We arrived in Willits on the very day California's governor lifted restrictions and "opened up." The hotel is is clean, the rooms spacious, and we were very comfortable here. But the outstanding service we received was the help we got from scammers at hotel.values that charged us a "hotel tax" equal to half the cost of the hotel room. Bina at the front desk, when she learned about our being scammed, went into action and was able to help us get a refund from the scammer. Bina deserves six stars for her heroic deed! read more

On my way to Fort Bragg I decided to stay at this motel that was right on the main drag. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised it was very nice cute and clean. There is nothing to do in the town of Willits so plan on staying in your room. When we got there the a/c wasn't working but management promptly switched our rooms, which was very easy and painless. They have a pool, hot tub and complimentary breakfast. The highlight of the breakfast is you can make your own belgian waffles! Great hotel to stay for the night. read more

After fleeing from hotel astoria in San Francisco due to how horrible they were we ended up here. We are only stopping here to crash for the night before heading to the redwoods in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised here! The staff was so nice and the room was not just clean but it was very roomy and comfy. I got the best nights sleep! Hot shower, friendly service, washer and dryer that worked great, good Internet, clean room and a cute little park like setting in the middle of the square. Our family stayed in this hotel last night as we were passing through town and headed home from the holiday weekend. What a pleasant surprise. The gentleman that checked us in was polite, professional and well dressed. Our room was very clean, quiet and more up-to-date than we expected. They have a lovely courtyard with a fountain in the center of the property that has a nice wooden swing to sit on. The free breakfast is basic and the room it's held in is small. It would have been nice to have a few more tables in the courtyard to sit at for breakfast because there were more people than seats. We have definitely stayed in more expensive places that weren't nearly as nice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others. read more

On short notice my favorite motel in Willits was booked so I had to find another place. At first I was very pleased with this one because the front desk person was friendly room was clean with updated decor. The courtyard is pretty. But it went down from there. The TV channels are sparse, with many of them showing an unavailable message. The wifi is not very good and not password protected which I don't trust. Our stay was very loud, not just the people above us which can happen anywhere, but the beautiful swing in the courtyard right outside our room is extremely squeaky and people were sitting in it and squeaking after 10 pm and it was rather annoying. The a/c unit in the room was also very loud. Then at 4:50 am there were people filling up a cooler on a wagon from the ice maker also not far from my room, making a bunch of noise, then they sit in the squeaky chair, so I never did get back to sleep. So on the surface it looked good but functionally not as good, at least for me that night. read more

If cost is the only concern, this hotel works, barely. The building and grounds look very pretty but what is on the inside is the problem. We found food left in the refrigerator. The wifi is slow and cuts out. The tissue box was empty and the roll of toilet paper had about 20 pieces left on the roll. The door to the room stuck on the carpet so would not open all the way. The beds were very firm and creaked with each movement. Breakfast was a tiny selection of cereal and toast. Next time we will spend a few extra dollars for better facilities. read more

This place is a better-than-average chain motel, with quite a few amenities for the price. It's less than 10-years old, and is a two-story structure built in a U-shape with a well-landscaped central courtyard. There's a fairly large fountain with benches and a porch swing in the courtyard, and a nice medium-sized swimming pool and an adjacent spa pool behind the building. The room I had (single king bed) was decent-sized, and the decor was pleasing, although more at the IKEA end of the scale than the Ethan Allen. It had an under-counter refrigerator, a microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, 27" TV, alarm clock and a curtained closet space. There was a 3x3' table with two chairs, which were fine for use at the table, but not to be confused with armchairs. The tabletop was too high to be comfortable for extended computer use. The mattress was firm and comfortable, and the through-wall heater/air conditioner was reasonably quiet and worked well for temperature control. The room and bathroom were spotless and the paint, carpet and bedclothes were all in great shape. I stayed for two nights, and the room was cleaned, the bed was made and fresh towels put out, but all of my personal belongings were exactly as I left them. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful, asking me if I needed restaurant recommendations and lending me a corkscrew. The continental breakfast was pretty standard, with two choices of cereal, some pastries, one kind of juice (apple) and coffee. My only complaint was that the high-speed internet service seemed to be a little sketchy, giving me "limited service" messages and low download speeds more often than you'd expect. I ended up using my Verizon air card most of the time. All in all, a good deal for the money, but you might want to check out the Baechtel Creek Inn if you prefer a higher standard. read more

The rooms are clean at first glance but look a bit closer and the corners are grungy, the hair dryer is dirty, baseboards and backsplash are grimy. Main light does not work. Bedside lamps do. Bed was comfortable. Shampoo, soap, fridge and microwave provided. Breakfast is provided - waffles, bananas, toast, coffee, cereal. The property does have a little courtyard with a fountain and wooden porch swing. Lovely and unexpected in a Super 8. read more

Not the top of the pile, not recommended for spoiled people. Several things were not working, room was large enough but has the bathroom sink in the room. Hair dryer, microwave and coffee pot on that counter, frig is underneath, leaving little room for hair spray. $62 a night, Wednesday in February. Room was very clean. Pool and spa. Just two things that bugged me, Wifi did not work at all, and the air conditioner was VERY loud when it turned on! Sounded like it was going to fly away! When at the Hotels.com website, I specifically searched for dog friendly hotels. According to the Hotels.com website, the Super8 in Willits, CA was listed among dog friendly hotels so I booked a room and paid in full right then. Upon arrival at the Super8, I learned that the hotel is NOT dog friendly and I had to find other accommodations, costing me much more money than anticipated and budgeted. The following Monday, I called Hotels.com to get a refund. Super8 refused the refund and I had to settle for a hotel voucher for less than the price of the original booking. What should have cost me about $100 for a one night stay at the Super8 in Willits has now cost more than $250. I will never use Hotels.com again nor will I ever stay at another Super8. I am also posting this on Yelp and any other appropriate social media site I can find. read more

This Super 8 hotel has a wonderful husband/wife team that has created an appealing, comfortable, serene, and clean hotel with an eye for detail, decor, and hospitality. For my family of four, the room was roomy, comfortable with the amenities needed for the stay. Breakfast bar had an essential breakfast to get the family ready for the day, though quite carb heavily, had cereal, waffl maker, fresh fruit, juices, coffeee, toast and bagels. Well I had a pretty horrible experience at Super 8 in Willits ca, my family and i made our hotel reservations in the afternoon @ 2:00pm.we were five hours away and got stuck in roadwork and some other stuff came up along the way, we had gotten to the super 8 hotel @ 9:00pm. and they had given away our room most hotels wait until midnight before they give away a room it was a holiday and we had nowhere to go we had to drive to the next town over and pay $55 dollars more! for our hotel room and the super 8 clerk at the counter wasn't even sorry he just said you should have called! How was that possible when we were stuck in traffic with no cell service, he was very rude and un kind. It is sad to say, but my family and i will no longer be staying at the super 8 in Willits ca, anymore!... read more

My brother and I stayed at the Super 8 Willits after we finished hiking Lost Coast. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel doesn't have many frills (do not expect the Four Seasons) but it was in a great location - we also found Willits to be nicer/cuter than Ukiah which is next door. The room was very clean and we appreciated the microwave. Most of all, the owners/management went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. We arrived late for breakfast and they brought out more waffle batter for us and checked in to make sure we had everything. We would definitely go back! read more

I reserved 6 rooms at this hotel for a motorcycle trip over the 4th of July weekend. From the beginning the owner worked with me on cancellations and additions to our group reservation. arrived late. we were met quite badly. felt not comfortable. in the room did not work part of the lamps. there were few towels. breakfast is included - it's nice. fairly average quality. to spend the night is normal, but you definitely will not get the pleasure. the main thing is pretty clean and there are no cockroaches. I tried using the Jacuzzi, but it was ice cold even after running it for 30 minutes. The lame excuse the next morning was that it was set for daylight hours only.
