My go to dispensary when I'm in the city. Usually always do the 1//2 oz for $79. Good customer service!

I WAS a longtime customer of this dispensary and introduced many new customers to them as well over the years, I even shopped here regardless when knowingly there were lower prices available at local dispensaries because that's what loyal customers do. But no more. I had a very bad experience there today that has ended my once good relationship with them and I feel compelled to let the world know about the ultra poor customer service that they provide to once "supposedly" loyal customers there. I had made it a habit to tip them everytime too why idk if they treat valued customers this way. I purchased a cart on online because pipeline texted me a sales flier. It had buy one & get one for a dollar deal. I called sunset pipeline in morning at 8:33am immediately after placing online order to advise them to save me the "promo" cart deal. The girl that answered told me she would throw one in the bag and make sure I "got the deal". So I rush there after work thinking I was going to pick up my order when they told me there was no such deal or sale going on. I then told them about the sales flier and the call I made in the morning to which they just nonchalantly told me "too bad" in lots of other words. I looked back at the flier that was sent to me and the deal I thought I had was for their other location in North Beach and not Sunset. Ok just a mistake on my part at looking at the sales flier real quick no problem if no deal I would've been ok with it. But the way the manager "Ivan" dealt with it was inappropriate, unprofessional, and not up to par with other dispensary managers in this industry. He simply told me, "ok sorry you feel that way have a nice day" nonchalantly in a smug manner basically told me to kick rocks even though it wasn't my mistake. Why didn't the girl that answered the phone at 8:33am tell me that she was gonna throw the promo in my bag so I can get the flier deal? Why didn't she tell me that it was only North Beach deal? I tried calling to confirm to avoid mistakes. I wish she would've told me I read the flier wrong I would've laughed and been totally ok with it. But the mannerisms displayed from the staff during this transaction is unacceptable if repeat customers is your goal. I wish they would've been more appeasing since their "representative that they pay to answer the questions over the phone gave me bad info in the morning despite me giving her my name and order. I read the flier wrong my bad- no big deal but the ultra shi*ty service/response I received from this gave me severe heartburn. Luckily Urbana Geary (Autumn Sour Diesel 30% thc - $21.00 / Himalaya 1g cart Live Resin $20.25 Dam good prices!) came to the rescue with bomb products at bomb prices to match! Urbana eased my heartburn. I will post this in every forum (facebook/insta/etc) and every online review outpost i can find to warn others that continued patronage at Sunset Pipeline will not be appreciated they won't apologize nor take responsibility for any mistakes their staff makes. It's a shame because they used to be really good I don't know what happened perhaps new managerial staff doesn't promote customer service/satisfaction anymore idk but it's a shame. I dont really know where to start with all the good things I want to say about this place..... The people here are just amazing and I mean everyone from the person checking you in at the door, the bud tender working at the register all the way to the security guards working the door. You walk in and they usually got some really nice old school jams playing. You are always greeted with a big smile. Prices are just amazing!!!! The first few times I came in, had no idea what I wanted and every time I got recommendations, I took them and let me tell you, NOTHING but fire. They have a great rewards program, weekly deals and deals on holidays as well. I live a block away from Urbana, which was Harvest and I still will go across the park just to see these guys. I mean you can literally do all you need to do on Irving and then go get your goodies to end the night. Cant wait to see the Barbary fam in a couple of days! read more

Every time I come into this place, prices are slightly raised. $22 for a joint one day, the next day $25 for the same. Not to mention they charge $15+ on 8th's you can literally drive 5-10 minutes away and get for cheaper. If you come here do it as a last resort and don't tip the bud tender. Its the only way to balance out their price gouging. If you don't believe, look into it yourself. It's pretty ridiculous. read more

Really nice place. Staff is quick and friendly, place is clean and open. Good spot. Doesn't have the heaviness of the one south of market. Online order system is the way to go. The menu is always updated and current. Great selection of product, high end and well priced. read more

Used to love this place when it was Barbary coast, not sure when ownership changed hands. Folks working here were nice and helpful but now certain staff here are dismissive and just plain unknowledgeable. Asked about the effect of certain products and got very generic answers. I asked the lady helping me if the reason that the tabs I bought a year ago didn't have any effect on me is due to their age, and she literally said that's not something she can answer, as it's a manufacturing and processing question. Dafuq? Otherwise, pricing is great and the folks working the door and front are very nice. read more

Barbary Coast Sunset has really perked up their physical location! The little swag shop they set up as you exit is wrong! LOL. Of course, I was "forced" to get a new "Sunset" logo hat before I left, since that's where we live out here. They have great hoodies and shirts. Delivery is awesome, as well! They even have glass pipe screens for delivery, you know, those little glass flowers for glass bowls. Awesome selection for delivery or pickup online. read more

My boyfriend called in an order at 6:15. We called back several times and kept hearing that they were on their way. We just got a call at 9;45 saying that they weren't coming. This has become my go to place for cannabis. They have a great selection of flowers and edibles. I typically either order ahead for pickup or have my purchase delivered. Using Alt36 makes payment for delivery so convenient. I started out with the Apothicarium, then Harvest, but now I only use Barbary Coast Sunset. I love that it is a short bike ride from my house. Overall a great place. Although I had the misfortune of having the store manager as my bud tender today. Their name is Addy. They are terrible at their job. I explained to them I was having trouble reading the discount menu. (I'm dyslexic therefor a little disabled in the reading department) Apparently that was enough for her to give me they worst weed buying experience of my life. Sky at Barbary Coast Sunset is the real deal! I am new to medical marijuana and she answered questions I didn't even know that I had! She had an amazing biochemical research background and explained in depth the chemical action of different products. If you drive across town to the Mission you can get the same product and an expensive burrito for the same amount of money. $35 for Jeeters in the Mission, $55 at Barbary Coast. And if you really want to see how grossly inflated their prices are, go to the open-air weed market in the Bayview. read more

Cool ass staff. Good place for first-timers, though for those who prefer to silently browse and shop, try Urbana in Richmond. You can browse without the human interaction. If you need guidance and have moderate to no knowledge on the products you're after, you'll need to go here. It's almost like a one on one experience with each transaction. read more

I stopped into Barbary Coast a few days ago for the first time after a friend recommended them and told me that they were still open during COVID-19. I originally figured I would have to place my order ahead of time, but when I called they advised that I could make my selections in person which was nice since I was a new customer. At the shop, an associate named Jayde took care of us and was was amazingly friendly and helpful, especially considering that we stopped in right before closing! We planned to buy 4 eighths but left with much more due to her wonderful service. Look forward to being a regular at Barbary Coast, thanks again! read more

Defienly 10/10!! ThIs place is my new favorite. I searched online for dispensary's nearby and this was the first to pop up . It was my first time time coming here and I called up first and I alreadky felt very very welcomed because the guy I talked to seemed so happy and positive and he even let this dig I dog sit come along . So I went down there with an adorable pooch called Carl by my side .it was awesome.When I got there they welcomed me and Carl , asked me for my ID and I got helped Rughg away after that and got some really good stuff that works supeR well for me / they are so helpful . 100 percent recommend. I'm so happy there's finally a dispensary in the Sunset. While I'm not always a fan of the flower menu compared to other dispensaries, it's decent enough, closer to my house and sometimes they have really sweet quarter specials with great strains.
