This is from the floor. Just in front of the sink.

One word... filthy! Our feet were covered in filth. Just because it's low budget doesn't mean it can't be clean.

Yes, it needs TLC, but it is clean, the staff friendly, and the price is right.

First, let me day this hotel is dated, the television requires two remotes, and in desperate need of a major renovation. So why four stars? Because the price point is good, the staff is friendly, and the room is clean. The management here works to make what they have work. They put out a decent breakfast spread, are very accommodating, and work hard to make it a positive experience.

Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom very disturbing

Do not waste your time. Do not stay in room 217. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at even for a super 8. I had prepaid for 2 nights that was a mistake. The shower has mold on the ceiling, the microwave and fridge were not cleaned, the walls had cobwebs and were filthy with something sticky and nasty. I was too tired to leave when I arrived after being in a car 15 hrs and visiting the beach. I woke early checked out the next morning at 9:30am. It was supposed to be non smoking and smelled of smoke which caused my asthma to be worse. This place was the nastiest hotel I have ever been too. Please save your money. Even the floors looked like they had not been mopped for 88. Dollars a night this is very unsafe and disturbingly nasty. Also it the site falsely advertises that you'll receive a breakfast item but they don't offer that. I could have spent an extra 30 and went to a better hotel... Very disappointed.

    Pubic hairs on toilet

Filthy room!!! I'm giving this hole two stars based only on three things: The water was hot, the bed was firm, and the AC was cold. The rest of it was nasty, dirty and broken. The floor was filthy. I've attached a photo of the towel I used to wash my feet AFTER my shower, with 20 minutes of walking barefoot on the floor. There was a tiny piece of bar soap left in the shower, someone's else's pubic hairs on the toilet rim, mold on the ceiling, cobwebs on the walls and the smoke detector was gone. There was an ice bucket but no cups. A tissue holder but no tissues. Cigarette burns in the quilt. It was more like a hooker hotel than any place travelers would stop at. And the price for this hole.. was robbery. I remember when Wyndham hotels were nice places. They should be ASHAMED to allow their good name on a dump like this.

We stayed in this hotel over Memorial Day weekend and had a terrible experience. They advertise on their website and in the rooms that there is free breakfast when there isn't, it's just coffee and juice. Super 8 claims everyone in the office will be wearing a mask, nobody in the office had a mask on. Our room smelled like someone had smoked in it. The lampshade had stains on it. The knob for the hot water in the shower was coming out of the wall. The shower curtain didn't close all the way. The 2nd day we were there the man cleaning looked into our room through the window and once we noticed he then knocked on the door asking if we needed towels. Some of the plugs in the room didn't work. The customer service was less than pleasant. The bed had bed bugs and I was bit all over. When I submitted the complaint about the bed, the General Manager said I lied and that I either fabricated the pictures of the bites I got or I found them online somewhere. This also isn't the first complaint they've received about bed bugs. I have plenty more pictures of the bites as well. Not sure how I fabricated these but take what you will with this Information. Honestly, take your money and go somewhere else. It's not worth it.

How much tp we were given.

This location does not offer military discount. We stayed here based off of the reviews and it being the highest rated (granted not by much and not that high) reasonable hotel near by. We thought we would be able to make our trip in one shot but started to get extremely tired. If it wasn't for our desperation of sleep, we would have ran away- not walked. We were on the second floor. The room smelled AWFUL, like mildew and mold. We got the only room (at least on this side of the building) with a bucket on the outside of the AC unit. So I'm guessing it's leaking? The bucket didn't stop much though, so be prepared to walk through gross water. We found at least 5 dead bugs on the floor. We woke up to about 30 maggots crawling on the floor from the outside gross AC water. There was only a roll of toilet paper with less than a 1/4 left and the only toiletries was a thing of hand soap, there were gross towels and no tissues. The road and other guests were pretty loud, which I know the hotel can't control but just as a heads up. The breakfast items were waffles, three kinds of cereal, chocolate chip muffins, one kind of milk, apple juice, and orange juice. At checkout I shared our experience, and the first response was "oh those worm things? Those aren't maggots." And that I should have said something at check in. I know we should have, but when we got our room at 3am we were so tired and thought the only thing we were dealing with was a bad smell and no toiletries. We would take a shower in the morning and leave. It wasn't until 9am when we woke up that we realized just how gross the place was and that we got visitors overnight (the maggots/bug/things) that weren't there at checkin. We will NEVER stay here again, we'd rather just sleep in our car at the Walmart parking lot up the street.

Staff was amazing and very helpful! The room was very clean and organized just as almost every super 8 I've stayed at was like. There was a microwave and mini fridge which is so convenient when traveling. The bed was so comfy which is the main thing I look for in a hotel. There is a free breakfast which is helpful for traveling as well, we got to make some waffles before heading out this morning. Great location!

Becca at the front desk was very helpful in resolving a reservation date issue (which was due to my own fault).

When we were just pulling in, our daughter decided to try her hand at blowing a bubble with gum. It didn't end up very well and we needed peanut butter, fast! The night shift gal (Natalie, maybe?) went and got me two small PB containers as well as a microfiber cloth to help with the clean up. Upon checkin you get your choice of beverages as well: beer/wine or soda/water. They also had fresh-made peanut butter cookies. Apparently it was our day for PB. Haha The lobby is up to date and tidy, as well as the common areas. The pool was cloudy but it's rained a good bit recently. So that didn't deter the kids from taking a late night dip. Linens are clean and there was no trace of the past lodgers (i.e. random hairs in the shower or on the towels). They even leave ear plugs in the beds for you (just in case) and there was a coloring sheet with crayons for the kiddos. Breakfast was a selection of yogurts, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), sausage, ham, bacon, waffle maker (regular or strawberry), cereal, and pastries. Coffee was fresh and there was also a few choices for hot tea. When checking out this morning, the day shift manager (Candace?) even asked if we'd been able to get the PB. If we travel through here again, we will be staying here.

This is my first business tag along with him this year. The Quality Inn in Crestview is our second hotel this trip. We stayed in Room 131. It is closest to an outside door. We have a dog so that makes it easier to let him out. My first complaint is No hot water in the shower. I hate hate taking cold or cool showers. Making a cup of tea at 1:30 am this morning and saw a German cock roach scurry across the floor. Killed it with a shoe. Creeps me out. Door handle is loose. Our room key never unlocks the outside side door. We always have to walk around to the front doors. Even after having the front office clerk reprogram it. No remote for the TV when we arrived. They brought us different ones after check in and none of them worked. They finally brought us one that works the next day. The trim between the ceramic tile and vinyl floor comes up making a tripping hazard. We will not come back here.

Even more disgusting than the roach is when I flushed the toilet, I realized it was backed up. When I told the maintenance woman,I was shocked when she handed me a plunger instead! I then had the chore of unplunging the previous guest's fecal matter from the toilet. This was absolutely disgusting and that employee should be fired. In addition to that, we put out our dirty towels out for housekeeping wheen we saw them outside, and we took the Do Not Disturb sign off our doorknob so they could give us new towels. They never did. Even if they offered a free stay, we would never stay here again. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the lady at the front desk was nice and she let us borrow a USB plug that we forgot to pack.

Cheap, but not worth staying here…read more The check-in process was horrible. The lady at the desk kept going back and forth between the office and some back room. It took about a half hour just to check in and this made me late for dinner plans. She finally just gave me a room key and mumbled the room number. I could barely understand anything she was saying. The room itself was clean, but had a strong, musty odor. The air conditioner was set to 60 degrees, but did not cool down the room at all. The room was oddly set up with a random closet that contained a mattress and random odds and ends. The shower was very dark and had the feel of a prison cell. The bed was OK and since there was at least a working fridge and microwave, I'll give them two stars instead of one.

This is the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. I wish I could cut some slack on this review but…read moreeverything from check in to the room is extremely unfortunate. My friend, girlfriend, and myself have been traveling from Los Angeles to Miami and were unfortunate enough to end up here. Upon arriving at 10:30pm, I made my way to a locked lobby. After knocking on the door, the front desk receptionist (who, I'm assuming is also the owner) walked to the key drop off and began to speak with me through the door. I asked her to open the door and let me into the lobby so I can expedite this process. She seemed not to care and asked for my ID through the door. She then came back with paperwork. I informed her that she needed to let me in. I have been driving for 10 hours and I instantly felt as if I was being seen as a criminal (I don't blame her. It seems that everyone who is checked in here is). After an annoying check in process, I finally got my room key. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I would recommend that NO ONE stay at this motel. Spend the extra $10 and stay at the Super 8 or Motel 6 or sleep in your car. It seems like these owners feel into the "hospitality" industry and have no idea what they're doing. Also, don't step outside. Really. All the locals here look like meth addicts. I wonder if the Hilton family knows that these owners are pawning off of their name.
