Food is amazing !!! Local Thai Spot, first time here. Their food is delicious! Service is friendly and fast! Restaurant decor and vibe is also on point! Very happy this restaurant is so close to our house. We ordered : beef panang curry , chicken pad Thai, shrimp hot pot and oyster pancake. I think besides the curry which is B+, Everything else is super delicious !!! We will definitely be back. Place is good for date night or family night out, great atmosphere! Price: Friendliness: Deliciousness:

Small place but very homey. Friendly quick service. Food was 10/10 We didn't order alcoholic drinks. But the drinks we got were very good and refreshing. Calamari was crispy and hot. Food was flavorful and delicious. Will return soon !

Curry Puffs. $10. Nice presentation. They liked it (and from the bit I tried, I did also)

I was at this excellent Thai restaurant a good while ago with a small group of people after a long walk with ShoreWalkers. Our group was quite hungry as we had just walked maybe 14-16 or so miles, and I looked up the local spots around where we finished, and this lovely place popped up. We arrived pretty early for lunch, and there was already a handful of people here, but by the time we left, it was crowded. The inside has a nice design, almost reminding me of the old markets in Bangkok back when I was there. The female server we had was very friendly, giving recommendations to the people in our group who were less familiar with Thai food or helping them decide between dishes. I will note, though, that we were unaware of the lunch menu until post-meal, but that was fine with me as I left happily full. While I only had one dish and a bite of an appetizer, I would definitely go back here, and I wish it were closer, as I found this spot a gem among the many Thai spots. Someone else ordered the Curry Puffs for $10, with homemade puff pastry, ground chicken, potato, and onion with cucumber relish, as an appetizer. The dish arrived with three puffs, and I had a tiny bit of one of the parts as I wasn't sharing this dish. From the little I tasted, the puff was standard, but good, with a lightly spiced filling. The cucumber relish was slightly sweet as expected. The presentation was also nice, as there was a piece of watermelon radish as well as some sliced carrots. My main dish was the $16 Sukhothai Spicy Pork Noodle Soup with thin rice noodles, handmade pork meatballs, roasted pork, long beans, bean sprouts, peanuts, dried shrimp, and boiled egg. The dish arrived with a cracker with their logo on it, which was a fun touch, though it was soon dipped into the broth. The broth was slightly rich and quite porky as expected, and was mildly spicy. As per many other traditional Thai spots, though, they gave the usual mix of chilies and chili sauces, so soon, the spice was to my liking. The pork meatballs had a bit of bounce, and the roasted pork had good flavor. The rest of the vegetables and peanuts added a good crunch. The noodles were plentiful, and while I prefer egg noodles or thicker rice noodles found in other Thai soups, as they grab onto the broth better, they worked here. The rest of the people enjoyed their more generic dishes, ranging from green curries to Pad Thai to Pad Kee Mao/drunken noodles. I wish this place were closer, as I would definitely go back. The ratings are high, but justified.

Lunch specials are available daily. Portions are the same as dinner (accdg to the menu) and comes with a choice of appetizer (chive dumplings are my first choice) or soup (wonton soup only had 1 wonton and greens). Green curry fried rice was different, and I preferred over the sriracha one. The curries are served in a small pot, with a side of rice. Choice of crispy pork belly available for protein choice and they give a good amount (though no longer crispy when in the curries).

Sup Thai Kitchen is conveniently located near my alma mater & I frequented it a lot when I went to school. It's nice to see that the quality of the food is still great & the prices are still reasonable. I'm a big fan of their soups especially the tom yum soup with shrimp. All in all, this place is great (do be wary that it is a small space though so might not be great for big groups).

AMAZING!!!!! Came from Miami to see our daughter who is a Student-Athlete at St John's University... She was hungry so we took a walk and stumbled upon this INCREDIBLY AMAZING THAI RESTAURANT!!! They had us at HELLO! We sat immediately, and were greeted by the cutest, friendliest staff! We glanced over the menu, placed our order. The service was incredible and fast! Water, wine and appetizers!! Mango salad, Steamed Dumplings. OMG! Honestly! I'm from Miami, I have a Mango tree in my back yard! This salad was incredible!! Dumplings Devine!! Followed up by Pad Thai with chicken and Tom Yum Noodle Soup! We sounded like crazy people constantly saying how delicious everything was! We ended the night with mango sticky rice... Little bit of crunchy, great flavor, not overly sweet but a perfect end to a great night I have been to many restaurants, but this little tiny Thai Hole in the Wall was definitely at the top of my list Ambience is quaint, tables, booths, good, lighting, cute murals...

This meal was super flavorful and definitely hit the spot! You know a place is good when you are not even hungry before arriving and still eat your fill. The poke jerky was super good and I loved that it was paired with a serving of sticky rice. The pad kee mao had the perfect texture and the sweet sausage perfectly contrasted the savory dish. The noodles were nice and bouncy and it was devoured in seconds. I'm not usually a curry fan but the Green Curry had the perfect amount of heat and just made you want to continue eating. My favorite from the table was the sweet sausage pad Thai. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the lime made the noodles nice and tangy but it still had a sweet essence. I will definitely be ordering this dish again the next time I am craving Thai food. And last but definitely not least, the Mango sticky rice was hugeeee! That is definitely not a complaint, instead it is a compliment because I love mango sticky rice. I was stuffed by the time the dessert came out and we ordered TWO! But the sticky rice was perf rely sweet and went well with the slightly tarty mangos. The presentation was also beautiful, definitely a work of art! The service was nice and d quick and we all enjoyed our time at the restaurant.

Craving some authentic Thai food?! This cute corner spot near St John's University has some legit Thai food with a good vibe. Place is cute but a bit small inside. Just ordered some food to go and it hit the spot! The Recommend the Thai shrimp donuts that were delish!

I think this place is so cute. The staff is so nice. Most of all the food is really yummy. Today we got the Sup appetizer sampler, an order of Tom Yum noodle soup with seafood and an order of red snapper and a garlic sauce. We got mango sticky Rice for dessert to go.

I was so ready to give a five star review based on my previous visits, but today (Sunday) felt off I've been here many times with my partner and the flavors have always wow'd us. I'm not sure if they recently replaced their chef or they have a different chef working weekends, but everything tasted noticeably different in a bad way. For the shrimp dumpling, they added a new seed ingredient that feels like I have plastic stuck in my teeth when chewing. The Thai iced tea had a weird roasty aftertaste. The pad see ew has pepper seasoning now (used to not) and it was very visible and not subtle at all. It overpowered the usual pad see ew that would taste sweet and pleasant. Both my partner and I agreed that everything tasted different, and we've been here more than 5 times in the past 3 months. Idk. I'll try again in the future on a weekday in case this was a fluke. Disappointed today.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is absolutely delicious and very authentic. The vibes are excellent and alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are amazing. All the servers are very nice and helpful in making recommendations and providing great service. I definitely recommend you come and try the food.

Ran into this gem by an accident today and it was a pleasant experience full of smiles and great food. My favorite things on the menu was their thai milk tea, spicy short rib curry noodle , the tum yum soup, and fried ice cream. If I could describe their food; I would say it feels like a warm hug so comforting and filled with love. Definitely coming back every time I'm in town! Also, prices are very reasonable. No complaints

Excellent food, service and ambience. I absolutely love the new menu as well. All the tables were occupied - speaks volume of the quality of the food.

I was one of them when I first visited this restaurant about a decade ago and did so during my recent session again. Though they may be one of the best options for traditional Chinese food in the area, comparing them to restaurants in Flushing would land them on the lower end of the spectrum. With that said, they do certain things relatively well, namely the dumplings. I prefer their pan fried dumplings over the boiled because of the skin texture. For some reason, the boiled ones felt a bit tough and chewy, while the pan fried dumplings were better, especially since it has a crispy crust on the bottom. Fillings I have tried are chive & pork, as well as cabbage & pork. Both were quite good and stuffed to the brim. I also do like their wontons with spicy sauce, which has a shrimp & pork filling. Also plump and juicy, these wontons are quite delicious. The sauce is not really all that spicy, but flavorful. As for other items I have tried, most were not bad but below average. That includes the Dan Dan Mein, Beijing Style Noodles, and the Sesame Pancake with Beef. One thing I would recommend to skip would be the Hot & Sour Soup, which was neither hot or sour. If you are in the neighborhood and craving some dumplings or wontons, then seek out this little shop. However, if you want any other types of Chinese food, I would advise you to skip.

The dumplings are so addicting too. Especially since I don't like the hard skin but they use a thin wrapping for their dumplings (like their wontons) which I love. For the lo mein, I loved the option to add beef stew sauce to the noodle. The extra charge is so worth it! Maxi's Noodle 2 definitely deserves my Yummylicious Stamp of Approval! Two thumbs up! The Chinese beef stew makes a great compliment to a bowl of steamy noodles with tender slices of beef flank and beef tendons (my favorite part). Noodle dishes can also be ordered Hong Kong style on a plate with broth on the side. We also get a dish of boiled vegetables with oyster sauce to round out our meal (usually baby Chinese Broccoli or choy sum). The menu has expanded since the last time we were here with new side dishes like curry fish balls and braised shiitake mushrooms that you can get over noodles or a la carte. There are even bubble teas now! If you like, you can even get a box of fried fish skin to go. Just remember that you have to bus your own table.

It started as soon as we walked into the restaurant; there was an unfortunate water leak dripping down from the ceiling, right by the entrance. The staff put a bucket below a huge water bubble that had formed in the ceiling, to catch the drips... but you had to walk around it to get into the restaurant. Kind of weird that the staff didn't think of getting from a hardware store, one of those tarps that catches ceiling leaks and diverts the water thru a hose to a bucket... that isn't in the way of customers entering the restaurant. Anyway, we sat down, and ordered an old favorite dish, and decided to try a new one. The old favorite is the House-made Fish Cake Pho (Pho Cha Ca)! The kitchen staff hand makes the fish paste from scratch, with some kind of super addictive & flavorful spices, and I've really enjoyed it in the past. We also decided to try the Shaking Beef Rice (Com Bo Lac Lac) for the first time. Unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing. The fish cake in the pho looked and tasted like typical frozen type you can get at any Asian market... and was confirmed when we asked the staff. Where's my ATF fish cake?!? The beef cubes in the rice dish were (a) super overcooked (like beef jerky level chewy) and (b) the sauce was way, way too salty. We also noticed the restaurant manager, Ngan, wasn't working that night. Perhaps all these problems happened because she was away on holiday? And Pho99 will be back to its usual spectacular food after she returns?

As I sat in silence I checked my email waiting for my order fulfillment and arrival. This business is a local cafe, not quite a restaurant but very Asian specifically a medley of Chinese dumplings and heavy Japanese decor atmosphere. I was very bewildered of this dumpling business is Japanese or Chinese cuisine, or possibly both incorporated? Asian fusion? Japanese beckoning cat, maneki-neko 招き猫, is heavy presence for decor atmosphere throughout the entire cafe. There is one large Japanese beckoning cat with one paw raised in a beckoning gesture by the cash wrap register. This beckoning cat is adorable! The menu is very simple offerings but does not describe the contents in detail. It is not a extensive list as it is a cafe. The server/cashier advise to order first, sit to eat and pay last like a full service restaurant. This business has been listed in my Yelp bookmark to try for a long time. The slightly warm temperature has teased me to induce Spring Fever as the first full day post Daylight Saving Time, 2026 and I was outdoors for walk as exercise. Sauces and condiments are available at a station counter. There is one large TV. Background music is somewhat loud audible and sourced by Spotify. Customer service is average. There is one unisex facility on the premise and is relatively clean. There is a small parking lot in the front shared with neighboring businesses. This business is located in a small shopping complex named Metro Plaza. Chicken dumpling noodle soup, $12.00 The dumplings were pan seared fried, unfortunately not traditionally boiled especially for noodle soup. The dumplings are average. The noodles were rice vermicelli with half boiled egg and scallions in Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen soup base broth. The Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen soup base broth and half boiled egg is a replica of Japanese Ramen noodle soup. It was served piping hot. Chinese soup spoon Tangzhi ladle where the end is at a angle is provided with one disposable wooden chopstick as utensils. Jasmine Tea, cold $1.50 This was awful! It was one tea bag filled with ice. I did not taste the Jasmine aromatic flavor. Stay away from ordering any drink as Song Dumpling Cafe is good for dumplings. It is certainly no bubble tea business to obtain quality Chinese tea. After my MTA NYC Transit SBS Q52 bus ride, I walked from Woodhaven Boulevard moving east on Metropolitan Avenue to gain access.
