We finally tried this place and we are so glad we did. The food was so fresh and hot and everything was so yummy! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the tofu was so full of flavor not bland as all. The Mongolian beef was so delicious and the beef was tender ! So many onion and a good portion of beef. We also got crab Rangoon but we ate them up and forgot to take pictures. This is going to be our new favorite go to for Chinese take out. Next we will try the Thai food as well! They only have take out or delivery at this time and that's fine with us! It was worth the drive. Please try this place you won't regret it! 5 stars!

I had a to go order and it was ready in 10 mins from the time I called. Very quick service and food was very tasty. Each side came with white rice. This will be my regular place for Chinese. The inside is small with just a couple tables and dark. Great for to go orders.

I had a craving for some mango sticky rice! Yes, that was the basis for this outing lol. I decided to get some fried rice accompanied by spring rolls. The decision to try this spot was my best choice yet! The rice was so flavorful with just enough spice. The spring rolls were very fresh. Hot out the grease. But the mango sticky rice was the mvp. This is one of my favorite desserts and they did it well here! Give them a try and tell them ASH SAID IT SENT YA! #ashsaidit

The food is okay, the service is good, and the place is clean. However, the rice came with a free "object." We're not sure what it is, but we noticed it just as we were about to finish the rice. ‍

I've been craving pad thai for awhile so I had my husband call and place the order. He ordered pad thai and chicken pad see u. When I arrived, they had a sign that they do not allow dine in, only take outs available. Which I respect and fine with. Our order was already tied in a bag and I assumed my order would be correct. The lady at the counter told me to order online next time through chownow because it is easier. I was excited to get home and eat it only to open it to curry chicken, not pad thai... My husband called to complain and the lady admitted it was her fault and was told we would get credit for it next time we order. I'll update my review next time I order. Padseeu was heavy on the sauce so it was salty. Curry chicken.. it was my first time so I can't compare with any other curry chickens but I personally wouldn't order it again.

Before COVID we were regular lunch customers. Since COVID I was using the Panda app when we wanted Chinese, but then decided to try the take out from Sunshine. Two weeks in a row now and everything has been great. Portions: One meal is two meals at least, maybe three. I won't be using the Panda app anymore. Leave these guys a good tip! read more

I have visited this location 2x and honestly I'm a fan. It's your standard American-Chinese flair with some Thai. I have tried both the Chinese and Thai dishes and prefer their Chinese. I have sampled their House Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, Masaman Chicken, Paid Thai, Egg Drop, and Hot and Sour. The Masaman and Pad Thai left something to be desired but I absolutely love the House Fried Rice and Mongolian Beef. First of all, they don't skimp you on your shrimp in the fried rice. Second of all, the Mongolian Beef pieces are HUGE and will make you take some home for some snack later on (I had their lunch portions). When I went this past Sunday for lunch, their soups were pretty lukewarm. Only wished it was hotter. Service is great. The man and woman who worked the front of the house always checked it on us and made sure we liked everything. Will come back again for sure. read more

Food was ready at the time specified. Fresh ingredients. After driving home, which took approximately 30 minutes, the food temperature was still relatively hot. Been here three times for lunch, usually with my fiance'. Food is VERY tasty and always cooked perfectly. It's quaint on the inside and the servers are always wearing smiles. Prices are pretty standard for Asian lunch specials and the portions are plentiful! It's my "go-to" place for Chinese food in Suwanee! If you're hungry and close, you should give it a go. read more

I ordered 2 orders of their fry chicken and just by looking at it they looked old. Me and my mom ate them anyway and soon after I felt nauseous. It had a weird after taste and we both had diarrhea. Now every time I drive by the place I get disgusted. If your gonna eat here please make sure the food is fresh. Make sure the cooks are doing there job! The place was empty so there's no excuse! read more

Ive been here about 4 times and the service is always great. Its kind of a little lo-key place but the servers are really nice and attentive. The food is always well cooked for me and is very hot. I usually get the sesame shrimp which is really good! Definitely recommend! The big flatscreen is cool and I do think the decor could use an upgrade but don't let that take away from it. read more

For the pasta portion, we went with carbonara pasta, and it was good! Creamy and paired pretty well with donkatsu, which normally has a different type of sauce with it. We also got the UFO fried rice to share. It was filling, and I highly recommend it with egg, cheese, and corn over sauce. That being said, not a fan of the lot to get here. It's got a bit of an decline/incline, not the worst I've experienced, but still something that I took note of. At least my car didn't hit the ground with a scratch like another place I've been to. Leaving can be difficult if it's a busy time with lots of cars, but it's not too bad... I just know I'm not the best driver.

They charge $5 for their croissant, which was where it falls short. If it were the best croissant I ever had, perhaps. No substitutions. Always hated this rule for every restaurant, but I get it if you have a special and hundreds of customers. We were one of 3 parties on a weekday brunch, super slow. We also ordered the traditional breakfast and a kids breakfast. But instead of bacon, we wanted a croissant for the kids meal. They are both $5 in the menu when ordered separately. First the server said they didnt know (weird) then said they would check and left for 5 minutes. The answer was no. So I paid an extra $5 and added a croissant. I ate the bacon, which improved my salmon Benedict. But neither the croissant nor bacon felt like $5. Kids meal is now the cost of a regular. So I recommend if you dont want any substitutions, try this place. I wont be coming back. It really irks me that you cant just put bread instead of bacon on a kids meal. You aren't a robot, and you are not busy. You are also not getting me as a patron anymore. P.S. the Croissant alone was not worth $5. I rate it a 3 out of 5 on its own.

I'm sad to have to lower their overall score. I brought my boyfriend here yesterday because the first time was nothing short of perfect. This time, however, was not so good. Our server was kind of rude. I get that he's busy, but waiting as long as we did for the check was a bit irritating. The main problem I had with this visit is my boyfriend finding a long, brown hair in his food. (My hair is light blonde and his hair is short and brown.) I was hoping to wow him with this visit but I was kind of disappointed this time around. I'll probably try again but I was not as satisfied with this visit. Hope it was just a bad day. As a former restaurant owner, I know how difficult it is to consistently deliver good food and service, which made my experience at Sunshine Chinese Restaurant even more impressive. Although it's a small place, it has a welcoming atmosphere and the food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and you can tell they care about quality and consistency. The staff was friendly and attentive, something I always pay attention to from my years in the restaurant business.
