This stay was absolutely horrible. Very nice staff, but very short staffed to do anything. No room maids for 4 day stay, no towels had to ask and only got them once. Toilet broken, mold in tub, no hot water, all shades were broken, mold and dirt on plastic curtains, ice machine broken, rear door lock broken do anyone could enter, bed concaved in middle. Just a very bad experience for a Wyndham place. Have like 6-7 reviews that they sent and no response except thanks for staying with us. read more

Econo Lodge is a better place to stay. I even have a pool. the staff is knowledgeable and kind and they don't have a manager owner who has the temperament and attitude of a baby toddler! I won't be where they will charge your card without you knowing and then claim you owe them. read more

Similar to a previous guest, we were initially pleased. The staff are truly very friendly and helpful. I had stressed, even in the booking online, that I needed a non-smoking room due to sensitivities. The hotel is advertised as "non-smoking", but it certainly has been a smoking property in the past and the rooms reflect that. It has now been one full week since I stayed and I have had sinus problems since. I wish I had walked away from $100 and drove the extra 20 miles to stay in Big Stone Gap where I could have stayed in a truly non-smoking hotel/room. read more

BAD..BAD...BAD. not on repeat but a rating for each room we tried in 1 night. All 3 rooms either smelt like mold, animal piss or both. Last room looked to have a bloody handprint on bed spread( I swear I'm not making this up) and what looked to be dry cum on the damn desk in the room.(on god yall). The hotel had a gas leak in the water heater the first night and then there was no hot water for a week. No housekeeping unless I asked for it. And then killed a few bugs. When asked for a refund I was denied. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is the aircondtioner worked well. Always ask to see the room before staying and ask about hot water. read more

This trip was horrible. The first room the AC didn't work. The second room was across the hall from an employee who was staying there and smoking weed inside the room. The third room was okay. Just looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The wifi didn't work the entire trip here. Also people just hang out in the parking lot and party all night. Do not stay here! read more

Nice! Slow check-in but a lovely clerk who was extremely considerate of guest needs! Complementary snacks for our night (which had a snowstorm predicted to hit) had some microwaveable soups... Extremely nice touch! SUPER DUPER hot water, felt like a good room for the price. Room was clean, towels and linens were decent enough... Minus one star just because the room smelled "off" and some other guests were clearly smoking in the non-smoking rooms. read more

The check in experience was peculiar. The clerk struggled to register me into a room with a king bed because the "computer" kept placing me into a room with double beds. The rate was about 15 dollars too high. My non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. The hotel side door locked for my protection was not locked that night or the next morning, so anyone could open the door and access the motel. The refrigerator temperature knob was missing so I couldn't adjust the thermostat. I checked in late at night and had a medical issue the next morning. I nearly called 911. The clerk came to the door and reminded me that it was 11:00 and checkout time was 11:00. I asked her for 10 more minutes and she said she would "give" me 15 minutes. Wow. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, and the tv was good. So, three stars. read more

Its a Super 8 but everything in the room was clean, the shower was great, and the room had great cable, a microwave, and a large mini fridge plus a king bed. All of this for $60 a night is a deal that's tough to beat read more

We are extremely dissatisfied with our stay. Christina is completely incompetent, as is her African American coworker whose name I do not know. We are Platinum card members. Our queen room was changed to a double. We found clothes hangers and make-up in our room. I was treated with righteous condemnation when I presented these objects. We had an ant invasion that was treated as a joke on a prior stay. I do believe in second chances, however this is ridiculous. In my educated opinion, Christina does not deserve a job here or anywhere. She acts impervious to anything occurring in your hotel. Hillary is fantastic & courteous, your of skilled worker. I love your rates, but I'm done with the garbage attitudes of your employees. If you're not aware, customer service is how you treat people, especially when they stay almost every weekend. Enough is enough. read more

BED BUGS....POORLY HANDLED BY MANAGEMENT. I volunteered my time, resources, energy, gas for a Remote Area Medical Mission and the first 24 hours we discovered bed bugs in not 1 room but 2 rooms. The manager did not offer to call me or come to the facility for my children and mins health an safety. The only front desk attendant assumed the role and responsibility of his job description and was the hero in this situation. VERY disappointing, exhausting and frustration. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

Stayed at Super 8, in Norton, VA on 5/21/17. Staff were very helpful, and, we were initially pleased that, we were able to stay with our small dog. We asked for a non smoking room. The room had a strange odor, and, we were not really sure about what the odor was... The carpet was worn, and the area behind the night stands was dirty. A sticky piece of candy was also stuck to the carpet, and the place was noisy. A really big concern of ours, was that the locks on the outside security doors were broken.. I feel that this is a real safety issue. I asked about this problem, and was informed that the locks have been broken for a long period of time...The grounds around the building also needed some attention. There was a breakfast available with a few items. We will not stay at this particular Super 8 again. read more

My daughter and I stayed here this past weekend because they are a pet friendly hotel. That is the only good thing about this hotel. First off it stinks..not by cigarette smoke just has a smell. We got our room and a/c did not work. I called and asked front desk and she said it might take awhile to come on. We left for about 2 hours to get something to eat.. came back and still hot. Went to front desk and told lady it wasn't working. She asked to come look at it and then said she would look for another room. She came back in just a few min and gave us the room across hall (The only reason I gave a one star..was because of front desk lady.) The room across hall ac worked, but still smelled awful. It was too late to switch hotels/plus already paid upfront. Another BIG BIG problem is..we were 2 adult females staying at a hotel. The front desk lady gave us rooms on 1st floor right by side door so it was easy to get in/out. Which at first was great...UNTIL I noticed the lock on hotel outside door was completely broken..meaning anyone could come:go into hotel. Not safe at all and when I mentioned it to front desk lady she said oh yes we know...what the heck!!!! And yes I know this isn't a 4 star hotel.. but next day it was pouring down rain big time so I called front desk to see if we could have a later check out time to try and wait rain out as we had to drive 6 hours back home and with wet clothes/wet pets would not have been great. The front desk lady in the morning was not as nice as the front desk lady the previous night. She said, (with a big sigh) ah, no we do not do that" very rudely. I don't see how it would have hurt them they were not booked up at all.. so we left/getting all wet with wet pets in tow. The hotel is supposed to provide safety..to me that is unacceptable so I would NOT not recommend this hotel/motel to anyone because of things above listed especially because of safety!!! read more
