It sucks that I have to write this review because I gave this company a second chance and yet, my house is still dirty. I contacted supermaids last minute for a move-out clean. They were quick to take a deposit. Once I've paid them 50%, there was no response until the next morning. I wanted to cancel the service but was told the deposit was non-refundable after the fact. Fine, went through with the service. Day of clean, no updates. I text Lucy asking for updates. She didn't respond until the next day and only because she was asking me to pay the other 50% fee. I paid accordingly. 2 days later, I check the house and it was still ridiculously dirty. They completely missed the half bath and closet downstairs. The fridge, which I told her is in the garage, was untouched. The floors had debris and stains (that were easily wiped off). The counters were obviously not wiped. I text Lucy telling her I'm not happy. She said she will come back Tues and re-clean. Tues flies by and no response from Lucy. I tried calling, nothing. I'm writing this review on a thurs, 2 days after the supposed re-clean and the house is still dirty. I am now down a few hundred dollars and still need to get another company to clean. I'm truly disappointed and pissed. The pictures speak for themselves. Do your self a favor and don't hire these people. You would think, since covid, they would be more careful with their business. read more

UPDATED: WOULD GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR IF I COULD. Horrible communication, unreliable, and leads you on. Of course after I post my initial less than stellar review I get a prompt response. The response was that it was windy and the windows were open ... I think not. The wind doesn't blow coffee grinds into my home. Super Maids leads you on and takes your money with expensive first time cleanings and fails to deliver a quality cleaning, and even if you want to give them another chance, they lead you on and don't reply to messages or phone calls. They're clearly too busy and too important to add regular clients. Be careful. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Summary: Unreliable. Take shortcuts. Poor customer service communication. Overcharged for a substandard clean. Despite all that, I'm tired of booking, scheduling, waiting, etc and would like to have them back as regular cleaning services, they can easily correct the issues they overlooked the first time, but as of one week later, they've gone dark and don't reply to any emails. Super Maids, you're not so super, are you!? Extended: After my previous service relocated, I needed a new regular cleaning service and booked Super Maids via the Yelp messaging. It all seemed like it was going to work out. I even got a call the night before to confirm. This was going so well. ... But then things changed. The appointment was originally supposed to be at 11am. Hearing nothing, and looking out the window like a sad puppy, I called them at 11:45am and no one picked up. I messaged through the Yelp platform. I sent a text. Nothing. At this point, I'm thinking great, I've wasted a day off from work and will still have a dirty house. They finally showed up at 1pm, after I had to call from another phone number. We're they avoiding my call? I don't know. Poor customer service. So they show up. But it's only two people, not the quoted three. That's fine, I have a smaller home and they said it looked pretty clean and might take about two hours. Fast forward 2 hours later, they try to charge me for the three person rate! I don't think so! Especially when they showed up late. I had to haggle and negotiate as to why I'm not going to pay a higher priced three person rate when only two people show up, which would also take longer, since only two people are doing the job of three. Reluctantly I wrote a check for still about twice as much as I normally used to pay, but I was just happy the house was clean in time for my pool party the next day. It seemed they were overbooked for the day, and I did appreciate they were able to fit my cleaning in, but they should also not overbook for jobs they can't fulfill. When they were done, I was sympathetic to their schedule, and since my day was completely messed up since they were so late, I didn't spend time going through the house to check their work other than a cursory overview. The "deep cleaning" was just a regular cleaning ... there were missed things like wiping out crumbs from the microwave (no, not a scrub, just brush out the crumbs!), there were surfaces missed and corners cut (move the toaster, wipe up the crumbs and coffee grinds around the grinder), wipe the doors around the door knobs where there are hand prints ... basic little stuff like that. I didn't expect a rubber glove scrub and oven cleaning (I miss my previous cleaners ...), just do the job and do it decently. Despite this awful first experience, it's hard to arrange new cleaners, take time off of work for the introductory cleaning etc, and I really would like to stick with Super Maids and give them another chance ... but yet one week later, I still have not heard a follow-up about scheduling regular cleaning. Are they so busy they don't need to practice good customer service? I'd like to give Super Maids a chance, but so far they need to demonstrate they'll be reliable, which I'm still waiting to see. read more

First of all they are never on time. Not just by 10-15 mins delay. But both times delayed by 3-4 hours. If you are looking for Move in cleaning esp pls don't hire them. They charged me 50$ in addition to the already agreed fees before starting to clean. Then after starting the work they were done in 3 hours. I can see that they literally did not even mop the floor. Extremely pleased with their service. I had reached out to them for just cleaning my bathroom especially my bathtub which was in quite a bad state. They were able to give me an availability the very next day of my enquiry. Initially I was skeptical how the service would be but they arrived with all the required cleaning items and immediately got to work. I booked them for an hour and I must say they did a great job. I hired Super Maids to do an initial cleaning for my entire house. Communications were originally a little bit delayed but eventually I would get a response. After the crew came and cleaned the house I was pretty satisfied with the work and it was really easy to communicate with the man who was leading the team that was at my house. After I paid the team leader I asked him about scheduling regular cleaning services and what that would cost. He gave me a rough estimate but said he would need to confirm with the owner, I said I understand no problem please get back to me and let me know. I never heard back. I tried to follow up with the owner several times, through both Yelp messenger and direct phone calls to her. Multiple times she said she would get back to me but never would. I got tired of trying to chase her to give her my business and gave up. It seems to me that this company is more than happy to schedule initial cleanings with customers because they are about double the cost of a regular cleaning. They come in and do the initial job, get paid, then never follow up with customers who want regular cleanings. I tried so many times to get regular cleanings booked with this company to no avail. I'm really disappointed because I think they did a good job and I would love to have somebody cleaning my house on a regular basis but it's just not working with super maids. I really was hoping Super Maids would be my regular cleaners. However, after using them once, I would highly recommend you avoid them. The biggest issue is they ruined our carpets in THREE different rooms. Secondly, as you've probably read in other reviews, the price increased once they arrived and started cleaning. Below is the story. We rent a home in South San Jose. We actually keep our home very clean, but we were looking for someone to come in and do some of the areas that don't get as much attention to detail...namely the bathrooms and a little in the kitchen. When they arrived they all looked confused when the walked in and the home looked like it had already been cleaned. I explained that we didn't need full cleaning, just wanted the bathrooms and the kitchen cleaned. We have one all glass shower that gets hard water spots, so that was one of the big concerns. Anyway, three of them took over 3 hours to clean when they quoted me just a couple hours. I found out later that they started cleaning the rooms we told them were not necessary and did a number of things I told them not to worry about (basically cleaning things that were already clean) which is what caused them to go too longer than the quote. I figured in the future I'd just have to be more clear and I agreed to pay the extra. They actually did a pretty good job, everything looked pretty good after they left, they just took too long and didn't follow our instructions which cost us more. HOWEVER, the next day we noticed three large bleach stains right outside our master bathroom on the carpet in the bedroom! Then maybe an hour later my daughters came to ask about some spots in their room...sure enough several bleach stains right outside their bathroom on their carpet...and then we started looking around and right outside the laundry room there were more bleach stains on the carpet (which by the way was a room they cleaned which I told them not to). This is a rental house and I'm sure we're going to be screwed now when we move out. This was berber carpet and probably has to be replaced now. I have posted pictures of the stains with this review. Anyway, I sent a text to Lucy with pictures and she replied back simply saying that they don't use bleach and don't think their cleaning products would stain like that. She said she would talk to the cleaners and get back to me, but now it has been weeks and no word back. I doubt they are insured for things like this and now we are on the line for costly repairs! Plus we paid more than we were even supposed to and didn't get any of that back! Believe me, the ladies who cleaned were very nice and did a pretty good job, so I wouldn't make this up...I wish they were reliable enough to have back (assuming they could follow instructions and clean just the rooms we wanted). I try to avoid leaving negative reviews, but Super Maids put me in a very difficult situation with my Airbnb. It was my first time renting my home on Airbnb, and I hired Lucy to clean our apartment right when our guest arrived. Initially, she was very responsive and was able to schedule us on the next day. Lucy postponed our appointment not once, not twice, but three times. Meanwhile, our guest was at our home waiting for each of the appointments that Lucy made with us. For the inconvenience, we ended up refunding our guest several hundred dollars. In fairness to Lucy, after the third time she cancelled the appointment, she offered us 50% off cleaning services. She apologized for rescheduling and said that they were short-staffed that week. I feel sorry for the situation, but I feel that she should have instead told me that she was too busy at the outset. Whoa! I just got off a call for a quote. The monthly rate for my townhouse was $135/ month. Sounds fair. The shock was in the initial cleaning. They charge by the hour. I assume it's to assess size and magnitude. When I asked the hourly rate Lucy's response was "$135/hr, but we'll have 3 ladies working." When I asked for clarification, it's roughly 3 hours the first time and I'd be responsible for 3x $135, she said yes. For that, I'll give up my Saturday and do it myself! *I just received a call from Lucy. She was upset with my review. Not entirely professional in my opinion, but I understand her concern. Just to be clear, I rated my experience. I have no knowledge of how well she provides a service. OMG, these guys did a great job!! I decided to have someone deep clean my house for the first time, and I am so glad I chose Super Maids! The appointment was easy to set up, I simply messaged them on Yelp & the owner (Lucy) was very responsive. I was also able to get an appointment In a reasonable amount of time. Today, Chanel & her crew showed up, we did a quick walk through to let em know what to clean/avoid, and they got to work. They are FAST!! Granted there were 4 of them, but they were outta here in 2.5 hours! (It would've taken me 2 days to do what they did.) And they did such an amazing job! They were super thorough & cleaned things I never even expected them to (ie - my electric toothbrush base, cobwebs in my closet ceiling, etc). Such an amazing job! The place looks so good I'm making my husband go out to eat so we don't mess up the kitchen. The price is reasonable and the group is very trust worthy. I had to leave early for an appointment & was hesitant to leave someone I didn't know in my house unsupervised, but all was good! The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that they forgot to lock the front door when they left (1/2 star), and I had to go back in & scrub my shower, which is something I would expect with a deep clean (another 1/2 star). I wish my experience with this company was great. I specifically set up a 3pm appointment to work around my son's napping schedule. They ended up arriving at 2pm. I wasn't home at the time, and my niece who was babysitting my son didn't let them in because my son was on his very timely sleep schedule and wasn't going to wake up for another hour (hence the 3pm appt...). I ended up getting contacted and told them (again) that we had a 3pm appt and they wouldn't be able to go in earlier. The cleaners left, and when I got home at 3, I ended up waiting until 3:30 before I had to contact the lady to see where they were. She told me that they were working on another house and would be by at 5. I agreed just because the house needed a clean before an event. 5pm came around and no cleaners in sight. I (again) contacted the lady and she said they wouldn't be able to make it that day. I ended up rescheduling for a couple of days out just to be nice and what do you know...they cancelled on me again. Wow, was this a terrible experience. We hired them for a move-in clean. Despite an appointment for 3, for which I left work early, they didn't arrive until 6:30. They obviously missed their normal dinner, so they had my wife go pick up dinner for them. On top of this, the cleaning job was inadequate, probably because they were rushing due to starting three and a half hours late. My wife pointed out specific areas that she wanted cleaned, and when she went back there was still visible dirt and grime that I ended up cleaning myself the next morning. These guys do a great job cleaning. It's easy to schedule appointments and they usually have 2-3 people show up and clean fast and effectively. Lucy especially is very efficient and a very nice person! My only issue early on was that they were not really on time. Lucy has been making an effort to get better at this and also is upfront if she has any delays. She goes out of her way to make sure she is able to accommodate busy schedules. The thing I love about Lucy is that I don't have to tell her to clean this or that, she takes initiative to clean every nook and corner and dust every table. This is the second time my boyfriend and I have used Super Maids to clean our Townhome. We do the typical maintenance ourselves, but were looking for someone to come in to do a deeper clean with a focus on the kitchen and the bathroom. The first time using the service in January, the cleaners showed up 1.5 hours late to our appointment. Although incredibly frustrating at the time, we decided to try them again because we were very pleased with the cleaning service itself. After this second time, I will not be using Super Maids again. During the initial walkthrough after the clean things seemed ok, floor vacuumed and mopped, etc. They explained to us that they were unable to get the soap scum on the glass of the shower, ok fine. After closer inspection however, I'm not convinced they did much more than vacuum, mop, and do a general wipe down of the kitchen surfaces. There was dust on many of the counters, windowsills, and lamp bases. I would consider dusting a standard part of any cleaning service. What's most upsetting is the state of the bathroom counters, sink, and shower as we specifically asked them to focus there. There was scum and dirt on the shower caulking that I was able to wipe off pretty easily. There was also dog hair all over the floor still, especially in the corners. Booked a move-out clean for Sunday morning. Confirmed the appointment by phone and also through their website. Got a confirmation email for the appointment. Got a text message FOUR HOURS BEFORE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SHOW UP CANCELLING THE APPOINTMENT. This was a time sensitive move out - had to be cleaned and vacated that day. Extremely unprofessional - would not even give me the courtesy of a phone call, everything was communicated over text message. Tried to call them with no answer. Could not book a cleaner last minute, had to delay our move out, was charged an extra day of rent by my landlord. BEWARE - do not book if you have a time sensitive move. I would give no stars if possible. Hired them for a move out cleaning. Everything was great up until the day of the cleaning. They scheduled my cleaning at 4:00PM, confirmed with Lucy. Then I didn't hear back from them. I had to follow up twice and called when they hadn't shown up by 4:15PM. I was then told that there is an hour window for them to show up, but that they were busy and would be late and they wanted to reschedule me. I was counting on them showing up the day I confirmed with them. They never did. I never even got a call that they weren't coming, they just ghosted me on the service. If it wasn't for ME calling THEM, I wouldn't have even known that they likely weren't (and didn't) show up. Thankfully I was able to work it out with my landlord or I would have been so screwed. Lupe was Amazing! My home feels like it was deep cleaned not just wiped down. She is very fast and thorough with her cleaning. She pays attention to the details when cleaning an area. She will even move the furniture to make sure she has reached underneath and behind. She is easy to communicate with as she's fluent in English and Spanish. To top it off she's really nice. Lucy and her coworker were so fast and so efficient they came in like a whirl and move everything out of place cleaned it move everything back in the place and move onto the next room. I did not think that they were going to have time to complete my entire place in the one hour that I booked but they did and said it was no problem at all. Lucy was so friendly and eager to help. Imaging a house with more than 2000 say and just had some remodel, if they can a great job for that in two hours that will be super amazing. Forget about details, I thought at least they cleanup the dust but there are still several doors with dust covered all over, spider nests everywhere, uncleaned windown shades... They did an excellent job at my house today. 2 bathrooms and the kitchen from head to toe.. I am not sure of the going rate for cleaning services these days, but it seems a bit high at 125.00 an hour.. I had 2 hours but if I did my whole house, it would be 5-6 hundred dollars. They walked me through the process and answered all my questions. I was able to get a quote over the phone and I ended up paying exactly what she told me.
