Don't sleep on this local pizza joint! My husband and I dropped by to pick up a few pizzas to have with friends while passing through the area. We were glad to see there was a private parking lot with plenty of open spots. The pizza shop is super cute with classic pizza parlor seating and also noticeably clean. I am a clean freak myself and get freaked out by grimy restaurants but Sunshine Pizza gets an A+ in cleanliness! We ordered at the counter with the sweetest friendliest worker ever! We picked up a large ultimate, large Hawaiian delight, and an order of breadsticks with pineapples (a secret menu item). They offered a variety of unique drinks in the fridges but we didn't opt to get any drinks this time. The food came out quickly and piping hot. I kid you not, we saw a puff of steam when we opened the pizza box. Ultimate: this is almost like the combo pizza at Costco! If you're nostalgic for the bell peppers, olives and pepperoni, this is for you! Hawaiian Delight: this pizza blew our socks off! The pineapple is apparently fresh, not canned. My mouth is watering when I think back on this pizza. The sweetness of the pineapple alongside the slices of ham are chef's kiss! Pineapple breadsticks (secret menu item?): I didn't think anything could top the Hawaiian delight pizza but these breadsticks are punching above its weight class. I don't know what's in these and idk how to describe what makes them so good but you must try them if you're coming here! We can't wait to stop by to get more pizza and perhaps try a few of their unique drinks next time we're around that side of town. read more

This little hole in the wall was a welcomed surprise. Lovely customer service. They stop serving dine in at 4pm, my party of 5 came in unknowingly, but the nice lady let us dine in. We each ordered a calzone of various toppings, some wings, and a salad. The food was delicious and super fresh. The cheese was definitely the star of the show. This is legitimate five star Pizza location. All of the positive things that people have said about this place are true. The customer service is super friendly and cheerful. The restaurant is clean. The prices are super reasonable, and the pizza was delicious! I found the crust to be just right, perhaps a little more sauce would have been better, but that's a personal preference. They certainly gave more toppings than I'm used to at any other location. My wife ordered the Hawaiian pizza with the specially marinated pineapple, and she went through the pizza like a wood chipper! It was delicious. There's plenty of parking. Not a bad pizza. I usually stop by for one of my favorite poke spots in this plaza. I was originally craving a pizza but didn't want to spend hella money in downtown for one so I settled for poke but lo and behold I saw this pizza spot and was like why not. The prices are good here, you do get value here. I thought it would suffer because of the prices but nope this was a pretty good. I went with the Hawaiian. Crispy, soft crust, no salt on the toppings or doe which was a major plus. The first bite impression was there, it had that pizzeria taste and even survived the reheat test. You do need to eat it while it's hot though. The topping were cool. For the price it was cool. It's a pretty good pizza place. Friendly staff, it seems like it's a mother daughter duo here running the show. I will definitely come back and try another pizza along with the cheese sticks. I don't usually crave pizza when I'm on my period, but I was surprised by how much I ended up eating! It was probably because the pizza wasn't super oily like most places which meant it was easier on the stomach and also easy to handle. You can tell the ingredients are fresh too - all the vegetables have a slight bite and the flavor profile is bright, just like their name. They didn't skimp out on flavor in the crust, either. I usually only eat crust out of fear of waste but this crust was actually an enjoyable one. I'm also a big tomato sauce enthusiast and theirs is ADDICTIVE. Not overly herby or sweet, but fresh and also tangy. I don't know what's in it but it's not your average canned pizza sauce, that's for sure! We got the calzone to go to have for lunch the next day but just from its looks, it is not only large, worth the value, and STUFFED with filling. I can't wait to try it!
