First time trying this place out and wow I will definitely be back soon. Sizzling hot plates that are definitely instagram/Snapchat worthy. I had the Beef pepper rice and I decided to add and egg for a dollar more and I added some cheese to it too. So delicious. I could've done with a bit more salt but the staff is pretty accommodating if you want any extra sauce or side condiments. It was definitely a filling plate and everyone in my party was beyond satisfied. They offer really good appetizers like bacon wrapped sausage and cheesy garlic fries and offer beer glass and pitchers and some sake bottles. Oh and there's a boba store connected to super pan and I absolutely loved my mango sago with lychee jelly boba drink. The place itself isn't extremely big and could easily get packed but thankfully I went at a time when it wasn't so busy. The staff is really attentive and constantly refills your water which is really important to me personally so kudos to them. read more

I was looking on Yelp for good places to eat because my boyfriend and I wanted to try something new. I continued to see pictures about this place from my friends, and friends-of-friends so I figured I'd check it out. Parking was a nightmare of course (Geary is always packed) but we were able to find something a block and a half away. Locating the restaurant was a little sketch because it looked nothing like I expected - it was a near-empty restaurant with a group guys sitting in the corner with their laptop out. My boyfriend and I were seated immediately and greeted warmly by one of the guys from the table. I recommended ramen for my boyfriend because he wasn't feeling too great and I figured soup would be good for him. I myself chose the salmon cream pasta after seeing pictures on the yelp page. Mine came out first, sizzling with the most delicious aroma while Patrick's came out shortly after, creamy and it smelled amazing (he ordered ramen with brisket). The server instructed that I mix the salmon around a bit as it wasn't fully cooked, but the bottom should be done. As soon as I started mixing, I noticed how quickly the fish cooked and the noodles were a little dry, but the oil sort of helped as it distributed the flavor evenly throughout the plate. The dish itself was great, but it could've used a little something extra. I couldn't quite identify what was missing, but it wasn't too specific that I think it would've drastically changed the dish. The ramen was good, nothing stood out really since I had a lot of flavors going on at once. I'd give this place 4.5 stars if I could just because the service was great and the presentation was really unique. Next time, we'l probably try out one of the rice dishes. read more

Went here for the first time recently and thought the place was pretty good. Would go eat here again. First off, the place is kinda small. Not many tables but oddly, it wasn't filled up during peak dinner time on a Sunday. There's a side area where people can order just Boba drinks to go. My bro and buddy got steak plates and I got a healthier chicken and salmon combo. They gave plenty of chicken and both items tasted good. The one thing I was disappointed with wad the sauce they gave for the dish. I felt it was kinda watery and not too flavorful but I failed to see that they had other sauces I could've chosen. We also ordered Boba drinks and they tasted ok. Nothing to rave about on those but not disappointed. Service was very attentive and nice. Waters refilled in a timely manner as well. Happened to bump into this place while on the way to Volcano Curry. I am a San Jose native and personally had attention drawn to this restaurant because it resembles pepper lunch in Milpitas. As I was looking at the menu, one of the owners comes out and says to come in, so my boyfriend and I decided to go in and try it. Their menu is complete, one thing I always longed for from pepper lunch was more variety in meats, and this menu had it! Beef, pork, chicken, and salmon. Also, we tried their sparkling sake and it was just as they recommended, sweet! The two ladies serving us were very sensitive to our needs and made great conversation. My boyfriend scarfed down his plate, the sauce is delicious! Personally I have a hard time finishing my own food and when I asked for a box, the owners gave me extra rice for free! The only thing I would be disappointed about was that they do not provide as much meat on your plate as pepper lunch does. And pepper lunch is lower in price for more meat. One thing I recommend to the owners of this place is listen to your yelp reviews! Provide more meat on the plates. read more

I really love the food here! In my opinion the beef sizzling plate here is better than I heart pepper! Especially the one with cheese and egg! I love love love it, it is so delicious and inexpensive, definitely a go to place in the area to have lunch or dinner. Also the Korean dessert they have here is SO GOOD!!!!!!! So this place is like a Pepper Lunch, and I was really interested to try it with a group of friends after discovering it in SF! First thoughts: -The menu has great pictures of each dish so visually, it was easy to choose what to eat. -Upon ordering the creamy basil chicken pasta dish, I found it to be OK. I think there could be a better sauce to pasta ratio but overall the dish was okay. Ordered the Chasiu Ramen. Soup tasted more like a chinese soup stock rather than a ramen soup stock. Chasiu was cold. It tasted like if someone got it from a cold fridge and put it straight into luke warm soup. The egg was not over boiled, but lack any flavor. It was however cooked to a soft middle yolk, but not runny. Similar to the Chasiu, the egg was cold. The noodles clumped up a bit, and there was a slight slimy texture to it. Similar to what u get when you boil it in water that's already starchy from the previous noodle boils. Workers were nice and fast with service. read more

The food here was pretty good. Very good prices with some enjoyable dishes. Some of the dishes we had included a hotplate with pasta noodles in white sauce with chicken. The chicken was very tender and the sauce was very good. We also tried the ramen which was so so. The highlights of this restaurant are definitely the hot plates with steak or chicken and any of the cutlet dishes. The restaurant seems to sell drinks on the other side of the store as well which you can also order when you dine in the restaurant half. The parking around this restaurant is pretty hard to find since it is a very busy street, so I highly recommend either coming here at a non-rush time like the weekdays or be prepared to look for a while for parking. Also, I'm not sure how this restaurant is classified as two dollar signs when there are some restaurants I go to that could cost as much as 25-35 dollars a person that is also the same dollar signs. read more

This whole pepper lunch thing is new to me, but I thought it was pretty cool. The meat was delicious and the noodles were yum. Maybe it could be more flavorful, but I was pretty satisfied with the taste. The service was nice and attentive. Be careful of the sizzling hot plates! Food was okay. A little bland for my taste but still good. If they had hot sauce or a bottle of sriracha, that might help boost the flavor but at the time I didn't think to ask if they had any. I'm glad I gave this place a second try. Unlike my first experience, the beef was cooking evenly since it was defrosted. As I drizzled the sauce across, I could hear the meat sizzling with flavor. Super Pan caught my attention as I was looking through Yelp because it reminded me of Peppered Lunch in Milpitas. I was looking forward to trying this place out and have had it bookmarked for a while. I came on a Friday evening with two friends and we ordered the beef peppered rice plate and the cheesy omelette beef plate. The sizzling plates of food came out fast and we were given instructions on how to eat prepare the plate before eating. It was fun mixing the food and adding the sauces. Taste wise, it wasn't anything spectacular. We also regretted getting two dishes that were too similar and tasted alike. They have pretty good drinks here though! read more
