The last two times my youngest daughter has had her hair cut, the stylist - Manzar, cut her hair way TOO short. I mistakenly gave this stylist another chance and again asked for a CHIN LENGTH bob. I actually pointed to the bottom of my chin and my daughter's chin, yet somehow my little one ended up with a mid-CHEEK length cut. Needless to say, we'll either be trying a different stylist next time or a new salon. When I told Manzar the cut was too short she didn't apologize or anything, she said "hmm, it still looks cute." Well, it's about four inches shorter than what we asked for, but we appreciate you applauding your work lol. Also, one of the reasons I came to this particular salon was I heard there was a loyalty rewards program but it's something one must sign up for beforehand to receive - I didn't see this when I scheduled the appointments online so was unable to acquire any points or credit for the visit or visits prior, which I guess doesn't necessarily matter now because I'm not sure we'll ever be back.

First time we went my son was shy of 12 months and then we went again around 16 months. He cried both times but they were patient and took their time. I plan to go again and see how it goes.

And it looks like the center will be getting another kids indoor play place soon. We also found a quiet shady area to sit by a fountain. I was a little disappointed when I showed up for my 10:30 appt at 10:20 and was told I would have to wait a couple minutes. By 10:40 I told them I had another appointment so they switched the hair dresser on me. That was fine since it was our first time but if I had not said anything I fear for how long we would have waited. I'm so glad she did because we had an amazing experience from start to finish. We came with all 3 of our kids (7, 4, 23 months) on a Saturday morning without an appointment. Despite being busy, we were able to get in quite quickly which is great considering we had a busy morning. Each of our boys had a different stylist and each one of them had a great time. They were super engaging for the kids and let them drive the conversation which I really appreciated. They were laughing and smiling the whole time. We've previously took our older kids to Supercuts and while they get fine cuts there, the service they got here was infinitely better. Our youngest did great. While some of that is his demeanor, a lot of it has to do with the stylist who worked slowly and carefully as to not scare him and keep him distracted so that she could cut without issue. The fire truck seat with a bell he could pull didn't hurt either. He truly had a blast. And afterwards, we got a complementary picture of his first cut and a small lock of hair. Before we knew it, the kids were all done, given a balloon of their choice, and a treat of their choice (some went with cookies, other doughnut holes). We got 3 kids haircuts in under an hour. In all, the whole experience was great. From the playful interior to all of the play areas (they have both free arcade games and a big playhouse and TVs for all ages of kids...and adults) to all the Wizard of Oz nick knacks that line the interior, it's just a fun, relaxing place that is warm and inviting for kids. We absolutely will be coming back for all our kids' haircuts from here on out.

They had a drink cart for the girlies to grab a cup & sip on lemonade. The seats were a variety of bow backing, chiavari chairs, or velvet pink seats. They provide seat belts on their high chairs and tablets for the kids to watch videos and get distracted.
