Extremely good services even though it was very busy at the time we got in. I like the Thai decor they had put throughout the entire restaurant. Food was amazing everything was great and flavorful. I absolutely recommend the Crab Meat Fried Rice. I had the Short Rib Khao Sai which was really good and it wasn't that spicy and the meat was really tender. When you combine the different texture of both the noodle on top and the in the soup was interesting. My Wife had the Tom Yum Noodle Soup was really good too has a wonderful flavor of spicy and sourness. This place is one of those go-to comfort places for me. One of the reasons is they have an awesome tom yum soup and I'd say it's my favorite tom yum soup in all of Queens so far. Never tried Sup Thai in the four years I went to SJU. Thought it was time to give it a try. Chive Pancakes: MY FAVORITE APPETIZER EVER I will get chive pancake at every Thai eatery I visit. These were nice and crispy on the outside. I would've liked the sauce to be a little sweeter but still delicious. Massaman Curry w/ Chicken (slices): Served in a cute lil pot that holds more than it looks...couldn't finish all the curry so I'll have lunch tomorrow. Rich, coconut flavor wasn't overpowering, great portion for the price. Pad See Ew w/ Ground Chicken: My friend ordered this, pretty standard and hard to mess up. Tub Tim: Honestly decently strong. Frozen Gems: My friend's drink--it was good but separated very quickly. Give it a little stir before you drink it. Cute place but very small. We had to wait a few minutes for a table on a Friday night (expected and we were totally fine with that) but there are tables right up against the door. My friend and I awkwardly stood over other tables while we waited for our table. Once seated, there was about 8 inches between the tables--you will be very close to others. Reminder to be mindful of that. Servers are very attentive and you are greeted immediately upon arriving. Update: Following my initial review, the manager, Apple, reached out to me and said there may have been a mistake with the drunken noodles I ordered. I was given a credit to try the dish again, to what I ordered as far as the thai spice level. I went back on a Sunday, early evening. Good number of folks eating in, both outside and inside. Apple came out, greeted me, and promised the drunken noodles I ordered again would be exactly what I was looking for. And boy, it was absolutely delicious! Perfect level of heat and the flavor was on point. I was given a side of the chili sauce in case i wanted more heat, but it was not needed. Apple surprised me with a thai iced tea, which was great too, I enjoyed the tea flavor and sweetness. 5 stars for the service from Apple and the delicious food I have had so far. We went here the day after Christmas for dinner. We have 4 adults, a teen and a 1-year old. It's a very intimate dining room but we could smell the food from the street as we walked up. Parking was pretty good. We found street parking in the surrounding neighborhood and walked a few minutes. This is a great spot for a larger group but definitely call ahead a make a reservation. The outdoor seating area is right on the side walke but seemed to have plenty of space if you were to sit outside. Once we walked in this, we were greeted by the hostess and seated in the area that was blocked off for us. Within five minutes we were our drink, as well as our food orders were actually taken at that time. They also were able to assist us with making something separately that was a little bit more simple for the baby although they did charge us for like a full like adult meal. It still worked out though all the food was flavorful they do serve as things are prepared so the appetizers came out within five minutes main dishes started coming out. I would say within 7 to 8 minutes from there, and then the drinks were also brought in around the same time so it's a lot of activity initially, but the staff do leave you alone to enjoy your meal while they're still checking up on you I forgot to take images because we were so hungry, but all the food was flavorful. They did include the tofu in the shrimp pad Thai that one of my daddy had she didn't mind but she wish she had known so she could expect it outside of that, no other complaints I had the time Yum noodle soup. It was a little bit more acidic than I'm used to not as much of the traditional flavors, but it was still really really good and just what I needed for the cold winter night Overall great dining experience and I would definitely come here again and try other dishes . read more

Update: Oh man, this experience has gotten bad to WORSE. The owner tried to reach out to find out who the staff was doing it. After I told her she should educate all her staff & chefs as this action requires the chef to be complicit as well. She turned around and told me "We'd like to clarify that while red curry and green curry share similar ingredients, they are distinct dishes with their own flavors, and We want to assure you that we never reuse or modify dishes in the manner you described. If a mistake happens, the incorrect dish is discarded, and we prepare a fresh one every time to our customers." Now why would you arrogantly say you never reuse/modify the dish, when you are not even aware of the situation? It was so blatant that the dish was reused and modified. How do I know? The dish was made and returned to the table within a minute. The SAME pot was used. There's still green curry splash marks on the side of the pot. When tasting it, it tastes like green curry with some hints of red curry, which is a really weird taste. The color of the curry is a lot lighter than a typical red curry. Also I cook & eat all sorts of curry about 50 times a year, so ummm yeah, I would totally know if a curry is switched or not mixed right. Arrogance starts from the top. Now I could understand why the staff just reuse the curry. I would never come here again, even after the owner tried to buy us off with a $20 credit. read more

Service is nice and attentive, clearing out finished plates and checking on how things are. I have dined in and ordered delivery/takeout. The lunch special is a great deal since the entree portion size is the same as a regular order. My go to is the Green Curry Fried Rice w/ Ground Chicken, and the Chive Pancake. I love that the green curry flavor is mixed into the rice, instead of a sauce over plain rice. It's got the right amount of kick to it. Ground chicken goes well with the fried rice. The Chive Pancakes could use more chive flavor, but it's a great crispy exterior with a vinegar-y dip to balance that fried exterior. The Papaya Salad is a refreshing and crunchy appetizer but has a lot of liquid (good if you like the dressing). Good size for sharing. The Sup Colada is tropical with a lot of mango bits. Helps cool off the spice! The Lychee Thai Iced Tea is on the sweet side for me, but I like that it has actual lychee in it. With so many Thai spots around, Sup Thai is definitely worth checking out. SUP Thai Kitchen is a cute neighborhood Thai restaurant that serves great Thai food. I've dined here on two occasions and was very satisfied both times. Their menu features a good variety of Thai specials, but since I'm always drawn to noodle soups, I tried both their tum yum noodle soup and their sukhothai noodle soup. The tum yum was tart and had lots of good flavors and toppings. It was definitely delicious and was a good portion for dinner. The sukhothai was spicy and featured a ton of toppings as well. It had two meatballs, softboiled egg, roast pork slices, and lots of minced pork. My favorite was definitely the roast pork, which was super flavorful and delicious. I really enjoyed the flavors of this dish and ate every last bite. I also tried the chive pancakes, which were perfectly fried. They were super crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. This has become my favorite Thai appetizer at every Thai restaurant. Overall, I had great experiences at Sup Thai and would recommend it for all to try. read more

Every time I take my family to this place we have the best time. They are just a truly and genuinely special team that makes sure every patron is treated with the utmost kindness, generosity, and gratitude. Not to mention the outdoor seating and amazing food. I am constantly looking for Thai restaurants with a weekend lunch special and was super pumped to find this place. The lunch menu is a skosh limited (if you don't want soup it is mostly rice options with 3 noodle options). And unlike some other places, the special here is only entree + starter (no salad), which is fine. Ultimately, loved what I got. The noodle option I got was drunken noodles with chicken. I think drunken noodles is a dish that is easy to make fine but difficult to do very well, and this place did this very well. The portion was great and the flavoring was spicier than I was expecting but overall lovely. The starter I got here was the chive pancakes, which I think is a great barometer of a Thai restaurant in general and this was one of the top chive pancake dishes I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a nice soft inner portion. The rice dish I tried I was less thrilled by, to be honest. Spicy Thai basil is usually my favorite dish from Thai places, but I found this one to be a bit boring. The spice was there, certainly. And getting crispy pork belly was an interesting option. But overall it was a bit dry and almost too much meat at the expense of any other ingredients. Nothing really for the white rice to do. Got crispy tofu as the starter for this one which was delightful. Staff was super friendly. Parking was easy. Price comparable to most other similar places. I would definitely come back to try more of their other rice dishes and buy 7 more portions of chive pancakes. read more

They are actually located a few blocks from the other Thai restaurant (we shall not mention their name) I have frequent, but I'm all for new restaurants & new experiences. Being familiar with Thai cuisine & seeing the menu, I knew before I came here what I wanted to try. I love soup, so I tried their Tom Yom seafood hot pot & it was delicious! It was super flavorful, the seafood was well cooked & I loved it! I also tried their chicken satay, also good & the peanut sauce just adds another layer of flavor along with their cucumber relish. I had the calamari which was perfect! Sometimes calamari is a hit or miss because some people over cook it so it's rubbery & dark in color, but these had the perfect color with a crunch on the outside & deliciousness on the inside. For my drink I had the Sup Thong Kum (gold) which consisted of vodka, mango purée, moscato & fresh lime juice. I wasn't really a fan, although I'm very familiar with all the flavors, but I would just try something else next time. I was really pleased with everything & the service. The only thing I regret is not taking my left overs! :'( I asked for it to be packed, but after paying I forgot & just left, but that was my fault of course lol. I love this place and I go all the time. I just went on Saturday night, I ate half of my food there then got the other half packaged to take home. When I just opened the box to take out my food there was a triple looped hair in the container with my food this really is making me question if I want to eat there again. I finally came here to dine after work, and I ordered the Sup Sampler. The presentation of the dish was very pretty. Personally, the Sup Sampler is a perfect tasting meal for one because you get a tasting of everything. Everything tasted really good. I'd definitely order it again. In addition, I ordered the Sup Colada, which every diner should try. It's very refreshing. There are a lot of takeout and online orders. Plus, they sell snacks, and the prices are in baht, and they make you do the math to convert to the US dollar, which I didn't mind. All the servers were very attentive and friendly and understood we were doing family style dishes and gave us on our own individual plates to accommodate the sharing. Today, when my family and I walked into Sup Thai, we were greeted very poorly by Amy. She did not welcome us, but instead silently held up her fingers as if asking how many guests. When I said hello, her response was simply, "Yes?"--as though my greeting was an inconvenience. I repeated my hello, but she still refused to acknowledge it. Another employee, Fern (I believe that's her name), witnessed the exchange and appeared visibly uncomfortable with Amy's behavior. When I asked Amy if she was okay, she replied, "I have a lot going on." For context, the restaurant was practically empty at the time. While I empathize with her, I don't feel that excuses the lack of basic courtesy and customer service. My family and I have dined at Sup Thai many times before and have never experienced anything like this. It seems Amy must have been having a particularly difficult day. On a positive note, the food was excellent as always. One of the other employees apologized on Amy's behalf. read more

Just had take out from Sup Thai Kitchen last night while visiting my folks in Fresh Meadows. We got the usual Pad Thai and Pad See Eew and both were absolutely amazing. We didn't start eating till about 15 minutes after we got home and both were still sizzling hot... thank you Sup Thai! As I walked in to pick up my order, I got a chance to experience the interior and WOW, it is absolutely a vibe inside. It's cozy yet beautiful decorated. And the staff.. they are all so darn welcoming. I predict I will be dining inside within the next week or two and I can't hardly wait! read more
