I paid over $75 for a pedicure just for my gel polish to come off in a week. This have never happened to me at any other nail salon. The nail tech did not soak my feet until she was done filing and shaping my toe nails and placing the acrylic tip to my big toe. I'm used to coming in soaking my feet and then getting everything done. She didn't even allow the mail bed to dry enough before painting my nails. She also did not buff my toe nails before painting which is probably why my gel polish is just coming off day by day. I'm upset with this, this was not worth $75 and I don't see myself returning again. read more

Nail techs rushed leaving my nails unevenly shaped and the gel lumpy. I asked to get two of my nails redone because they were ridiculously lumpy and the lady got annoyed and rushed through it still leaving it lumpy. I got the crack on my toe nail fixed with acrylic and it was done sooooo wrong I wish the lady would've just told me she didn't know what she was doing instead of wasting our time, she was extremely nice and apologetic about it unlike the lady that did my hands who was irritated and dismissive. Well I took my mom to sunset nail lounge for Mother's Day and honestly it was a horrible experience. I wanted my mom to have a relaxing time and to be happy with her nails since today is Mother's Day . I paid over $300 dollars in total for the both of us. Very upset and when my mom had told the 2 lady's that were working on her that her nails were messed up and lumpy they told her "that's how your nails are" like really?? Terrible place to go and the priced we paid not worth it at all. Never going back again. read more

Their prices are slightly more than the other place I used to go and farther too but this place is aesthetically very pleasing on the eyes, has many other services offered and everyone is friendly and professionally courteous. I CAME IN 4/9/23 to get pedi - walked out looking like I could have did my OWN FEET!! Didn't properly clean my feet, I'm really big on shaping & I like a square look & looks nothing like that I'm going to have to go home and intensely file them again, she kept scrapping my toes on the light. No love put into my toes!! No shade but older women who KNOW THEY DONT DO THE BEST JOB AT TOES- JUST DONT DO THEM! I didn't get no massage either. I constantly had to sit up and watch her and tell her where she was messing up at, overall it was a stressful experience 4/10! They do a mid job well at least she provides mid services. If I could leave a -1000 I would. We were serviced Sunday 9/1, it is now Friday 9/6 and my mom has 3 broken nails and chipped polish on other hands. Not only did she pay $110 on a FILL . She didn't get what she wanted and expressed that and the nail tech said " no they're pretty " . Besides that, I called this morning and made my mom an appointment to have her nails fixed, they said they would do it free of charge because of all the issues. My mom sat there for almost an hour and was not serviced. Was completely ignored until she made the choice to get up and go. I called to see what happened and get their side because I understand things happen, but for the girl to say " well Jenny runs behind , sorry " with a smug tone , we will not be back . read more

First time there and not a great experience. They never asked me to pick out a color, I sat down at 2:04 and was walking out at 2:30 with gel pedicure. It was rushed. On website says free beverage with any service I was never offered or asked if I wanted something to drink. It was a waste of money. read more

I showed an example of what I wanted and the lady said she could do it. The ombré she attempted looked terrible. The example I showed had a flower and she chose to put a sticker on my nail. If I wanted a sticker I would ask for a sticker. I asked her to remove it and she started pulling my hands when doing my nails. If I wanted a rough hand massage I wouldn't be at the nail salon. She messed up the placement of the design on the nails because she was in a rush to finish. She had the audacity to charge me $80 for this when I have done nails and toes before at this same place for $130 including a 20% tip. I went to another nail salon to get it fixed and they let me know the lady from Sunset Nail Lounge used MMA! I saw the MMA come off of my natural nails! There is only one nail tech here that actually cares about your nails and running a proper business. The rest of them couldn't care less and just want you out of their chair as soon as possible. read more

I called in last min for a walk in and they welcomed me in! Lucy was my nail tech for my French tip gel pedicure. Both receptionist (didn't get his name) and Lucy were excellent and super friendly. The customer service and experience was exceptional. This is a higher end luxury nail spa, so the prices do reflect that accordingly. Very comfortable, clean, and modern. The gel pedicure package I chose was $75. The basic package is $55 with gel. You will splurge here but you will definitely feel the quality of the services you receive. They do offer other add ons and services in their menu. Overall, I had a great experience here at Sunset Nail lounge with my nail tech Lucy. My French tip pedicure was done very clean, she took care of the cuticles and was gentle, and gave me a good massage. I would definitely be a returning client and try it out again. read more

This is the best nail salon we've been to since moving to NV! Wonderful customer service by the guy running the place, he is accommodating whenever we call to try and fit us in during our time frame and even sometimes last minute. As a new and returning customer, we were given 10% off, which is suuuper appreciated! Always kind and helpful to me and my daughters individual needs. The technicians are all very skilled! My daughter wanted a specific design and they NAILED IT!! Hon and Tu (I'm not sure how she spells it) were amazing!! I got dip manicure and my daughter got gel manicure. They both took their time to make sure that our nails were perfect with regards to shape, thickness, color, etc. We will absolutely be returning here going forward. First off this place is very beautiful and felt very clean! Also was in a great location! I am not a person to complain and I wish I was but this review will do it for me. BUT, my service and experience was the worst I've ever had in a nail salon. I got a classic pedicure here and the girl didn't even say anything to me at first. Her nails were XL acrylics, like very long and I was worried from the start how she was going to even clean my toenails, but I just let it be because lots of women can do many things with long nails. She started doing my pedicure and she didn't even use tools to clean like every other person does when I get a pedicure. She used one of those electric nail filing machines to clean around and was burning my skin around my toes!!! It hurt so freaking bad!!! But that's all she used to clean my toenails, which I've never seen in all my years of getting pedicures. I asked to cut the toe nails and she DID NOT at all and all she didn't was file it down. ALSO the part I was EXTREMELY mad about, the classic pedicure was suppose to come with massage and hot towels and this lady did NOT give me that service at all!!!! My feet literally felt and looked the exact same as I came in, didn't feel clean at all and didn't get everything I paid for!!!! I usually tip good but this woman did not deserve any tip, as she was the most LAZY person I've ever met in a nail salon. I feel bad for any other customers who get her!!! I told the lady at the front desk after my appointment and then she asked if I want it right now as I was paying, and I said no because the lady already cleaned up, I know she would have been mad about it (even though it is her fault for not providing the service I payed for), and I just didn't want to cause any scene. Paid and left, the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon I would NEVER EVER come back here. read more
