We came for brekkie before heading back to T. After a fun time at the Falls. You know when you are pkanning breakfast but iHop and Denny's are doubling up on Tourist Trappy dollars and you search for a place a smidge outside of Falls proper. So Sunset Grill was quite busy but we did get a large table in the back. Low carb options and greasy spoons dont always see eye to eye, ordered a greek omellete with tomatos instead of starch and bread, quite filling. Except I ordred egg whites which they might have forgot. Otherwise, service was great amd efficient amd am sure this will be our go to for times to come.-Zuk

The choc chip pancake was good ($5.30). We got an omelette with mushroom and Swiss cheese ($17.79), it barely had any salt. The potato's on the side were too salty. Wuda been perfect if they balanced the salt on the omelette & the potato wedges. They also gave buttery toast with jam which was good.

Good place to grab some breakfast or brunch. We ordered the three eggs breakfast with bacon and sausage and the sunset super with peameal bacon. The sunset super also came with 2 pancakes. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. We left full and had to take a pancake and the toast to go. The prices are average to other breakfast restaurants. Come early on weekends as it was busy when we got here at noon!

I've never been a huge breakfast guy, but Sunset Grill is the type of place that makes me love it. I came to the Niagara Falls location over the weekend while in need of a hearty breakfast before heading up to Toronto. I came with 3 other people and even though the place was pretty busy we were able to get a table right away. The menu here is pretty standard for a breakfast joint. It's got all the classics, plenty of combos, and all the coffee you could possibly want. I ended up ordering the peameal sandwich with home fries and it's the only thing on the menu that I'll probably ever want again. The food came out pretty quickly and it matched the excellent service we received throughout our visit. My peameal sandwich was absolutely delicious and practically had me drooling over my plate. Mix a delicious sandwich with some A+ home fries and you have a happy Steven. Overall, Sunset Grill is hands down the best breakfast chain in Canada and it will continue being my go-to when I'm near one. I highly recommend giving this place a chance, you won't be disappointed!

Great breakfast option in the area. They have all you breakfast classics. I have a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, it came with veggies and home fries on the side. We ordered and in less than 10 minutes our food was in front of us. The service was super quick. This was a great place to stop in the morning.

Wine tour!!!! However, my momma always told me that you should have something in your belly before drinking so.....whats better than the diner across the street from the pick up location AND they serve breakfast all day WINNING! So I ordered the Sunset Super because it came with everything; Three eggs, choice of bacon or sausages, two fluffy pancakes and home fries-YES We were a little bit on a time crunch since we were scheduled for take off with the wine tour in 30 min, so we asked the waitress if she could put a rush on the order (felt bad b/c this place was packed!). However, the food came out steaming hot. I always order my eggs soft, which they weren't when they came out but the waitress promptly took care of that! The eggs, sausage/bacon and home fries were to die for. The pancakes.......left much to be desired. They just tasted generic and the syrup was nothing special either. I would definitely go back and order everything EXCEPT the pancakes, the service was awesome. This will be definitely be my breakfast spot on my way to my next wine tour!

This was not the first time I had breakfast at Sunset Grill, in fact this franchise is literally everywhere (similar to IHOP in that regard). Also similar to IHOP is the pricing. Places like IHOP (Canada), Cora's, and Sunset tend to be much pricier than say a non-chain joint. The good news is you're going to get a great tasting breakfast, the bad news is you're going to pay more than it's worth. Let's start with the location: great spot and easily accessible via HWY QEW. Ambience: clean and friendly staff. You sit yourself but they welcome you with a warm smile and a greeting. The food: the home fries are more square-ish potatoes, seasoned nicely and not under or over cooked in any way. The meat portions to breakfast (if you're not getting the early bird special) are actually decent portions. They cost almost $6 on their own (see the menu side order pricing). The eggs come in threes in almost every option but you must order all three the same. I usually get two scrambled and one over easy (cause my kid loves to dip the yolk so this was a let down). Now the best part: the COFFEE! Sunset sells their own coffee bean bags so you know it's gonna be good coffee. I am so happy to go somewhere that offers breakfast with more than mediocre watered-down coffee. There are a lot of great diners in the area but most give you brown water disguised as coffee. The main reason I chose to eat here today was because they take credit card as a form of payment. It was a last minute split decision and sunset came up on top. Overall- we ate to our heart's content, kids loved it, food tasted great and after 4 cups of coffee I was ready to take on the Monday!

After getting our coffee (and a couple refills), the Chef yelled over asking what we wanted. Very casual. Well our breakfast were not only reasonably priced($6.99 canadian) but also huge. All made to order down to the potatoes being cut up individually with each order. Crazy as it sounds though was the Italian bread toast served with breakfast. It was outstanding! Early afternoon not long before they closed to break and then begin dinner service prep. We were the last brunch patrons of the day. Only critique might be on their ventilation system. It was a bit smoky in the dining area. Most likely coming from the kitchen. No burnt smell, just a bit of haze. Atmosphere was quiet (of course. There were only a few tables eating at that time) and cozy. Decor is very Parisienne. My wife has been to Paris and she recalled cafés just like this one. Stacy was our server. She was very nice and very friendly. Exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes and the story of the café. There was a sense of pride when she spoke of the café that did not go unnoticed. Food was delivered in good time. What was supposed to be hot was hot & cold, cold. We had: Thalassa (Galette) La Baraka (Crepe) La Complete (Galette) Cappuccino (2) Beer (local, Sleeman Original Lager) Bread with Butter & Strawberry Jam Suffice to say that EVERYTHING was delicious. That's, actually, an understatement. One bite of his La Complete and my brother in law said, "Dude, you gotta taste this!! And he was right..amazing." My dish was the Thalassa, because I adore smoked salmon. It was fresh, bright and it was my first time having caviar. I thought that I would love it and I did. Then, my wife's dish, the sweet La Baraka. O M G! Nothing like it. Sweet but not too sweet and come to find out from Stacy that all the components are made from scratch. The salted butter caramel & the Chantilly. Idk how it's made but I'm going to learn how to make that Chantilly. Soooo good! Also, the Cappuccino here is outstanding. My wife made the mistake of letting me try some. She had to order another! Delectable. The bread, of course, is House-made, as you'd expect. This was the kind of experience I look for, especially, when I travel. I would love to eat here again before we leave in a few days. We'll see.... There are many more experiences to have. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. 5/5
