She made twice daily visits, tried to lure my scaredy cat boys out of their hiding places, and gave me daily updates with pictures. What a wonderful facility!…read more My bf and I were going to be out of town for the weekend and we didn't have anyone who could watch our dog. After doing some research, we found Paws Chateau and thought it was worth giving a try due to the many positive reviews. I really liked that they had an initial first meeting/temperament test to see how your dog plays with other dogs. They had a board in the front welcoming him, which was so cute!! Our dog is very playful and he's a husky mix so he likes to play rough so I was pretty worried that it might be too much. Turns out I was worried about nothing because he played just fine! They had a tv in the drop off area for you watch the play area! That first day was also a free day camp/daycare day which was amazing. They told us we could come back in a couple of hours to pick him up so that was nice. Upon picking him up, they had a report card with comments of how he did. He was knocked out that night. Day comes where we leave him for the weekend. The drop off time is after 3PM so he did get some play time in. We had opted for the deluxe suite since that had a camera in his room and we were able to watch him overnight. He was pretty stressed that first night and was in and out of sleep, which had me worried as it was his first time boarding. But as the days passed, he definitely got better and would sleep through the nights just fine. When we dropped him off, I had asked if they could give him a bath when we picked him up and they were able to do that! I didn't ask for the price but honestly they did a great job. He smelled so good after. They had a promo at the time where if he stayed three nights consecutively the fourth night was free so we did that. So in total, it was $311 for four nights and one bath. They also had a report card for this stay which is now on the fridge. Honestly no boarding is perfect imo. But this place comes pretty close. I would absolutely come back again in the future because riku had such a great time!

She was able to accommodate us last minute and was so helpful and kind to our pups. Both of our pups are anxious and need extra patience when being handled. We were able to come in and be with them during the process since it was their first time - and at the end, our puppy who would normally scream and yipe when getting his nails cut was actually starting to relax a tiny bit. Definitely some progress that we hope will get better with time.

This update is a bit overdue (this happened last year in April of 2025), but it's been a very tough…read moretime. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

The one on the left had the smaller dogs, and the one on the right has the bigger dogs. I could be wrong, but it looked to me like the Big Dogs were cavorting on artificial grass... sometimes hot in the summer sun, but both sides had an overhang for shade . LOTS of big dogs. I was told they could have a total of 50 dogs at a time. My dog weighs 10 pounds, I was not able to view that play area through the one small window. I can't imagine leaving my dog someplace where I couldn't see where they would be kept during the day to play, nor were there cameras mentioned do as to watch the dog during the day. I was allowed to see the kennel area, which was appeared aged, dark and smelled heavily of well, dog! They must be doing something right based on the number of dogs! And, to be fair, my neighbor just loves this place. Maybe I missed something. For me, depressing, and dank. Your mileage will hopefully vary.
