This cant be beat. They are open on holidays, and Tip is included in the meal. So many items its hard to decide on where to start and where it ends. Sushi is good. They have Lobster tail and Crabs. The food rotates because people are always throwing it on their plate. Everything I have tried is fresh and delicious. The only thing missing would be beer. read more

This is the most ghetto restaraunt I've eaten at, Ever, Period. We went there for fathers day and they had a "lobster" dinner special which jacked the price up from the already high "holiday" price to $16.95. First of all, there was no lobster. Which I didn't really care because I'm not a fan of lobster anyway. What there was plenty of though, was lurkers standing around the empty pan where the lobster was supposed to be. About every 20 minutes, an employee would come out with a small pan of lobster and the lurkers would jump on it piling their plates high so only maybe the first 5 or so fatties would get any. When we sat down, we were given a fork. Later, I had to go search for the rest of my silverware. The tiny napkins matched the tiny plates at the buffet lines. So I didn't really care about the ghetto Kent location or the crowds of ghetto apartment dwellers lurking at this place, what really stunk was the food. There was about 8 kinds of chicken, each in their own overly seasoned dish. Each chicken dish seemed like someone had emptied the skin and fat scrapings out of a KFC fryer into a bowl of cheap oriental sauce. I really did try to find something worth eating but everything was so lame. The one thing that was decent was some kind of bright red chicken on a stick. Everything else tasted like frozen banquet dinners heated up in a microwave. There was also plenty of squid dishes, clam type shellfish, kimchee, fruits, desserts and assorted other tasteless stuff I wouldn't even feed my dog. They couldn't even get wonton or egg drop soup right. Even the rice and noodles tasted cheap and tasteless. The sushi bar was a bit different as was the make your own pho thing. All in all though, unless your plan is to show up and gorge yourself on snow crab, this place is just a waste of money. You'd be much better off spending your cash on the family style dinners at Red Lotus in Auburn, just a few miles away. Then at least you'd have some take home leftovers for later. If you're looking for a ghetto chinese joint in a crappy strip mall to waste your money on, this is the place for you. This would be the ideal place to bring your girlfriend if you were going to dump her though. Or if you have inlaws from out of town you don't like, bring them here. Oh. It's crowded and noisy too. Lot's of food on the floor that falls off the tiny plates as fat people try to squeeze between the tables coming back from the buffet lines. Lot's of the food is sticky. With sweet thick breading and sauce to mask the flavor. The best part of the whole dinner was the water and leaving. Definately skip this one. I have always liked coming to this place but a few months back we wanted to eat the snow crab but was told they couldn't cook them. Well we came back here again and snow crabs were hot, my husband eyes glossed over. When went to pay, he asked a a question why they were serving cold snow crabs a few weeks back, they said the health department wouldn't let them serve hot snow crabs during the week it had to be only on the weekend, if they are going to do that then they need to tell all the seafood serving restaurant to only serve hot snow crabs on the weekend, oh by the way this is the Kent health department. read more

The decor is very elegant and beautiful, from chandeliers, water fountain, paintings, and corked artworks. The food, on the other hand seems pretty simple, typical, and most times, bland. There's a good selection of dim sum and Chinese food, and the Japanese foods are limited. The prices for lunch and dinner are cheap. ($8-$15). read more

Place is big but tables are crammed in so can be tight. The food selection is pretty decent with a mongolian style grill bar and a sushi bar on top of the standard chinese and dessert bar. The food selections and taste wise was pretty much like most chinese buffetts but a little more selection. They all pretty much have the same stuff and taste. Went on a weekend so the price was $14.99 11 years on up. Under 10 is like $8.00 and drinks extra. The mongolian grill I won't comment on because it is only good as the ingredients you pick and create. The sushi bar was basically fake crab california roll style rolls with slight twists to create more selections. The nigri sushi were topped with paper thin slices of fish. Most of the sushi had a lot of rice and were too sweet. Not good sushi, but your standard ehh chinese buffet sushi. The potstickers and shumai were just nasty. Tasted nothing like dim sum nor meat for that matter. They had lobster and crab on the weekends and it was chopped up into pieces and stir fried. Tasted alright if you can get some and it's not something they rush to refill or maybe I was just unlucky and the rude people are loading up. The crab legs I got to admit were nice and big and meaty. Not like some other places where the legs are like a pencil and not worth your time to get a tiny sliver of meat if any. I've only been here once and I had an okay experience. The place looks pretty nice since it's new, but the service wasn't so great. We had to wave people down just to get refills on our water when our table was RIGHT NEXT TO THE SERVERS who were standing around talking to each other. The food's decent for a buffet. Some of the items were pretty good, and the rest was just so so or not that great. I was planning on taking my parents and little brother on a lobster day because they love seafood, but my friend just went this weekend and told me that her boyfriend's soft serve ice cream had a USED BANDAID in it, which totally grossed me out because I ate the ice cream the last time I went, but luckily didn't end up with a used bandaid in my mouth, but it freaking could've been floating around in there when I had it.... The worst part was she told me that when he complained about it, the manager was rude to him and implied that he was lying to get a free meal, and they ended up only discounting fifty percent of the meal instead of apologizing and not charging him for it. He actually wrote to the corporate office, so hopefully they actually do something about it. But I will never come back because it makes me sick to think what else could be in the rest of the food. Obviously they are not sanitary/don't care and can't even own up to their mistakes and make paying customers feel like criminals. The service is awesome. I've been there about eight times in the past six months and have not been disappointed! Everything I have tried is excellent. If you go on Sundays when they open at 10:30 you get yummy crab legs with everything else for $13.99/pp! It's so worth it!! They even have a pho and mongolian grill station. Parking is great also. Used to be good when they first opened up. Quality keeps going down as prices goes up. Family went for dinner for seafood and lobster leg. All seafood were old and stale. They hid the lobster leg in the noodle area away from all the other seafood so unless you know it's there you would miss it. The lobster legs were terrible as well. Smells a bit rotten. The food was horrible. A lot out for long periods of time. The general so chicken had a nasty tasting sauce. No wonton soup, the hibachi grill doesn't work they take your food in back and you can't see it being cooked. They use like spaghetti noodles Instead of regular chinese noodles you would normally have in lomein . Only thing that tasting normal was the Pepsi soda. Ok so there are tons of choices.. all kids of Asian choices Chinese and Japanese foods, also pizza and garlic bread for the kids. They also have a Pho and mongolian hot grill option. Came here to celebrate my Nephew's first bday. The foods were ok. Typical Chinese buffet. I was hoping for some lobster tail, but they served me a claw both times I went up. There was hardly any meat in there and too much work for a tiny piece. I'm surprised the service was GREAT even when they are super busy with many parties going on. They checked up on us frequently, gave refills, and cleared our dirty plates when needed to be. I'll only come back if someone is hosting a party here, not to eat if I want Chinese. read more

We love this place! I think we go there like at least once a week for dinner. We have a little one so we need some place where we can get in and get out, quick. The food I would say is great, everything is flavorful and tasty. They have a lot of selection. I really love their crayfish, crab legs, bbq pork ribs and their sushi is actually pretty good for a buffet sushi. The service is great! We rarely have to wait to get seated, maybe only during the holidays. Even at busy times, they always keep the tables and floors clean.They are quick to pick up plates and fill up waters, unless you get one of the newer servers. They needs to learn from the experience ones as they are not as proactive as they are slow to pick up the plates and does not refill our water or provide us with the crab cracker until we have to ask. Not much to complain about, I mean it's not the best quality food but what do you expect for a buffet that is around $15? Nowadays we pay that much just for fast food. read more

The first review was very funny because the author said she liked the pizza.. that is so crazy, she probably liked the little cakes too. Anybody who frequents chinese buffets knows better than eating the pizza or cakes. We frequent the chinese buffet down by albertsons in auburn. the chinese buffet at five corners in burien and it's sister location by walmart in renton. The foody goody chinese buffet in renton also. This buffet is just as great as those locations. If you don't like those locations, you probably aren't a chinese buffet person and shouldn't visit this restaurant. (we arent crazy about the asian garden down by safeway in kent,,, so we are happy a new restaurant opened up in kent) we've been waiting a couple years now for somebody to open up a buffet over there, the sign was up for a very long time. we were in there for their grand opening 2 weeks ago.
