This place is great! The food is amazing. They use Kronos meats imported from Greece for their gyros. The fries are good and the baklava is fantastic. To top it off, the people are friendly and have great customer service. If you're military, you even get a discount. read more

This place serves authentic, delicious gyros. The sandwiches are really good also. The seating area really could use updating as it is very dated and the ordering counter is small, dark and confusing. Does have a drive through and you can order in advance. Our 1st visit here. We went through the drive thru & ordered 4 Chicago dogs. The total bill was $10. The Chicago Dogs were great & the only place in a 28 mile radius that you can purchase one. The only 2 things missing were a poppyseed bun & celery salt. My last attempt for a Chicago dog locally was Sonic (yuck). SuperGyro uses 100% beef hot dogs, that neon green relish, sport peppers, onions, dill pickle tomatoes & onion. I'll be back for more & also to try the other menu items. read more

Super Gyro is the best! I've only tasted a few things, but everything was delicious! My favorite items are the gyro and baklava. The gyro is one of the best ones I've ever tasted! The meat is incredible, fresh, and flavorful. I wish there were more tomatoes and onions on it, but I suppose you can ask for that! The bread is always fresh and that's important to me. The baklava is incredible. Absolutely delicious! Hand made and fresh every day. You can tell its high quality because the layers are crispy and sticky lightly condensed down to the filling which is so incredible. I've been eating it several times a week since I first tasted it! Definitely the best baklava I've ever had at a restaurant or bakery. The atmosphere is laid back and prices are extremely good. Yum!!! read more

We order often from this restaurant and every order has been delivered fast and the food is always hot (or cold) and fresh. We especially love the gyro, the Greek salad and the baklava, but the burgers are quite good as well. We appreciate the smiling faces and polite staff, too. read more

I went around 715 PM day before Easter they were dead. My first time was via the drive thru cause I was tired and sickly. Read the reviews thought I could taste a great spiced gyro. Girl sounded less than enthusiastic to answer my question regarding their ice cream but I got a scoop anyway with my gyro. I think I interrupted her iPhone business. Anywho, gyro was very yummy, the real ice cream (not yogurt not custard think God) was very tasty too. Will be back when it's busier to try more. read more

It is about what you'd expect from a mall food court. Over-priced meriocre fast food. Most of the meals are $7.44 for a sandwich, fries and a drink. I had the gyro and baklava. It had 3 small slices of tomato skin and a few onions inside. It was wrapped up well to prevent leakage, but not to make it easy to eat while driving. The baklava was okay -- marginally better than what the Walmart bakery sells (which us pretty dry and not impressive). This isn't a place I'd go out of my way for and if I were standing right in front of it, I'd probably walk to Taco Bell next door for a Cantina Burrito. And if I was in the mood for a Gyro, I'd probably go to Belleville Fish and Chicken (unless I could justify a trip to Lily's). I wouldn't actively avoid it, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Heard about this place from our son, said the gyros were good and plenty. Have to disagree. Gyro was very mediocre. Tomatoes are pale and no flavor, looked like tomatoes you'd get in the winter. Tzatziki sauce is horrible ! tastes like mayo mixed with creamy italian out of a bottle, was hoping if I put it on the gyro it would help ..NOT. Greek salad was ok, tiny smidge of dressing didn't even cover all the lettuce. The best part of the whole meal was the few kalamata olives in the salad. Won't be back. If you want a decent gyro on this side of the river go to Soul in Fairview Hgts on Hwy 50 next to Penn Station or Lily's. read more

Personally, I am not a fan of gyros. My family on the other hand loves them. We decided to give this place a try and everyone ordered gyros except for me. (Got the philly cheese) I tried one of the gyros and went and got me my own. Both the philly and the gyros were amazing. I am now a believer. read more

I've been wanting a hot dog from a hot dog shop and there are none ANY WHERE around here...so I'm happy :-) I had two Chicago dogs, I asked for it to be grilled (I don't like boiled or steamed) minus relish and it was good. I've had better hot dogs in my lifetime but like i said, there's nothing to compare it to around these parts. The place is pretty clean. The gyros smell really good so I'll try that next time. I only marked it down one because of the sweet tea I got.. it was pretty watered down. read more

Great place to eat. Everything I've ever ordered here was excellent. Never a bad experience with dine-in or take out.

Placed order through the Grubhub app that estimated delivery time of 30-35 minutes and it stated Super Gyros uses their own delivery drivers. I waited 50 minutes then logged back onto the app to check order status and was directed to call Super Gyros to check status. I called and was told their driver was on the way back to the store and would be there in about 10minutes and that my order would be delivered hot and fresh within 30minutes. So, I waited another 35 minutes and still had not received my order. I called the store again and this time the driver answered and said she had just gotten back and they were making my order now and she should be delivering it in about 20 minutes. Told her I had been waiting almost 1 1/2 hrs already and she told me how sorry she was but she would for sure be delivering my order in 20minutes. I waited another 30 minutes and still no delivery. At that point I had waited 2 hours for an order with an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes and had called the store twice and was told both times by two different people that I would have my order in another 30 minutes. I never did get my order. So, I went back on the Grubhub app and canceled the order and I will never order from this Super Gyros again. read more

Have eaten here several times, all large orders. They are fast and the food tastes great. They make sure your order is good and if there is anything wrong they fix it immediately. I am very impressed with the nice portions at very reasonable prices. I have tried several menu items and all were very tasty. The Italian Beef with au jus is superb and definitely a must try! The meat was piled high and enough to make two sandwiches. They always have great coupons out which is just another added bonus to the already reasonable prices. Stopped by for a quick meal. It's difficult to find quality gyros in this area but was very pleased. They have a drive thru which is also very convenient. We ordered 2 gyros and they were plenty to eat on their own. The meat has great flavor. Some gyro meat is overly spicy but this was perfect. We will definitely be going back. read more

I have had gyros from here several times and each time they are PERFECT. I've had it delivered to work, dined in, and been through the drive thru. It doesn't matter how you get it because the gyros are consistently delicious and always warm. The meat is very flavorful and the amount you get for the price is outstanding. I had lunch there today, for the first time, and I thought it was well-worth the money I spent. The gyro was very good, as were the French fries, and the baklava was also very good. You get two nice size pieces of baklava for $2.19, which I think is a fair price. They placed the baklava in a "to go" box, which was good because I could not eat both pieces while there. Actually, I am eating the other piece right now, and enjoying it very much. The waitress was quite nice and they give free refills on your beverage. I will definitely go back again. read more

We tried Super Gyros for the first time the other day. It was reasonably priced for what we got. My fiance tried their gyros and said they were just "ok" and that he didn't care for the sauce. He says the sauce can make or break the gyro itself. He thinks they could even charge a little more and add feta cheese and a better sauce to make it a better gyro. He also tried their Chicago dog, and said it was really good! I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was just pretty good. I love philly sandwiches and rarely find places that have a really good one. I liked how it had banana peppers on it. It was nothing spectacular, but it was definitely worth the price and we will go there again. Overall, it was "ok", but nothing that wowed us. read more
