The only negatives I have to say about this place is a wish they had a foot pull for the doors, to go inside and I really really wish there was a Super Chix in South Florida. From the service, to the cleanliness, to the level of deliciousness, this place nailed it! The fried chicken is the perfect amount of juiciness, thickness and breading, then slap on your flavor of choice and make it into a sandwhich, game over! I enjoyed the hot honey sandwhich, which I was scared of being too hot, but it wasn't, it was the perfect balance of spice and sweet. My husband enjoyed the buffalo ranch sandwich and we ordered the cheesy bbq sandwich for the kids to split and they devoured it. Now let's talk about the fries....the portion is very respectful. I attended a Yelp Event here a few days ago. I am so happy that I was able to attend as I probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise. I live in Mt. Holly so this is about a 30 minute drive for me but wow was it worth it. You can tell they have really built up this area. There seems to be many new establishments in the area and its growing. I absolutely enjoyed every moment and each bite. I'm a sucker for hand cut fries and they did not disappoint. I got just the regular salt fries. They had a good amount of flavor, crunch, and grease. The chicken sandwich, omg. It was huge and flavorful. They truly know how to cook a chicken. I ordered the deluxe with no tomatoes and no pickle, but added gouda cheese. I didn't think I could eat it all, but I did. I did not order a shake, as I'm not a fan of custard but I heard great things. This establishment is a drive from my home but I may need to make my way back here soon. My husband would love this place as he also enjoys a good sandwich and handcut fries. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted, a manager asked if we needed a high chair for our daughter and brought one over to a table outside for us while we waited in line. That was one less thing for us to worry about. Ordering is simple, there are small paper menus when you first walk in and a large displayed menu above where you order. The options for sandwiches was diverse and they all looked delicious. We ended up ordering a deluxe chicken sandwich and a simple chicken sandwich. We both got a side of fries, which was more like a mountain of fries, they we're fresh and crispy. One order of fries was plain and the other we got with rosemary pepper - delicious! The sandwiches come in a grilled or deep fried option but the fun starts at the sauce bar. You can accessorize your sandwich with a plethora of sauces from Korean bbq, to hot or Nashville hot, a signature sauce, ketchup, mustard or ranch. We also ordered the kids chicken tenders which our babes were a big fan of. The meal came with 2 tenders, a side, a drink and a dessert! I'm in love with the dipping sauce bar they have and the crispy chicken tenders and fries. The sauces work so well with the chicken tenders and the fries. You can get your tenders covered in a sauce or dip them if you prefer. I like both options. They change the custard flavor weekly and have some stored in a freezer case to take home. My daughter and I ordered to go this week. My daughter went to pick it up. When she arrived home-her sandwich, fries and milkshake were there, but they forgot my chicken tenders. I called. It took 10 minutes for them to "refund me". It was too late to go back. I had also tipped them on the to go as well. The whole order was $38. They just refunded $8 for the tenders that were missing. I assumed they would have refunded me the entire amount for the fact that one of us went hungry that night and it was hugely inconvenient. My 2 teenage boys and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, the place was packed. Looked like groups came in after church. The setup is a bit awkward, the line starts when you come in and follows the wall. It's a bit narrow until you turn and face the menu. The menu is varied with sandwiches, salads, fried and grilled chicken tenders as well as milkshakes and custard. We got the simple chicken sandwich, tenders and the Asian salad with fries. The sandwich was good: flavorful through the filet and the breading was tasty and crispy. The salad was huge and the greens were fresh. However the salad dressing was like syrup. Thank goodness I didn't pour it all over, well I couldn't pour it b/c it was so thick, like molasses thick and way too sweet. I threw it out and used an Asian vinaigrette I had at home. The tenders were delicious but the fries are the star of the show. They cut and fry them fresh. They are a lil thicker than shoestring fries and very good. We had one order with cheese. The cheese is good but once it's cold, there is no dipping. We paid roughly $40 (not including tip) for our meal. So this is about what we pay at Chick-fil-A. Yummy! Where a variety is a chicken option. I decided to try the fried chicken cordon blue sandwich. Amazing! Nice soft sweet bun with the perfect size chicken breast. Not to big or thick just right. To be honest the line scared me and I almost didn't eat here but I'm so glad I did. Popped in here on Black Friday and the line was to the door. The place was packed, every seat inside filled with families. The line moved pretty quickly with 2 registers open. We chose to try the chicken tenders, a basic chicken sandwich (add avocado & extra pickles) and a regular order of Cajun fries. Everything was very good. My chicken sandwich was delicious. It was a decent size, juicy, the bun was warm and soft and the pickles were thick and crunchy. Tenders were good. I saw someone else share a picture of small little tenders but ours were actually pretty big. Sauce bar was great for dipping options. The Cajun fries were hot, seasoned, crispy and enough to share. My only con here is that the tenders are pricey. $9.29 for 5 a la carte tenders is steep. If you get tenders and a regular fry alone it's like a $13 meal with no drink. I went with the grilled option and very delicious. I also order the cajun fries but in just 15 minutes they were already cold. I really like they have an outside patio with umbrellas. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice, friendly & helpful so that created a very positive vibe right from the start. I'll be going back for certain to try their different food options and the sauces. They have a 'do it yourself' sauce & condiment station as well as beverage station. So that is cool. It's located in a new 'strip mall' location and parking is shared with other business and it's one way in & out which might be a challenge once the other stores are running. We tried Superchix this weekend. We wanted to try both styles of their sandwich to see what we would like. What we got: *Grilled buffalo chicken sandwich *Hand breaded deluxe chicken sandwich *Loaded rosemary pepper fries (topped with cheese and bacon!) We both really liked the grilled better. The fried was okay, it's just it didn't have the comparable flavor as the grilled. The fries were great! I do wish they had the cheese sauce as an available topping for the sandwiches. I went back and looked and did not see it as an option to order online - even to order an extra side of cheese sauce was not an option. Would love it on a grilled sandwich! The flavor of the week for custard was reeses cheesecake. I really wanted to try that, but when you go to order online, the shakes list reeses - is that just generic reeses or the actual reeses cheesecake/flavor of the week? Since it is not specified, I did not order but my husband was going to pick one up instead when he picked up our order. The flavor was okay but it might have tasted better if I got it hot, as in the sandwich was cold. The amount of pickles couldn't have been more perfect unless they added more pickles. Two thumbs up on the pickle to bread/chicken ratio (I love pickles, can you tell). They have a condiment section with all the sauces so you can just pump as much as you want into a small container. Call me crazy, but I don't mind driving to Fort Mill from Matthews for a chicken sandwich. The chicken is consistently flavorful and juicy, and while I'm not a shoestring fry fanatic, their fries are made well. You also have a variety of free dipping sauces to choose from.
