 20 minutes early so I can pick up my order. Everything was there by the time I came in to pick it up. It's best to call in ahead of time since the wait can be quite long. Good place to get your bagels and it's cheap too. Surprisingly, no card minimum too! read more

Sunrise always has great food. Also area to sit and eat. Sumtimes depending on the day and time you will have a little wait. Esp during breakfast rush 7-9 weekends. Sunrise also has a parking lot on the side of the building and off street parking. So parking is never a issue here. I definitely recommend the bagles. So soft and fluffy. Just double check your order before you leave. They sumtimes mess it up. But over all great place to come in grab a quick bite and a cup of joe. read more

The YOUNG girl and ONLY THE YOUNG GIRL who answers the phone needs to be more professional when dealing with customers who call. She was upset because I asked her how much was the order our office placed, maybe if she spoke CLEARLY and took down her notes correctly she would know how to handle her orders and not be so impatient. either she was hungry or woke up on the wrong side of her bed. Not only was our order (that we placed more than an hour before) not ready when we got there, we were missing part of our order! Called to tell them it was missing and they wouldn't help us out. Bagels are ok. One kid behind the counter (young kid) always messes up my order. He has not idea what customer service is. Rude when taking the order, no please or thank you EVER. This is the second time I've had anything from this place. First time my hubby bought me a western omelet on a roll. It was ok. Maybe I'm comparing it to a bagel place in Clifton that I go to...but I thought it tasted funny. Today I stopped in and got the same. Got charged $6.50. Mind you that is the cost for the platter. They have no price for the sandwich so they just charge you the same and don't offer you the home fries and toast. So I asked for the platter. Tasted pretty good until about noon when I started feeling nauseous. Needless to say, I have food poisioning. Never going here again. Should have stayed away the first time my sandwich tasted funny. It 20 mins to get my order. The girl at the counter kept mixing up everyone's order. Plus it looked like someone had choked her. Had bruises all over her neck. Would have been a shame if I left the tristate area without having a bagel since it's been wayyy too long since I've had a good one. I decided on lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel and it was delicious! Having moved to FL and Chicago, I've forgotten what good bagels taste like and this place was a great place to have my first actual bagel in years. However, the amount of cream cheese they pile on is unreal! Definitely enough for 3 bagels at least. Will be back when I visit in the future to try other items since their menu is crazy long. read more

If it isn't on the menu they will make you whatever you want. Made fresh right in front of you. Went there for the first time on a Sunday It was packed so I know the food must be good . We maybe waited like 20-25 minutes but it was worth the wait . The egg and potatoes were delicious And bagel was very good as well we had the veggie cream cheese I highly commend The coffee was good too . Prices wasn't bad . I do enjoy this place! I've always been happy with my order! I usually get a taylor ham, egg and cheese on whole wheat...it's always really good. There was one review I read that went on and on about how awful they were all three times they tried them out....I thought it was interesting because obviously you enjoyed the food since you kept going back lol...
