About a year ago I posted a review on how much I loved how my nails were done here. So I gave it a five star. Now yesterday I came in at about 3:20ish and waited about an hour or so which I didn't mind. When it was finally my turn the guy that works there asked me what nail color I wanted and I told him if I can wait for Elva so he told her I wanted to wait for her and her response was "WHATEVER". At this point I wanted to walk out but I really needed my nails done so my dumb Butt let that comment slide and waited. When she was ready for me I didn't even get a thank you for waiting or anything and then the way she started working with my nails and handling my hand I felt like she was bothered. The most disappointing part is that she is the OWNER and for being the owner she is very rude and sure has no customer service skills what so ever. Great prices! Large selection of no chip colors. Great job shaping the nails. (They also do really trendy designs!) My first visit was pleasant. It wasn't very crowded and I was immediately seated. If you can find a better place to get your nails done go to another place. Don't waste your time or your money here. This place is beyond dirty and unprofessional too. The person doing my pedicure was so rude. The instruments were not packaged and they don't have disposable wrapping over the sinks for your feet so who knows how often they clean them. When she cleaned up my nails with acetone she used a brush from inside the drawer and placed it right back in there when she was done. Don't give this place your money, you'll truly be disappointed. Everyone working here is rude the service sucks. As soon as you tell them something you don't like you know they're talking about you. Worst. Pedicure. Ever. Walked in there was someone sitting, but was greeted and sat for my pedi upon arrival. That's the only positive! I was sat fast, then sat for an additional 31 minutes before my pedi started. Wasn't asked which pedicure I wanted, all that was asked is if she should cut nails down or file. 12 minutes later I was done with my pedicure, no apology for wait, no conversation whatsoever. One lady started doing a no chip manicure and ripped into my cuticles on 3 different fingers, the manager then took over (not changing her gloves from the previous person she was working on and swirling her hand around the pedicure tub and proceeding to put that persons foot in!) and then had to redo a hand all over again. The job was done subpar even the second time around. Very disappointed. Went down the street to VIP Nails & Spa where the job is done well and they were very clean!! The nail tech I used to go to stopped working there months ago. I kept on going because I really liked how the owner did the nails. However, she's always "busy" and hands me over to others. While the only male employee there does a decent job, the young female employee there does not. She used to be nice and have a nice attitude but after my last visit there I decided not to go here anymore. I didn't like how she shaped or "cut" my cuticles, and it made the polish look bad. She polished my nails from almost half of the bed. When she asked if all was ok I kindly asked her if she could fix it and she got very defensive and started speaking in her language right away to her older co-worker. I am positive she was complaining about me because instead of talking to me after what I asked her she talked to her co-worker. I wish I knew what she was saying but I just kept my cool, paid and tipped her and just decided never to come back. My nails looked 2 weeks old (usually when I come in to re-do) at only 1 week. TBH this is the only place I come to. My nail tech always accomplishes the look I want to achieve, I don't want to go anywhere else. Why would I? When she does exactly the style I want. She's so always so nice and friendly. I always get asked where do I go to get my nails done?! I always recommend her, because I'm always getting complimented on my nails. She deserves the recognition. She always takes care of me. (When it comes to my nails) I love her, she's the best I've seen in a long time. I'm always satisfied with my nails. The only comment I see is the communication between languages for some customers trying to explain certain services. Overall it's clean, nicely decorated, comfortable massage chairs and friendly staff. My personal favorites are Erik and Nene, the nicest people. read more

I went there for a few months to do my nails. The only person that does them nice is the owner. Every time I asked for her she huff and puffed, and no I'm not a difficult customer. I would just ask for a fill in with no chip. Pretty basic. Besides that, what really turned me off was the way she just stares hard at customers. Especially African Americans. The first two times were ok, not much interaction even though I tried to make conversation just to be friendly like I always do to make the experience more pleasant. I was at my previous nail place for 4 years and 5 years at the place before that. I moved to the south and came here hoping to find a new nail home. Despite the customer service there price and work is good. I decided the try one more time so I came back a third time. This time i sat next to a lady that made the comment to me that the owner of the shop made her feel like she shouldn't ask questions because she would respond very coldly. That is how I felt when I asked the nail technician "Peter" how was his day going and he just looked at me said "good" with a stern face and kept doing my nails. Very horrible experience! I went in for a refill. the old lady was doing my nails she was very mad and upset the whole time. When i ask her something she doesn't reply and starts to talk her own language with her coworkers. My nails looked cricket and the whole thing looked very poorly done. I was very upset at the end because for 1 not only my nails looked bad, but I was treated very poorly. They don't even deserve a one star. Never going back there again. read more

Honestly, probably one of the worst service experiences in my life. I waited almost an hour, which I didn't mind until I had to wait another 30 minutes for my nails to soak (even though I stated from the beginning I needed my acrylics soaked off) in which time my technician started on someone who came in after me. The entire time she was with my she was acting like I was inconveniencing her by being there and pulling on my hands. I've been coming here for years even though they have change owners they have great prices and have a huge selection of no chip colors. Went for a no chip and got a great color and I'm happy to say one week later nails are still in good shape which means a lot because most of the time it doesn't last me much. They had a pedicure n manicure special for 40 bucks.. not bad I might go back for that spring is coming haha. Not as clean as I would like it and my no chip was 30 bucks. But pricy. DO NOT GO HERE! I, along with my mom and sister have been a customer of this place for years. Today, my mom was DENIED SERVICE for no reason. She came in and they said they couldn't serve her. I called immediately to which they hung up on me TWICE as I was speaking. The rest of the calls they decided to ignore. My mom speaks Spanish and wasn't able to fully defend herself and her language pointed out. This is extremely unacceptable and I would hope that no one would have to go through this. Please do not visit this place and give these people your money. Their service and attitude with my mom was disgusting. ADDITION: In response to Stephanie's review and Elva's response, we have had no issues with previous owners or current employees. We have had issues with Elva. My mom is a respectful person who comes in a requests a specific person. That's all - respect is expected from employees. To call her unruly is just false. We have been giving this place business for years; as a business, you should respect your customers with the best service, which isn't the always the case with this manager. We are paying customers, why get a bad attitude from the manager? As such, there is absolutely NO reason to deny my mom service for simply coming in and requesting a specific person; people do this ALL the time. I did call various times because the manager is unprofessional , hung up on me and refused to give me a clear cut answer as to why service was denied. This isn't harassment, this is demanding justice. There is a difference. As for a false review, there is no such thing. I am giving a review based on an experience. Claiming a false review is claiming false opinions; again, there is no such thing. We have experienced terrible service from this manager. My 2 sisters and I came in super last minute today around 7:15 after having dinner across the street. This is our new go to spot for sister days! The 3 ladies that helped us were so friendly and took their time doing our pedicure. It was amazing and our toes look great! And the crazy part is we're all 3 nail tech ourselves and enjoy getting pampered once in a while and highly recommend this place. I was really excited to try this place out, being from the north side. They offer a variety of designs and use of rhinestones. However my experience did not go well. The owner did my nails. She has absolutely no social skills. Has a very flat personality. Doesn't greet you. Just says pick a color. When I showed her a picture of a plain white ombré design from Pinterest she said it wasn't a problem. Then told me it would be $53 for a full set, because pink powder is $5 more and cost of work to ombré the nail color. HELLO $53!? No way. The gel full set for a plain color is $35. Today I went to super nails highly recommend by my sister This place recently changed owners and thought this could be a good place to become our go to place for all nail services, despite the previous comments about the place having no customer service and the owner really not trying to keep potential loyal customers I still went. When I arrived the owner was not busy and instead had me sit with another nail technician. I asked for short nails coffin style. When I made a comment to the nail tech about my nails maybe not short enough for my liking she immediately became irritated and began speaking their language with the owner. I'm disappointed because instead of this place trying to make there new customers permanent they ignore them. Plenty of other places near by which I may have to start trying. I'm so disappointed that if I could leave no stars I would. The biggest shock was shortly I arrived a new customer walked in and asked the owner to do her nails and the owner said "no" customer offers to pay her more and still the owner told her "no" where is the old fashioned being polite and telling your customers to give you a minute to finish working on the current customer and then helping you.
