This is a small, newer dispensary located in the outer Sunset District of SF. They will be celebrating their one-year anniversary coming up in November! While the venue is small, the selection is not. They have a wide variety of everything, including vapes, edibles, concentrates, flower, and beverages! With THC drinks being an emerging market, they have a large fridge in the very back with a ton of options in all different strengths. The space is well lit, and the staff is all super friendly. Everyone from the security guard at the front (Jason), to the staff inside, made me feel welcome and informed. If you have questions, just ask! They are all very knowledgeable and willing to help answer questions and/or offer suggestions. Most all prices listed on items are "out-the-door", meaning all taxes are included. This is very helpful when trying to budget out how much you want to spend. The owner informed me that they usually like to do a special event on the 3rd Saturday of each month. This generally includes a live band, and a food truck! He will often have brands come out and do demos/offer specials on various products. Parking can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. This is mostly a residential neighborhood, with some stores and restaurants nearby. It's mostly all street parking, but easy to find free spots on one of the Avenues. I definitely recommend checking out HYRBA if you're anywhere within the vicinity. Even if not, it's worth the trip out for the great selection and service! They often have deals and specials, so try to take advantage of those if possible. Hours are 9am - 9pm, daily. Must be 21+ to enter with valid, physical ID. Great selections and very well stocked. You can walk through and pick things you needed. No need to ask the counter to grab it for you. Pre roll on the other hand is behind the counter tho. Great selections on lots of things here. Friendly employees and clean well kept areas. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. That's good since I like friendly ppl. The value is in the middle as far as pricing goes. Unfortunately the parking around here is crap! Busy neighborhood and it reminds me of what portrero hill was back in the 90's. This is my first time at this dispensary and I will NEVER go to this dispensary ever again. I walk in the door and the security guard mumbles "welcome in" depressingly without looking at me. I guess he was looking down at his phone. I give out my ID and he still doesn't even acknowledge me. He hands it back (still not looking up) and says "leave the bag at the door" This was very strange to me. I've been to many dispensaries around the city and I've NEVER been asked that before because the selection is normally behind the counter/glass. There were no hooks to put my bag, I would have had to leave my clean bag on a dirty bench where people sit. I find that disgusting and completely unsanitary. It is also unsafe because someone could simply walk in and grab the bag from the entrance. The entrance is close to the bench at the front and clearly the security guard that was on his phone and can't even bother to look up and give a new customer the common decency to be greeted correctly wasn't going to notice if my bag was stolen. Also, it was a crochet bag. I asked the security guard "really? It's a crochet bag, you can literally see right through it" He said "if you want to complain, you can go somewhere else." SRSLY? So I looked at the staff behind the desk and said the same thing. They continue to repeat how "it's a policy." That is the most idiotic policy I have ever heard of. Why dont they put the selection behind a glass? Why are you punishing new customers because someone else is stealing? It's like you are treating every customer like they are a criminal! Why do I have to pay for someone else's problem plus the problem of the establishment? FIX YOUR OWN PROBLEMS! Put the selection behind a counter like most dispensaries! I take pride in my personal belongings. I would never leave something of mine on a dirty public bench. You can look at it and tell it is not clean or sanitary! The person behind the desk finally said "it's fine just for this one time" Thank God! The "budtender" seemed apprehensive towards me for not wanting to adhere to their insane store policy. She hardly helped me when I asked about the edible selection and I could feel her animosity and passive aggressiveness. I went to the desk to pay and my card didn't work. I have a regular bank card from a regular popular bank. It obviously had money on it. Why are your machines not working? Now I have to go to the ATM? Why is that? It just seems like problem after problem with this place. I ended up paying with cash. After I left I realized the edibles were 3 months old. Yeah it's my bad I didn't check before purchasing but honestly the back and forth about the bag plus the rude attitude of the security guard AND rude staff really irritated me and I honestly forgot to check. Loved this place! We were traveling and wandered in for some relaxation tools, and absolutely found them. The woman who assisted us was personable, made great recommendations, chatted with us about local places to visit, and the store is clean and beautiful and well stocked. This place is great! It feels more like a corner store where you can look around for what you want unlike other places where everything is behind the counter. The layout of the place is easy to navigate and their selection never disappoints. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable. They've always got some sort of deal of the day too!
