Cute Mom and Pop cafe. The husband and wife were great as well. They have us great customer service. My hubby ordered the chicken gyro and I ate light getting the hummus plate. Both were enjoyable. Great place for Schnitzel!!! We had the King Sandwich with the Tripe Soup and Eggplant Salad for dipping and we are full and completely satisfied. We enjoy the Husband and Wife as they are super attentive and very caring. You can taste it in their food how much joy and pride they take in their creations. Great that they got Mac and Jack's too. All I tried was the Gyro , which the Kind gentleman said was the same recipe as the previous owners of Sunset Gyro at same Location. They were not the same in fact I would not order the Gyro again. It was clearly not the same since it had none of the traditional Greek Sauce, and instead had Hummus. It was not very good at all. I will how ever try the other items sometime just to see how they are. read more

What a find! Looking for brunch, we happened onto Sunset Bistro and went in. It is a distinctly Romanian restaurant with an all Mediterranean menu. The specialty is schnitzel, however I ordered cabbage rolls with polenta and a Greek salad. The salad was refreshing with lots of feta. Schnitzel was crispy and delicious. Cabbage rolls were cooked a long time and delightfully traditional. Dessert will be crêpes with apricot. We will be ordering gyro and shawarma in the near future. I was excited to see this place open, but I was incredibly disappointed. First of the owners or whoever the older lady that works there was rude. I was explaining to my friends that came with me that they have really good food and they sell crepes. The lady was stern and said they did not make them at the moment. I still ordered them. She walked to the kitchen and did not put gloves on and started cooking away. That's disgusting! My friends ended up not ordering and we left without our food. Nice people working there but I got dolma's to go, got them home and they had mold all under the bottom. Must not be the freshest place.

Place was clean. Food was good. But portions are very small so it is quite expensive for what you get. Most likely will not return unless they start serving larger portions or reduce their prices. read more

I am new to Romanian food, but I have loved it so far! Going here is like going to moms house. These people care about what they are doing, and they are proud of it. The other day I stopped by on the way home to pick up a shawarma (on my brothers recommendation). As i was waiting, mom gave me a small bowl of meatball soup to try. How cool is that? Super cool if it is delicious!! It was a clear, clean, savory broth, with a flavor between parsley and mint that I could not place. When I asked about it, it was an herb from home that they had brought with them. The meatball was tender and buttery. The schnitzel I've had there was solid, with well prepared fries on the side. And that shawarma I was talking about? Friggin awesome!! You had better show up with an appetite. Being right next to a weed store, I can't think of a better place to pick up munchies on the way home. Shawarma and weed? Hell yeah! read more

A hidden gem in the Renton Highlands area! Cabbage rolls were flavorful and comforting. My son was very happy with the chicken gyro plate with fries. Been here twice now. Both time the food was excellent. Not crowded and I'm surprised it isn't busier. The Sarmale cabbage rolls are excellent as are the stuffed peppers. Skinless sausages are also very good. read more

Food is delicious and service is friendly... 4 star due to no A/C. The humidity in the room makes it hard to enjoy the great food. Pricing is fair and portion is fair also. read more
