This a small hidden nail shop (aren't most of them though?) in the plaza off of Western near Jamba juice and Ross. I got a manicure, pedicure, and wax from Annie. She was very nice and did a pretty good job, but I feel like I have a knack for getting the slowest worker. I mean this in a good way, someone that is very thorough, but sometimes I am in a hurry (had to got a wedding that day, which I barely arrived to within the knick of time because of damn traffic! Damn you, LA traffic!) I had a very cute french manicure with two flowers painted on my ring fingers for added flair. The facial wax was perfect, but she could have been a bit better with my legs (did not have a chance to buy a shaver). I found patches of hair on my leg afterwards. I will excuse her a bit because she got the thick ones (I know, kinda gross but I gotta be honest), and the rest were thin hair that may have been hard to see (I have weird hair on my leg, some are thick and in patches, and rest is fine and thin). Prices were average for that type of nail shop. Not high end but the mani and pedis are good. read more

I've been going to Jolly for about 19 years which should sum it up - she is FANTASTIC! Shop is always clean, staff are always friendly, a very comfortable salon. They take their time, do a great job and pricing is very reasonable. They have spa chairs available as well as facial and waxing available with Annie on limited days. Walk-ins are welcome. Jolly tells me that Park Plaza is going to be doing some remodeling to install more parking near her salon (near Tuesday Morning) which will be great. Christine and Thuey do a great job also. Bad experience with Cassey . She likes to inflict pain on people when they're late as retaliation with a smile (she filed my cuticle twice ) . She ALWAYS tired . I even set an appointment with her , mind you I was on time while she was still stuck in traffic . She's very unprofessional. She sometimes is scantly dressed for work ... I don't recommend her to anyone . I received a text from her yesterday asking how I felt about the service . I told her to look on Yelp , and said "buh bye" now you lost a good customer , and now she wants to play the "Good Samaritan" . She should've been concerned about that she treated me unkind . I even called her being nice to tell her I was running late which I didn't have to do ! I saw that she deleted my post so I'm reposting how I feel about you Cassey !! She always pronounced my name wrong and called me "babe" ! I was soooo over it . The last appointment I had with her was terrible , She also kept trying to impose on me by telling me to get gel powder etc ... I'm like "girl stop" in my mind ! She even tried imposing on what I WANTED to get done . I'm paying her MY money , so all she had to do was SHUT UP and do my nails not impose on what colors she thought would like best on me ! I went here today and got a full set and a pedicure. There were 3 ladies and all of them were busy. I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me out. They were all really nice and attentive to my needs. My pedicure was awesome. I didn't get the ladies name but she was great!! Mary maybe? Anyway I got a gel full set and I wasn't too happy about it. It is very uneven looking and it doesn't look right. When I asked the lady how long she had been doing g nails she said a long time but my nails looked pretty bad. I love the shape but the acrylic powder is way uneven. I asked her to fix it and she barely touched it up. $30 for gel full set $19 for pedi with callus remover and polish. read more

I'm new to the area and I chose to visit this salon based on prior posts and comments and unfortunately received the worst full-set and pedi ever. I definitely had to change my review, the new owner (Tammy) is super nice and professional! I didn't want to get out of the spa chair! and it's high tech with a prop to hold ur leg up while she does the bottom of your feet. Which I thought was super fancy lol I'm going in in a few weeks to get acrylics ‍ can't wait. Did I mention I didn't have to wait and they were super fast two thumbs up. read more

Extremely disappointed with my nails. She made 3 of my fingers bleed removing my set. It was extremely painful. It was already closing time so I said just leave them off but she insisted. The new set was sloppy and because whe dodnt file down by my cuticle they were getting caught when I washed my hair. I went back to have them fixed the next day and the lady seemed irritated. She filed them with irritation, ruining the shape of them and they still looked like glue-ons. I will never return to this saloon, it was the worst! Not only was it expensive and painful, my nails are EMBARASSING but I'm afraid to take them off because my nails are so weak under this set. read more

Both my daughter and I have been going to Jolly for about 10 years. I've never had any problems with the service received. Jolly is always friendly and wants to make sure that her clients go away happy with the job she did, and we do. Jolly is always flexible when we need to change a standing appointment, or when we call for a "fix job" on the spur of the moment. I look forward to my appointments with Jolly. The prices are great and she does a fantastic job on my nails and Christine does the same on my toes. they are flexible with scheduling and very efficient. BEST manicure I've ever had. Prior to my visit here, i had a really bad set of acrylics put on. It had only been a couple days, and I was ready to have them just taken off and new ones on. Lisa assured me that should could fix them, though. And she did! They went from thick, misshapen nails, to thin, natural looking ones. She was very detail oriented and I was VERY happy. read more
